Black Swan- Well-kept Intown Home with Ocean Views
Black Swan is a well-maintained, in-town home with panoramic views of Stonington’s thoroughfare. Enjoy the changing scenery of the working waterfront throughout the day, as lobster boats, sailboats, schooners and other vessels work the waterways.
Black Swan is a ranch style home with all the living areas on one easy-to-maneuver level. The home is bright and airy with a full wall of windows looking toward the sights of the harbor.
Black Swan has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The home has a open plan with a large and well-equipped kitchen, a living room area and a formal dining section. The living room is comfortably furnished with a sofa and two chairs. There is no television at Black Swan but the homeowner provide a high speed internet connection which makes streaming and browsing easy. The dining area has seating for six and enjoys large views of the harbor. The home has a lovely fireplace that is just decorative and is not available for use.
Black Swan’s first bedroom has a twin bed, a closet and a dresser. The second bedroom has two twin beds, a closet and a dresser. The third bedroom is a master suite with a king bed and a private bathroom. Black Swan has a large ocean view deck, a laundry room with a washer and dryer in place. There is a paved driveway where the charcoal grill is set up and a garage bay available to the tenant.
Black Swan is a spacious home in a great village setting, perfect for your Maine vacation.

Beautiful Stay w/ Lovely Views Near Town
My sister and I had a great stay at the Black Swan! It was convenient to wake up and be able to pop into town for a coffee or breakfast and head back to the spot for the spectacular views. The place had everything we needed. Would stay again!

The Black Swan—- Comfort, cleanliness, walking distance to town, and glorious views of Penobscot Bay all at my fingertips.
.The Black Swan offers me so much as it has become “my home away from home.” Having grown up in Stonington, the ability to walk downtown, entertain family members in the home’s spaciousness and view a working waterfront on Penobscot Bay is better than a five star hotel.
Clearly the owners take pride in providing comfort for clients. For eight years, during my week’s stay, there is always something new added to the Black Swan’s decor which adds to its charm. Recently a new roof, window blinds and fresh deck paint were evident that this home is truly cared for.
Many amenities are provided and one just needs to stock the refrigerator as all appliances work well, and the furniture is tastefully arranged for entertaining, if one wishes to do so.
The deck furniture beckons one to grab a book among those on the shelves or just daydream while viewing the islands in the bay.
The open-ness of the kitchen, dining room and living room has been ideal for our family pot-luck dinners. This home clearly meets all of my needs.

HOUSE RULES NO SMOKING! No large parties or gatherings! No fire pits unless advertised and included.
CANCELLATION POLICY All cancellations must be in writing (email is acceptable) and received by the Agent. Cancellations may only be made between the date that a reservation deposit is received and a date determined to be 45 days prior to the Guests’ scheduled arrival date. Cancellations within 45 days of arrival will not result in a refund in whole or part of rental funds received. If a cancellation is made prior to 45 days of arrival, the Agent shall make a good-faith effort to re-rent the property at the published rate for the reserved rental term. No refund of rents paid will be made until the cancelled period is re-rented and confirmed. If the cancelled period is re-rented, any rent and taxes paid will be refunded less a $100 administrative fee. If the new rental amount is less than the published rate, any difference in rental rate will be deducted from the rental returned to the tenant. If the unit is not re-rented, all rental funds paid, processing fees and taxes shall be forfeited as damages. This cancellation policy is strictly followed. Guests are encouraged to purchase travel insurance for all vacations to cover many situations that may arise which might cause one to cancel vacation plans. Life happens and we don’t want you to lose your deposit. There are many independent insurance providers available to tenants. I understand that the insurance company holds this policy and that The Island Agency does not determine eligibility of claims.
