Relax with your family at this peaceful place to stay. On the shore of Kootany Lake just outside of Nelson. Close to all amenities, 20 minutes to skiing in the winter, and just steps to our private beach. The toys are there for you to share, use at your own risk of course. Time to get away, relax at the beach.

The location is wonderful. We were visiting for a mountain bike guys trip and enjoyed our stay. It's a little ways out of town, and we had to drive to all trail systems outside of Svoboda, but that would have needed to happen just about anywhere we stayed. The hosts live on the property and were very helpful, friendly and really made us feel welcome.

Absolutely thrilled with location and access to private beach along with kayaks, paddle boards very convenient. The atmosphere was tranquil. Comfortable beds and a well equipped kitchen and utilization of the BBQ.

Property was what we needed. Clean and in a great location. The water toys were a huge hit. We were able to go canoe on the water and catch some fish.

Beautiful spot! Hard to beat. Nice and peaceful. Great location with an amazing view. Shelley is an excellent host who is a great communicator. Great layout for a family vacation. The beach toys were a real hit with the kids and made it a very fun spot for them to be. Played for hours in the water.

Perfect spot!

Shelley’s place is in an absolutely beautiful location super close to Nelson. With 3 couples, this setup worked perfectly with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. We loved sitting on the deck bird watching and hope to be back in the summertime to swim and enjoy that beach!

Great beach front property

My coworkers stayed here for a few nights while in town for business. There was some noise on the first night that was resolved by contacting the host. My coworkers appreciated the easy waterfront access and being able to go for a swim each morning and evening. The deck with BBQ and spacious living area were great. The kitchen was well stocked with kitchenware and dishes, and a big fridge. Although the dishwasher didn't seem to be working. The bed configuration wasn't exactly as we hoped, so we ended up getting a hotel room for 2 of the 5 guests who planned on staying. They needed more privacy. One of the bedrooms with 2 single beds didn't have a door, and opened to the dining/living area. The layout would probably work well for a family though. Thanks to the host for great consistent communication and fast responses. We would likely book this (downstairs of a) house again for future work trips, knowing that it would be suitable for 3 guests.

We bought this property for the cottage feel, amazing views and the beauty of the lake and bites of the mountains. We want to share this beautiful place with our guests. We got married here on this property overlooking the lake just this summer.

We are located at the end of the street. Nestled on the side of a mountain and we have the private beach for just our two duplexes.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Beach front. We are right on the shore of Kootenay lake. Or most recent guest has friends across the lake and they were able to visit by boat.
