Villa Verde - Tres Habitaciones Casa, Capacidad 8

Nuestra Villa Verde de 3 dormitorios y 3 baños (para 6-8) está rodeada de exuberante vida vegetal: bambú rojo, plátanos, palmeras, buganvillas y helechos. Las plantas y los árboles ayudan a aislar los ruidos de la ciudad, y los cantos de los pájaros durante el día y los coquís por la noche te hacen sentir como si estuvieras en el campo, al mismo tiempo, a solo una cuadra de la playa.

Villa Verde es una casa de 3 dormitorios / 3 baños con dos grandes terrazas y un gran espacio para familiares y amigos. Dispone de aire acondicionado.
La calle en la que se encuentra la propiedad está cerrada en un extremo, por lo que casi no hay tráfico. Una pared a lo largo de la acera asegura aún más la privacidad, la seguridad y la tranquilidad, y también proporciona un estacionamiento seguro fuera de la calle para un automóvil. En la propiedad en sí hay una gran cantidad de plantas y árboles, y esto tiene el efecto de convertirlo en un pequeño oasis para pájaros y una multitud de coquí, una pequeña rana arbórea casi invisible a la vista (es del tamaño de un pequeño uña).

We had a fantastic time!

The place was great - a short walk to the beach, a stocked kitchen, and a bathroom for each bedroom. They had loads of towels for the beach as well as the bathrooms. We were so happy they had flashlights for the power outage. We were able to find cafes, grocery and fish markets in walking distance that had generators.

Convenient location, nice backyard

We had a great stay in San Juan at this property. The backyard has nice plants and a table where you can sit outside and enjoy the birds and frogs (!) We used Uber and getting around the city was convenient. It was nice to be in a neighborhood to get the feel of San Juan.

Gated-community property was safe & provided all we needed. Unfortunately nearby park was closed but there were many walking options for food & shopping in area. Beach also accessible although rougher surf conditions during our stay. All good!

Best place ever

Out of all the places we have stayed in, this is the very best one yet. If you are looking for privacy and comfort, this is the place. The neighborhood is great, there was a couple of roosters and chickens just walking around but that made it a sweet experience. there is no issue with parking and the neighbors were all quiet. It is less than 20 minutes from the airport, the location is very convenient. The beach is about a 10 minutes away by walking. we were there for 8 days and having 3 bathrooms with 5 people was a great amenity. We didn't have to go out to eat if we did not want to, there is a BBQ you can use out back and enjoy the property. Judith and Tania are always available to answer any questions and made the process very smooth and pleasant. I am definitely using this property from now on and recommending it to all my friends.

Beware…Property not as pictured.

There are some things you should definitely be aware of before booking this property. Cons: The electricity is unreliable and the water is as well. 6ish hours without power and 24 hours without water. There are two bedrooms that are attached meaning you have to walk through one to get to the other. One of the bathrooms has a glass door with a sheer curtain. You can see the person sitting on the toilet if you walk by at the right time. Roof leaks when it rains. Beware your stuff may get wet. Pros: The house was well stocked. You have everything you need. We did not feel unsafe but our Uber driver told us we should not walk down to the beach at night, however, we did anyways when our power was out and we did not have any problems at the beach or around the neighborhood. Overall, I would not book this property again.

Regarding the power and water outages, Puerto Rico has unfortunately faced some infrastructure challenges following Hurricane Maria, and the rebuilding process is ongoing. While power reliability has improved, occasional outages can still occur and may temporarily impact water services as well. This is part of life on the island, and we work hard to provide our guests with the best possible stay despite these occasional inconveniences. In terms of the room layout, Villa Verde does feature a design where one bedroom is accessible through another. However, guests also have the option to use a private patio entrance for added privacy and ease of access to other areas of the home. The issue you mentioned regarding rainwater entry was isolated to a specific area, and we have since taken care of it to ensure the comfort and security of our guests. We’re pleased to hear you felt safe and well-stocked during your stay. If you decide to return to Puerto Rico, we’d love the opportunity to welcome you to one of our other properties, which offers a variety of layouts and amenities to better meet your preferences. Clean, quiet, and great for families

We came with 3 generations, including a toddler, and this adorable house was perfect for the group. It was clean, spacious, and quiet, which is particularly important when traveling with little kids who go to bed early and need to nap during the day. If you are looking to stay in the heart of the city surrounded by nightlife, this is probably not the place for you, but there are a few restaurants within walking distance, a 10min walk to the closest beach, and a quick car ride to everything else. It was unclear what the relationship was between the hosts, who live nearby, and the management company, that handles check in and payment, but the hosts are lovely and extremely helpful. Only one criticism: in general, the check-in/access/key situation could use some improvement. In total, there are five different keys for the various locks required to get in and out of the unit. Then there is a sixth key, stored elsewhere, for leaving the gated community on foot. Otherwise, you must enter and exit through the communities main entrance several blocks away. Once we learned about the pedestrian key access was much more convenient. And make sure you have cell reception for check-in otherwise you will not be able to receive the initial access code. Even with cell reception it took several phone calls to be granted access, ultimately getting us in about an hour after check-in. Inconvenient but a minor hiccup given the rest of the stay was so wonderful.

