Welcome to The Coral Cottage - 43C Redbud Lane

Located in the micro neighborhood within Carlton Landing- The Borough. This one bedroom with loft, one bathroom cottage is a brick masonry masterpiece. The swing on the porch is the perfect place to relax and catch up on your favorite novel while enjoying your morning coffee. The Borough has a shared sitting fire pit where neighbors and friends gather many evenings.

As you walk through the front door of "The Coral Cottage" you will find yourself in the cozy living area with a sectional couch and chair surround a flat-screen TV provide a place to share adventures and tales of the day. The unique kitchen is fully stocked to provide you with all your cooking needs. The island in the kitchen plays as a dining area with six bar stools, it is the perfect use of space!

Upstairs, you will find the queen bedroom with loft where three twin beds are located. In the hallway is the bathroom with walk-in shower and laundry area. This sensational Carlton Landing home in the Borough is simply stunning and perfect for a small family or friends traveling together.

The Coral Cottage has 1 guest parking space, located on Redbud Circle labeled "43C". All additional vehicles can be parked in the parking lot behind The Meeting House, located on Boulevard.

Golf carts parked at the property are owners use only.
If you would like to rent a Golf cart, please reserve your cart online through Carts of Carlton at or contact Dr. Doos at.

All of our vacation rental homes at LakeStay are equipped with bed linens, bath towels, a starter supply of amenities, and a washer/dryer unit for your stay. Guests will have access to our community amenities: pool, hot tub, grills, inflatable water park, and seasonal kayaks-paddle board rentals. The cottage was perfect for our little getaway. It was clean and had everything we needed. The bed was super comfy. We enjoyed drinking coffee on the porch in the morning and having ice cream on it in the evening. We’d definitely book again.

Cozy place for a weekend away!

We stayed for NYE and enjoyed the cabin. 2 adults, 2 kids and the size was perfect for us since we were always on the go.

Perfect stay at coral cottage! Very comfortable and lovely home. Loved the area and the friendly people in it. PorchFest was this weekend and we didn’t even know about the event but enjoyed part of it in the afternoon! It was a great place to spend our anniversary!

Beautiful cottage, great location!

It was perfect for our family of 5. The rooms were all beautifully decorated and so clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. The kids loved the loft area. We loved the location with the bocce ball courts and ping pong table just outside. Such a cute little town with a great nature trail and playground. We will definitely be back and would love to stay in this same house again!

Spring Break

We booked a long weekend for Spring Break, accommodations were great! It was a little tricky since we arrived after dark but we eventually located the cottage and figured out the keypad for entry. The town was great, not a ton to do with the cooler weather but we will definitely be back in the summer!

Quaint Cottage

I spent two nights with my son and my sister for a cold, rainy spring break. Because of the weather we were nestled nicely in this quaint cottage. It was beautifully decorated and cozy. I loved the detailed architecture of the windows and doors. The beds were fluffy and the linens were new and fresh. There’s nothing the owners haven’t thought about to welcome guests. I definitely want to return.

A Great Getaway for the Family!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the cottage. We felt very at home here. I was SO happy that the bed was actually so comfortable. Most places leave me with a sore back - but not this place. Also, there is a ceiling fan in the bedroom which was another bonus if you tend to need ceiling fan noise to snooze. The only issue we had at all was parking was a bit tight if the other residents don’t park correctly. We do drive a large truck and neighboring cars were not always courteous at parking in the correct lines for their spots, so it was a tight squeeze for us, but we made due and that is no fault to the cottage owner. Overall it was a great stay and we are excited to bring our kids back next time!

Compact but charming

The kitchen is well appointed & a comfortable size. We enjoyed the porch swing. The bedroom was a comfortable space with plenty of space for your clothing. We slept blissfully every night. There are some tight height spots in the house. I am 5’5” and managed to not hit my head going up the stairs, but I did hit my head on the ceiling when I took a peak into the loft & multiple times in the shower. I’m a small build; I can’t imagine how much larger people could shower in that confined space. We would have loved it if the TV had antennae capability so we could have seen the local news/weather. The upstairs was pretty warm. It's apparently managed by a unit that is in the loft. The loft felt like the temp at which it was set, but the bedroom did not. The ceiling fan offset the difference & helped keep us comfortable. There are a lot of cobwebs & wasp nests on the front porch. One of those wasps wound up in the bedroom. We were surprised those weren’t cleaned up before our arrival. Parking worked out for us as there did not seem to be anyone in one of the spots by us, but if every property was occupied, you would have a hard time fitting a vehicle into each parking spot. Also, my husband commented throughout our stay that he found the couch to be very hard & uncomfortable.While we do have some “complaints,” I want to make it clear that we truly did have a nice stay. Some of these issues are not changeable. To me, the biggest issue is the cobweb/wasp nest issue that could have easily been appropriately addressed ahead of time. For a quick getaway for just the 2 of us, it was a perfect place to stay.

We are somewhat “larger” than the average people. Translation-I’m a tall fat guy lol. The bathroom/ shower situation was far too cramped for us. Secondly, the A/C upstairs wasn’t working properly. So again with me being a tall fat guy..... that was an issue! Beside those things, the overall stay was peaceful and beautiful!
