The Tranquil Haven Cottage has many memories, a 4 generation farm in the country, the owners great grandfather and son farmed the property. This house is has many amenities, bringing a pet is a luxury as it has a built in dog pen. There is lots of land surrounding the house for kids and dogs to play in the fenced in area for pets and lots of parking space, come see this beautiful country setting near Kangaroo Lake and the Coyote Road House and a tenth of a mile from P.C Junction where the great spot for kids, food on a train. You will love the peace and tranquility of this home. Watch the beautiful sunsets from the deck with sitting arrangements, you will love the tranquility of this beautiful house and setting

Lovely country setting and close to good restaurants in Bailey's Harbor. The house is very comfortable and clean. The bonus was having a fenced yard for our golden retriever. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful property that was perfect for a long weekend with family. The dogs enjoyed running around in the fenced in dog run, and the house was cozy while having plenty of space. Location was great as you are close to the activities in both Egg Harbor or Baileys Harbor. Communication with Sharon was excellent. We will return if we are able to!

The location was perfect for going to various areas of Door County. Our doggy loved having some freedom in the fenced in area. Sharon was very welcoming and wonderful to have available if any questions arose.

The Farm

Our stay was great! The farm is perfect location to explore Door County. We had a great time and Sharon was very informative and helpful. Lots of room and extremely comfortable. We can’t wait to return!

House was very clean and Sharon was welcoming and accommodating. We brought our dog so appreciated the fenced in area. Centrally located so easy drive to all areas of interest.

Sharon, the property manager, was readily available for questions and needs. She gave us some good pointers on things to do, and restaurants. The fenced in area for dogs was great. We loved seeing the history of the farm on the walls. Also it was spacious enough for everyone, and two dogs. The house was well supplied with towels , sheets etc. it was very peaceful and enjoyable.

Great place

The property was perfect for a family including our small dogs . Great location - out in the quiet country but not far away from everything we wanted to see and do . The property manager stays connected throughout the renting process . Would recommend to friends and family for anyone traveling to Door County

Beautiful Door County

Sharon was the best. She was a great host — very warm and welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable. The property is beautiful. The house is very clean and comfortable. It is also very close to downtown Baileys Harbor. It was a great stay. I can’t wait to go back!

Very well supplied and clean place to stay. Wonderful location to many of our favorite places. We liked that it was dog friendly and had a fenced in area for the dog. Water pressure in this farmhouse was excellent for showers. Table had multiple extender boards so we could have game nights on a larger table. Kitchen and laundry appliances were all of good quality and worked well. Being away from the busier parts of town, made for good star gazing and photos, but close enough to all the towns in the upper portion of door county to go to great restaurants, shops, golf areas and hiking spots. Even close to our favorite orchard (Lautenbach's). Property manager was extremely helpful and communication, check in and check out went smoothly.

We come to Door County for family vacation every year and have stayed at many different places. Tranquil Haven rates as the best we've had. The location was quiet and out of the way yet close to everything. The property is large with plenty of room for the kids to run and play. The fenced in dog area was clutch. The home itself was roomy, comfortable, and very clean. The kitchen was very well appointed. The hostess, Sharon, was very responsive and helpful. We could not have asked for a better place to stay for our family and dogs. We hope to be able to come again.

Country house Baileys Harbor

Location was great. Received too many text messages that were not necessary prior to and during our stay. There were ants in the front entrance room that kept coming out behind TV on tiled floor. We found ant kill under sink to apply daily during our stay.

Peacefully Perfect!

Family vacation with five adults and some doggos. LOVE the fenced in area for the dogs. Allows us to all be outside together and not having to leash them. The location is separated from other homes, which we liked, and is pretty central on the peninsula. We tend to visit Egg Harbor, Fish Creek, Ephraim, Sister Bay and Baileys Harbor so the location allowed us to get to any of them all easily. The home was larger than expected with good size bedrooms and bathrooms making cohabitation easy. You could absolutely fit more people easily. Two bedrooms were upstairs and two were on the main floor. Not an issue for us but perhaps something to be aware of with older folks or young children. Sharon was informative and responsive leaving nothing to question before, during our after our stay. Would absolutely come back for another stay!
