The house was clean and roomy, but communication with the host was sometimes hit or miss. It took 4 days for him to tell us where to find extra towels (in a locked closet), which we badly needed. Communication improved toward the end of our stay. The kitchen was fairly well stocked but without hotpads, and only one small trivet, no salt and pepper. Overall the stay was good but a few things could be addressed.

We stayed in early October for a girls trip. Location was convenient. House was perfect for what we needed. Jonathan was very accommodating to our needs. He has a nice big driveway to park your car.

Great experience

The house was very clean and the host was very accommodating. The backyard and outdoor shower were amazing. We throughly enjoyed our stay.

Lovely Home with Owner on Site

The home was well kept, well stocked, and the interior was exactly as pictured. When we arrived, we were confused to see a vehicle in the driveway and package on the porch but then quickly met Jonathan who showed up shortly after as he lives in the garage. Jonathan was very friendly but it caught us off guard as a group of women to know a man would be staying on property while there. An unpictured camper is in the back yard and garage had a window view into the yard so we did not spend time out there. Again, space itself was lovely, but we would not have booked knowing owner would be present and doing yard work during our stay.

The perfect stay

This was our first time visiting the Charleston area and found this property perfect for what we needed. There was plenty of room for six guests. The host Jon was super friendly and very accommodating. The house was clean and the all the mattresses were very comfortable. The location is perfect whether you’re going to Folly beach or downtown. The fact that it was pet friendly was a life saver. We would definitely rent again.

Wonderful home close to everything!

Stayed with grown kids and grandkids. Super clean and spacious home with fenced back yard. 12 min from folly beach. 12 min from downtown Charleston. Great neighborhood! Jonathan was super easy to work with and the home was exactly as described. We will definitely be back!

Jonathon was a great and very accommodating host and the location was perfect! We would have given our stay there a 10/10 but due to some uncleanliness issues inside and outside from past guests, an unkept looking backyard, and an old camper in the backyard (the photos of the property showed a small shed, not a camper) caused us to need to lower our review.

James Island - Charleston Visit

Great accommodations and a great location. Easy drive into Charleston or Folly Beach. Extremely close restaurants and other amenities. Jonathon was a great host, we had everything we needed. Highly recommend, would stay here again.

Short trip with family

Jonathon's place was great for us, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The house is in a walkable neighborhood, close to restaurants, the beach, and downtown. Thank you for an enjoyable visit!

Great Home on James Island

I live locally in Charleston and rented this home for my parents and family that where down for my wedding. The location is perfect, we were ten minutes from Folly Beach and only 10-ish minutes from downtown. The house has lost of living space and the beds are all very comfy. But my favorite part was the swing on the tree in the backyard.

Great spot for family trip

Had a great stay at the home, was great location, central to everything, and the host Jonathon was great. He allowed us to drop some things off and change at the house when we had a last minute change of plans and arrived a couple hours early of check in and he was very attentive during the stay and made sure everything was great. Hope to be back in further if available.

Perfect Spot

We were in Charleston for a wedding with 2 adult children. The location was great, convenient to James Island, Folly Beach, and downtown Charleston. The house was clean and inviting, beds comfy, and there were no strange rules! We'd definitely stay again.

Great layout and yard!

This house is very clean, comfortable, and cute with a great inside layout with a spacious living area with a large comfy sectional and huge tv. The outdoor shower is amazing, super spacious and private. LOVE having double doors to a patio from the master bedroom! The fenced in yard is private and was perfect for my dog. The host Jonathan stays in a separate unit on the property and is super welcoming and helpful! When I arrived, a bag with a bottle of wine fell out of my car and not only did he help me clean up, he surprised me by getting me a replacement bottle and leaving it by my door. He also offered his tools and help while me and my dad were trying to change the brake light in my car. He is very communicative and goes out of his way to be a stellar host. I highly recommend staying here!

Family trip to visit family

Lovely place to stay really handy location for us as are family live just around the corner. Also a great location with Charleston and Folly Beach a short drive away
