The Space:
Situated on the corner of Whitaker St. and Congress Ln and above Flock to the Wok restaurant, this second-floor apartment boasts beautiful touches like original hardwood floors, an updated kitchen, chic and comfortable furniture, and space for up to four guests.
Enter the apartment through the private entrance to the right of Flock the Wok. Through the apartment doors, you will enter the main space that features an open concept from the kitchen to the living room. High ceilings with oversized windows fill the room with natural light.
Enjoy a fully appointed kitchen with all-new appliances, granite countertops, and everything you need to cook during your stay. We have you covered with pots, pans, kitchen utensils, and dishware. Brew your morning coffee with the coffee provided.
In the living room, unwind and relax on the oversize sofa and two reading chairs. A new smart TV and high-speed WIFI are ready to stream your favorite shows after a day of exploring.
Finally, on the primary floor, you will find a stackable washer and dryer in the closet for your use and a powder room with a toilet and pedestal sink.
Follow the long staircase to the third floor, where two ensuites boast private bathrooms. Both ensuites are outfitted with new comfortable queen mattresses wrapped in crisp linens and plush pillows, providing a perfect place to rest. Closets and dressers provide ample storage for extended stays.
The bathrooms feature a shower/tub combination in one and the other with a low-entry shower. Both bathrooms are outfitted with essentials, including towels, toilet paper, shampoo, body wash, and a hair dryer.
Are you working remotely during your stay? Our WIFI supports video conferencing and multi-tasking to get the job done.

Your downstairs neighbor, Flock the Wok, provides a stylish environment with incredible Asian food ranging from seafood wok, dumplings, noodles, and more.
Continue to explore all of the flavors Savannah has to offer; all just steps from the Loft. Enjoy French-inspired dishes at Circa 1875, grab a traditional southern dish at The Lady & Sons, or crack a few oysters at Sorry Charlie’s Oyster Bar. Breakfast is easy and delicious by checking out Treylor Park Diner or the Little Duck Diner.
Enjoy Savannah's incredible nightlife with a stop in the Peacock Lounge, Totally Awesome Bar, Jens’s and Friends, Moon River Brewing, and many more. Transport to London by stopping into Six Pence Pub, a British-inspired pub, or bring out your inner Irish with a stop into O’Connell’s Irish Pub.

Getting around is easy with walkable streets, bike rentals, and Uber service. Jump on Savannah’s public transit system with the Whitaker and Broughton WB stop just a 1-minute walk from the loft.

There's a FREE shuttle (DOT) that picks up almost right outside your doorstep on Whitaker! This is a free "trolley" style bus that circles around the Historic District and stops at a lot of attractions. Additionally, there is The Downtowner which is a City-ran "uber" just download the app and they will pick you up for free! Aside from that, we recommend using Uber/Lyft to get where you need. If you find free parking near the apartment, stay there! You can walk to just about anything in the City! :)

Great Spot

We had a great time in Savannah, in large part because of the location of the apartment and proximity to the river and downtown. The only thing I would say is that because of how close it is to everything, it can be very noisy at night. It's the price to pay for staying where the action is, but we would stay here again for sure--great location and clean/safe place, and the property owners seem to be good people who are very easy to work with.

Great location but…

This property was absolutely beautiful, centrally located, and communication with the property managers was very good. The only warning I would have if you choose to stay at this property is to be aware that it is over a bar called the Peacock which is fairly popular, from what we could tell, and has some loud clientele. Also, once the bars shut down (around 2-3AM), SCCMP, will come around with their squad cars and BLAST a recording through their loudspeakers demanding that people “PLEASE DISPERSE”. If you love to party this place is for you!!! If you like to sleep, be warned.
