In 1894, Casper and Anna Yost built the Offutt Mansion with architect Henry Ives Cobb. The French Chateauesque-style Mansion cost a mere $15,000 in 1894, $10 million in today’s dollars! Casper and Anna presented the home as a wedding gift to their only daughter, Bertha. In 1916 the accompanying carriage house was built near the rear of the property.

The Offutt Manor was one of the earliest high-style mansions in Omaha. It is a two and one-half story 17 room escape located in Omaha's Historic Gold Coast District. The Manor features Gothic Revival architecture with a symmetrical facade, steeply pitched tomato red slate roof and impressive front entrance.

The interior is equally impressive with a 'Cuban Mahogany' library with a pink onyx fireplace, black walnut dining room, quarter-sawn oak entry, and grand staircase. The home was built with gas/ornate electric fixtures and wall sconces that still grace this exquisite estate.

The rooms are a mixture of styles and sleeping configurations. You can comfortably sleep 18 without using the couches or daybeds.

Guests have access to the entire main floor, including a fully stocked kitchen, dining room, library, sitting room, and billiards room.

Guests will have private enjoyment of their personal sleeping quarters, each with its own private en suite. Three of the rooms have full kitchens while the remainder have kitchenettes with mini fridges and microwaves.
This is a 3-story building with an ornate grand staircase that accesses floors 2 and 3.

There is a back staircase (servant staircase) that accesses all floors, including the basement, where one of the Ford Presidential studio is located.

The Carriage House features a more private retreat on the top floor.

You will be using stairs during your stay.

The morning of your check in, you will receive instructions for access as well as contact info for after hours maintenance emergencies.

The Historic Gold Coast neighborhood is one of Omaha's most grand and historic neighborhoods. Each street is lined with turn of the century grand homes, many of which are on the Historic Registry. The Offutt Manor is the cornerstone of this beautiful neighborhood.

The Castle and Cathedral Arts District has as its focal point both the Joslyn Castle and Saint Cecilia Cathedral. Be sure to stop by the Castle and its extensive gift shop as well as the Art Museum at the Cathedral.

The neighborhood is walkable to all that Midtown Omaha has to offer, including art and music events, incredible restaurants and nightlife.Parking is first come, first serve! The parking is free, and is available:
- on-street
- in the driveway on the south side of the home
- behind the property to the west
- behind the garage doors of the Carriage House

Public Transportation is located 1 block to the south on Dodge Street.