Localizacion

El sitio lo recomiendo mucho todo estaba muy limpio y organizado, en la cocina tenian lo basico para cocinar. La casa es grande super comoda bien cerca del aeropuerto y playas. Siempre tuve una excelente cominucacion . Muchas gracias

It did the job. Would have been nice to have running water :(

The residence was a little difficult to get to because the directions that were provided and Google maps aren't up to date. We spent about an hour driving around to figure out how to get to the residence. When we got there, the arrangement of the beds was extremely awkward. The master was in between two other rooms which made it difficult for my partner and me to have privacy. One of the air conditioners in one of the rooms did not work. However, to top it off the water shut off in the residence 3 times while we were staying there because of a plumbing issue. I contacted the residence manager several times about the issue and it was rather difficult to get in contact with her. When I finally did get in contact with her, she provided me with two jugs of water for the 5 people in our stay to shower with. She didn't offer another place to stay even a discounted rate for the inconvenience. So my group literally paid to shower with cold water from a jug lol. Overall it wasn't the worst place I've stayed in but I definitely wouldn't stay again.

Our stay was fine. The ID requirements for all the guests were excessive and pointless - I almost cancelled the reservation rather than put up with them. You might also want to provide a few more basic condiments like salt and pepper.

The house is perfect for a family or group of friends to stay at, the location is good and a short uber ride from pretty much anything you'd want to do around San Juan as well as the airport.

Quirky fun, spacious & cozy, stocked kitchen, wifi not great

Our group of 6 loved this home as we stayed several weeks. There is a lot of various places to sit and hangout all over the property. Fair warning though, the wifi is super bad. If only staying briefly or not needing wifi much then you're good. The stray cats that linger outside daily are annoying but harmless. Sometimes it was confusing who fro Marco Polo we were needing to communicate with as many were involved. They were always prompt to help though. The kitchen is stocked really well with everything you need and more, and with some snacks/basic food upon arrival. Beds were nice, 3 clean bathrooms, and restful outdoor space.

Too much paper work

I was hassled about information which I already gave them through vrbo, plus they needed ID before I could finalize anything. Thered gates that are locked off so you have to go through the back bedroom to get to one of the nice outside areas. The project slum is right across the street so I get the extra security.

Perfect stay!

We had a wonderful time staying in Ocean Park last week. six adults fit comfortably with plenty of amenities. The best part was having three bathrooms! You never find those at a rental! I had a bedroom which opened onto the patio and also had doors to the backyard. It was beautiful! The owners left some welcome snacks and it was so kind and a lovely touch after traveling most of the day.

Great location and clean, spacious house!

Great open floor plan with well appointed kitchen. There owners left a nice bag of local coffee and a small bottle of local rum. Fresh eggs and some beers in the fridge. Very welcome after a long trip. Perfect location with added to the beach, city and beyond. Thanks!

Beautiful Villa Verde Villa

Our stay at the villa just what the doctor ordered. Our group of 6 (3 adults and 3 teenage kids) all slept comfortable in the spacious house. The air conditioning was a nice treat, as well as the Jacuzzi. We very much appreciated the "starter" food amenities. With our late arrival, it was nice to have some food readily available. The property was very well maintained and clean. We really enjoyed being in a gate residential community, that was quiet and well kept. We appreciated very much the beach supplies that were in the shed outside. We enjoyed the local cats dropping by for a visit, as well as all the little reptiles that shared the space. Beach was easily accessible, clean and close. The owners provided excellent care throughout our stay in villa. Thank you for sharing this wonderful place with us, and we look forward to staying again!

Simply lovely

Great vacation home. Very clean and it had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. The location was also perfect! Close to airport and all the hotspots in San Juan. We very much enjoyed our stay and will definitely rent again!

Past This One By

We were in shock as to the location of this property. One has to travel through graffiti saturated streets and low income housing to reach this property. The street to the address were full of potholes and dirty. Once there, we were met by John and his wife who stated the electricity had gone out that morning. My guests did not want to get out of the car! We decided to go grab some lunch and upon our return found the electricity had come back. The kitchen is in dire need of updates and small. The photos showed a beach a block away when in reality it was much longer (5 blocks). Unfortunately, we felt more comfortable spending our week away from the house and regret reserving this home. Truly one to stay away from!!

Perfect for a girls trip

This place was perfect for 5 thirty-something women! We were met by a member of John's staff who greeted us and made sure we were settling in okay, she even helped us make reservations at an upscale restaurant (we had an awesome table!) and gave us a tour of the house. When we needed help with transportation, they were there and arranged all our cars to/from the airport. Super communicative - when you're in a foreign country (okay, territory) that goes a long way! There are 3 bathrooms, no one ever had to wait on anyone. And the rooms are spacious. This isn't the Ritz-Carlton, sure, but it's all serviceable and in a good area for walking to the beach. We really enjoyed the people and the quiet street. Walk to ocean park beach is about 10 minutes, beds were comfortable, everything worked fine. The only issue is that parking for a rental car, if you don't want to park it on the street, is very tight...but you can do it!
