Wonderful Property

This was a wonderful property for a family holiday, with just the right combination of communal and private space for everyone. So many spots to sit and relax too, and just a short walk to the beach. The host was so welcoming and even provided some special treats when we arrived!

Perfect for our blended group

This property had everything we were looking for as a large group with varying ages. The property was perfect because it allowed for people to have the privacy of their own room and bathroom, while being in close proximity to the larger gathering spaces inside and out. We were within walking distance to the beach, many restaurants, and our favorite ice cream shop. The owners were incredibly communicative and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. The house is well stocked with kitchen, household, and beach necessities. We cannot wait to return next year!

Spectacular stay in Ogunquit!

Footbridge Treasure

This house suited us to a T. There was privacy for each of four family groups, with a gathering room that held us all. Shady backyard with space for sports, covered dining area, giant picnic table for giant meals.Best-- it is right at the Footbridge. A quick jaunt to the lazy river for rafting and the beach for jumping the waves. Can't beat the location -- close to fried food and pizza and much more. Groceries and pharmacies down the street.Our hosts took great care of us and shared their Ogunquit knowledge on places to go and things to do.

Twice as Nice

We liked this house so much last year, we returned for another two week stay. The layout with 4 ensuite bedrooms joined by a kitchen, laundry, and great room is just ideal for our extended family. Everyone got their own private space. Backyard built for entertaining and plenty of room to play outdoor games. Can't beat the location. Footbridge Beach right across the street. Restaurants and shops abound. And for Grandma, a grocery store close by. Perfect.

Lovely stay for multigenerational family gathering

We had a fantastic time at Sea Stars. The layout of the place allowed our group of 11 to both be together and have privacy when we needed it. We had one family of four with an 8 and 11 year old, one family of three with a four year old, two grandparents and two uncles. We loved being an 8 minute walk from footbridge beach. We also loved the large yard and outdoor picnic tables for eating and fire pit for making s’mores and hanging out. We had fantastic weather almost the whole time, so we ate most of our large family dinners outside and then hung out under the stars every night! On the days it was a little chilly, the big family room held all of us comfortably.

Would definitely return!

Friendly owners! Clean house, with plenty of room for all of us (5 adults, 5 children) and we didn't even use one of the beds. Two of the bedrooms are very private, with separate entrances. We liked the location because it was a short walk to the beach, right near the trolley station, next door to an amazing authentic pizza restaurant, and there are no visible neighbors. There were many beach toys available, including boogie boards, shovels, pails, ping pong, kiddy pool, a beach cart, and large wagon. The screened in patio was lovely. The only thing I would have liked is a bigger common area where all of us could easily eat dinner inside. However, we ate outside or in the screened- in area most of the time anyway, and I didn't feel I should remove a star from my rating because of it. Summary: a cute, inviting house. A bit narrow for congregating groups, but certainly not a deal-breaker. We had a lovely vacation, and would definitely rent the house again.

Incredible Family Oasis

The unique layout of this house provided separate areas for our four families. Everyone under the same roof, but each able to retreat to their own suite for privacy. We were delighted with how secluded the house was on its treed lot, yet close to activities and restaurants. We usually dined outside on the multiple decks and seating areas. S'mores in the fire pit, of course. Crafts and games for the kids in the great room. The location was superb. At the foot of our driveway a well marked pedestrian crossing took us across Main St right to the Footbridge Beach. It was less than a quarter mile on sidewalks lined with flower gardens. Butterflies galore. We experienced the lazy river on tubes, explored the tidal pools, and jumped the waves. Walked for miles on smooth, immaculate sandy beaches. Sheila and Steve responded FAST to each question we had. They were excellent hosts. We were all sad when we left. It had been an ideal beach house and a wonderful vacation.

Wonderful location with lots of space

Our family including 4 teenagers, a toddler and infant had a wonderful time at this lovely home. We all had our own space with plenty of outdoor options. The house was clean and well equipped for all of our needs. The hosts were extremely welcoming and accommodating, they even provided bubbles for our little ones.

Great house for family vacation!

Our stay in Ogunquit was amazing! This vacation house was perfect for our family including a teenager, toddler, and infant. Everyone had plenty of individual space as well as a common area for us all to spend time together. The outdoor space was amazing with plenty of room for playing and relaxing. Thank you!!

Great spot for family vacation

We had a fun week at this wonderful home: we had a relaxed family vacation with private space and bathroom for each family. Lots of parking for our four vehicles. The large sunroom and huge yard with outdoor shower was wonderful and safe for children playing. Great location to beach, trolley, local restaurants, walk into town. Having use of beach chairs, umbrellas and carts and wagons was a huge plus! We'll be back!!

Oqunquit Beach Trip

Great property with lots of space inside as well as a huge outdoor spread. Also had ample parking which is very unusual for a beach rental. Wonderful owners who supplied nearly all the materials to hang at the beach. A wonderful week away from life’s stresses!

Family reunion

The property met all our needs for a family reunion of 12. It was a terrific location for children and adults.. A wonderful yard for the kids to explore and play games. A neat fire pit for evening conversations and drinks. A great location for access to the beach and all,the beach equipment you need.

The perfect vacation retreat!

We had a wonderful week at Sheila and Steve’s home! Plenty of room for a large family to spread out. We couldn’t be happier that we chose this house for our vacation. Very private despite being so close to quite a few restaurants and walking distance to footbridge beach! The fire pit was great in the evenings. Sheila and Steve were amazing hosts, leaving us a few treats for our stay and were very responsive any time we contacted them. We can’t wait to go back!

A Fun House

What a wonderful house for family or friends to gather and make memories. The separate entrances and sitting areas in each suite provide privacy if you desire while the common area and the fire pit are great places to share stories, converse and maybe even sing. The ingredients for s'mores was provided and greatly appreciated by those of us with a sweet tooth. A nice touch from the owners. The walk to the beach is lovely and the footbridge and the river provide magnificent views. We would certainly stay here again.

Charming house, great location

We celebrated my mother-in-law's 75th birthday over a 4-day weekend here. There were the birthday girl & husband; 3 50s-aged children (one with spouse); and early-20s grandson & wife. Everyone loved the house! It's quirky and completely charming--also clean and homey. We all had lots of privacy, both indoors & out. Each bedroom is like a private suite, and there are outdoor patios for each room. There are also chairs around a fire pit and a lovely table/chairs area under some trees. The huge "common room" was still being renovated when we were there, but it was definitely useable and we had our sit-together meals there. It will be a beautiful area when it's finished (very soon)--tables & chairs along with sectional sofa seating and lots of screened-in windows. The location can't be beat: nice walk to Footbridge Beach, restaurants etc. within a very short walk, trolley stop nearby so you don't have to drive into the village/Perkins Cove--and at the same time you have your own little private B&B tucked in the trees up above it all. We would definitely rent it again, and we will recommend it to friends.

Quaint and airy

Spacious, clean, rustic. Park your car for the weekend, you wont' need it. The beach is a short walk. Trolley pick up is at the base of the road or walk into town, either way it is a great take.
