We recently stayed in Nicolas’s apartment for 21 nights last month. We found the area to be very walkable and although we rented a car for the first 2 days to explore the area, we found plenty of restaurants and a nice Publix within walking distance. Regarding the apartment, we found it to be very clean and well stocked with kitchen stuff, so that I was able to cook meals. We had to contact Nicolas a few times over our stay and he responded quickly. The apartment building common areas were impeccably clean and there were employees cleaning the hallways and elevators everyday. We used the pool several days and the outdoor area was spacious and nice. The only issue we had was the hot water not working in the building while they replaced a part and intermittently over the next couple of days. There is a beautiful beach right across Collins Ave. There is a laundry room with 2 washers and dryers right down the hall; download the Laundry app to make doing your laundry very easy. Also take advantage of the free Sunny Isles shuttle which stops right in front of the building and goes to Aventura mall, as well as other beaches and shopping near there. We loved the area and Nicolas’s apartment and would consider visiting again in the future.
