Blue Fish on Firefly Park

Located on Firefly Park, Blue Fish has impressive views and quick walking access to the Community Garden, Lakeside Walking Trails, Nature Playground, and The Meeting House restaurant and event venue. The front porch and back yard are well equipped for spending hours outside. There are 2 King bedrooms and also a bunk room that can sleep up to 6 kids. GOLF CART INCLUDED and the option to bring your dog, the choice is easy!

The Space:
Blue Fish is a place you walk into and instantly feel at ease. It’s homey-coastal design and ocean color pallet invite you to settle into your vacation.
You’ll park in a private driveway, with room for 2 vehicles, plus the included golf cart. There’s enough room for an additional golf cart if you decide to rent another. Overflow parking is within walking distance. The Blue Fish backyard is a place you’ll want to hang out. There’s a paved patio and walkway to the house, a chiminea and chairs, and iron tiki torches. The entire yard is surrounded by a fence with gates in the back and the front. Trees and bushes provide shade, privacy and beauty. Huge boulders from the local natural landscape add dimension and seating to the backyard entertainment area. A flattop Blackstone Grill is located on the paved patio, and a traditional Weber Grill is located on the covered back porch. Grill utensils and propane are provided.

Enter through the back door where there are benches, cubbies and hooks for storing all your gear. This space also includes a large powder bathroom and laundry room with full size washer and dryer and a starter set of detergent provided.

The living room, kitchen and dining space are located on the lower level in an open concept. The dining table has 6 chairs and there are 4 comfortable barstools with backs along the kitchen island, so the whole group can sit down to meals together. Meals and snacks are easy in this fully stocked kitchen. You’ll find plenty of cookware and serve ware and many appliances and utensils are provided. Please ask if we can check on an item before you come!
You’ll find both a 12 cup Cusinart coffee maker and a single serve Keurig with a small assortment of K-cups. Even with so much provided, this kitchen has space for you to put away the things you’ve brought, so you can feel organized and settled.

The living room has 2 overstuffed sofas, 2 chic arm chairs, a smart tv and table for playing games or enjoying coffee. The living room, kitchen and dining room all have a view of Firefly Park. Step out onto the front porch to get the full affect of this charming green-space. The park is lined with trees that look beautiful in all seasons but the entire middle area is reserved for grass. This is a prime location for games of tag or spike-ball. The park is also popular for arts and music festivals! Blue Fish is located prominently on the inside bend, with a sweeping view of Firefly Park as well as the Community Garden. An oversized swing with a twin size mattress hangs on one side of the porch and a cushioned conversation set sits on the other. There are 2 outdoor ceiling fans to keep you feeling fresh and the entire porch is enclosed with a gate to step out onto the park. This makes it wonderful for families to enjoy being outside with their small children and pets, worry free!

Finally, on the lower level, is the spacious primary suite with a king bed and plenty of room for a pack-n-play or additional gear. This room has a smart tv and furniture for putting your things away. The ensuite bathroom has a granite double vanity, a tiled walk-in shower, and a separate room for the toilet.
Upstairs you’ll find another full bathroom with an intricate stained glass window and excellent natural light. This bathroom has a shower/tub combo and plenty of storage space. It is shared by both upstairs bedrooms. The first bedroom has a King bed, furniture for your things and a stunning view of Firefly Park. The second bedroom includes 2 sets of bunks, single mattresses on top and double mattresses on bottom, sleeping up to 6. This room also has a view of Firefly Park but, more exciting for the kids, there is a secret nook, accessed within the bunk-room closet where they will want to hide out and play! The upstairs bedrooms do not have televisions in effort to encourage togetherness and screen-free time.

Blue Fish is Dog Friendly! Pet accommodations must be arranged in advance. Please be sure to let us know that you’ll be bringing a pet. A small additional housekeeping fee will apply.

This property includes a 4 person golf cart at no extra cost. Drivers must be at least 21 years of age and carry a valid drivers license.

The Neighborhood:
Carlton Landing is designed so that every amenity can be reached by taking a short walk through the scenic landscape of this resort-style town. While the main attraction is Lake Eufaula itself, the town of Carlton Landing offers an impressive list of amenities. With free access to swimming pools, a hot tub, a swim beach and dock for fishing, basket ball, volleyball, ping-pong, playgrounds and hiking trails with a view of the lake you'll find plenty to do with your vacation time. Carlton Landing also offers frequent events such as live music, arts and crafts and fitness classes, pop-up shopping and festivals. During lake season there are paddle board and kayak rentals available on-site and watercraft rentals nearby. Airstream trailers located directly above the swim beach and marina make the cutest little food trucks you've ever visited and two local restaurants mean you'll never have to get in your vehicle to have a delicious meal! Carlton Landing Community Church meets on Sunday mornings at 10 and all are welcome (lake attire is usual)!Beyond the town, Carlton Landing is located between two Oklahoma State Parks, with nearby golf courses, horse stables and plenty of boutique and antique shopping.
