Your access to the Superior Hiking Trail, Lutsen Ski Resort, Gitchi-Gami State Bike Trail, Superior National Golf Course and multiple inland lakes and rivers is really a wonderful trait of what Boreal Ridge has to offer. The owners have put great care into furnishing and outfitting the home with everything that you'll need, not to mention it has such a welcoming vibe overall. Enjoy the huge deck, the screen porch, the wood burning stove on those chilly nights and being immersed in a comforting wooded setting.

Secluded but close to town

Beautiful views of Lake Superior, secluded but close to town. House was very clean and well cared for. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful Home, Beautiful Location

This home was the perfect destination for our group of 7 adults. The location was great for easily getting to waterfall hikes and ice cream in Grand Marais. The comfort of the home, amazing views, and wonderful kitchen/great room also made it fun to cook at home, play games, and relax.

Very Welcome Respite

Peaceful well kept home in the middle of 6 acres of forest and 2 miles from Grand Marias. Beautiful deck with a magnificent view of Lake Superior. Couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you for sharing g your beautiful home.

Beautiful family home close to everything we love on the North Shore!

The house was great for our group of 8. Easy, quick jaunt to Grand Marais and convenient to nearby state parks, Gunflint Trail and even the Canadian border. We had one of the hottest weeks of the summer but the lack of a/c didn't dampen our enjoyment. Plenty of fans to circulate air and evenings still get cool. Great place and we'd recommend it to others!

Great stay in Grand Marais

What a great home for a north shore adventure! Beautiful quiet location. Convenient to town, the shore, and the gunflint trail. The home is well-equipped and very comfortable. The hammock on the deck quickly became a favorite spot! Linda is a great host and communicator. We have also stayed at her Lutsen home. Highly recommend! (Just remember yoyr bug spray... this is a wooded area and north shore mosquitos dont mess around!)

Boreal Ridge Get Away

The views from the deck look over woods onto Lake Superior. Very calming and relaxing. Spent much time in the comfortable Adirondack chairs and had meals on the picnic table. Inside was spacious for the seven of us - 3 couples and a friend. The kitchen layout worked well, and the appliances were up to date. Plenty of dishes and cookware. Beds were very comfortable for us. Up in the loft there was extra space to spread out with books and games. There was an open concept downstairs and the whole place was just great. All of us mentioned we would love to come back again. So many things to do in the area. We are avid hikers and also rented canoes one day to enjoy Rose Falls. If you don't want to cook in the fabulous kitchen, Grand Marais is close by with many choices. We would highly recommend Boreal Ridge for your stay. Thank you Linda.

Beautiful View, No Baby Equipment at All

This home has a beautiful view, but we were charged full price for an infant just as if she were an adult. The home did not provide a Pack and Play or other sleeping place for the infant, but it did have beds for the older ones. The home did not have a high chair or anywhere for the baby to eat, although there was a dining table for the rest of our group. Charging full price for an infant without providing a place for the baby to sleep or eat does not reflect well on the owners or VRBO. The screens on doors and windows fit snugly. It is no fault of the owners' that the mosquitos were thick. Prepare to bring DEET or other effective repellent. The kitchen was well appointed, and Grand Marais has three grocery stores.
