I’ve been coming to Puerto Rico several times a year for 20 yrs now and this has to be one of my top two favorite rentals of all time now. The other being on the other side in culebra, lol It is spotless, roomy, fantastic location and so well maintained/ equipped. It has literally everything you need plus more. It was the little touches that won me over and I could tell these owners take great pride in committing to your enjoyment and relaxation. The resident pets were so cute and being right on the beach was exactly what I was looking for and away from the masses. There was a problem with my week long reservation because of construction issues(?) and I wasn’t made aware til the night before I was flying out, but John helped me find another unit and I only stayed two nights here at Parrots Nest. My only regret was not being able to stay longer and was so SAD I had to move. I completely understand them not wanting to risk the peace of their customers vacation and I feel that this shows what great hosts they really are. I don’t think I would have picked the alternative rental I had to move to, but I really didn’t have enough time to start the research over as I was traveling and it was Xmas Eve, so it’ll do. But, It’s just not the same and not the vibe I was so looking forward to being around. I highly recommend this lovely rental. Great for friends, small families and couples too. You won’t regret it and I just hope I can one day be able to come back for a longer stay.

Parrots Nest is Paradise!!

We stayed at this fabulous VRBO for one week. It was nothing short of pure paradise! John the host is awesome, very responsive and helpful! The place was immaculate! The furniture and beds are super comfortable. There were so many extra amenities that made our stay luxurious, from the top of the line hair dryer and plush towels, to the shampoo and body wash dispensers and even sunscreen! The kitchen is state of the art gourmet with chef's knives and good quality cookware. There was even a juicer for that fresh squeezed deliciousness that makes a vacation special. Beach chairs, beach towels and coolers were there for our convenience which was much appreciated that we didn't have to buy them. The master bedroom has a huge private closet and dressing area with full length mirrors and a sitting area with a couch. The location of this house is perfect! It sits on a quiet private beach area in a neighborhood in Aguada and when the tide is out we could walk the beach to Rincon. The sunsets are unbelievable and the breeze off of the ocean is constant. The sound of the waves of Mother Ocean creates a sense of serenity like no other. The animals were welcomed surprises - this quaint farmette has roosters, chickens, hens, ducks & parrots not to mention the cats and the infamous Moso the dog. He was an absolute pleasure- a very friendly gentle giant who hung out with us and made us smile. The kind caretaker treated us with fresh coconuts and passion fruit. We will definitely be back!!!!
