We really enjoyed our stay overall! The house has an incredible view of the night sky—the stars from the deck were absolutely beautiful, and you can hear the peaceful sound of the ocean, which made it so relaxing. It’s also just a short walk to the beach, and the white sand is stunning.The home itself is spacious, comfortably laid out, and decorated in a really cute, welcoming way. The beds were comfortable, and it felt like a great place to unwind.A couple of things to be aware of: you may want to bring extra toilet paper, as only a minimal amount is provided (about one roll per bathroom) & it is the cheap 1 ply rolls. Also, while the house was generally clean, the tub could have been cleaned more thoroughly, and we did find a few used contact lenses left behind on the bunk bed from previous guests. We also did see one roach during our stay, but it was only one, and it looked like the owners are taking steps to prevent pests.Host are easy to get ahold of if you have an issue & are eager to fix a problem ASAP. Check in & check out was easy :)Overall, this is a lovely place in a beautiful location. With a little more attention to cleaning and supplies, it would easily be a 5-star stay!

Great stay!

Took my family of five to Pensacola for a quick pre-college trip. We had a blast! House was the perfect size for five adults with plenty of space for all of us. We would rent again for sure. Second time renting through Vacasa and it was another great experience! Thanks, Vacasa!

Awesome Stay

It was a great week. The house was great for the 6 of us. It was a little worn but decorated very nicely. The walk to the beach was right around the sidewalk. It was close enough to restaurants and mini golf but a few miles down the beach so the beach wasnt crowded.

Annual friends trip

Pics need updating. Lots of disappointments. Hair in leaking fridge, sand and hair in master bed, door to stinky garage left open (unlatched), bikes locked up with no instructions, beach service chairs were broken. We took lots of pics, but will not be handling it here.

Sunday Wedding

My daughter & I stayed here for my cousins wedding & 50th birthday party. Loved the slow pace of the area, how the streets have ZERO traffic, and the morning birds are in the distance. The only thing I would change would be the bikes. If they could have a couple of gears so that getting around is a little quicker, rather than no gears.

Check in was easy, beautiful house. A little deceiving with the picture. We thought we would have access to the garage, to get out if the rain. We did not. Two trash bags for a 7 day stay. Dried soap bar was still on the ledge of bathtub. Bathrooms smaller than they look on line. Margaritaville blender was broken. Beds were comfortable. 400 steps to beach was nice. Was not given a code to unlock bikes. Had to go online and fill out a 3 page waiver. When I got the code, it was wrong. Had to call the company to get a correct code. Refrigerator leaks water into the inside and freezes. Would not return to stay again.

Thanksgiving beach house

Loved it. We bought a new coffee pot (and left it there) because yours didnt work. Could have used more counter space (maybe a small island) in the kitchen. We bought new batteries for two of the TV remotes as there were none. We killed 3 cockroaches...very very gross!!! There are no screens on most windows...this was a problem for us. Also...how about a fire pit?? We noticed the garage below was not locked. Was this on purpose? Overall...about 8.5/10. Thankyou.

Rude, unsafe, ridiculous

On arrival day was involved in accident, which affected my arrival time by 11 minutes, when I realized I was going to be late, I contacted management company to which their response was “ you’re lying”, I provided pics of me on a stretcher, driver license placed next to the crash report, to which the man arrogantly responded, my bad, I’m sorry, I will make arrangements for you to pick up key. Upon arrival, my son and his friend were carrying luggage up stairs when the stair snapped and he fell through. It was a horrible sight to which we looked around and realized there were some steps replaced with new wood, but some that were completely dry rotted. (Pics available). I left message with mgt company but heard nothing until Sunday morning.

During Spring Break, at 4:45 pm the day of check in, the renter did not show up to pick up keys. Instead an 18 year old boy contacted us by phone claiming that the adult who had rented the home had been involved in a car accident, would not be available to pick up the keys, and that he instead wanted us to give him the keys without security deposit or identification. We told him no and that we needed the responsible adult who rented the home to contact us. We established contact with the 1 adult renter (who rented to 10 underage kids - we have this on security video) and provided them keys. We stand behind our policy of not renting to underage persons no matter what rating they want to give us in retribution afterward because we want to protect our home and investment from abuse and fraud.

Graduation trip

We visited for my nieces high school graduation and made it a mini vacation We had a blast house was great nice and roomy for 4 teenagers and 3 adults Location is a fantastic, just a 2 min walk to beach with really nice sidewalk to get there. Had 2 bikes provided to us and my teenagers loved taking bikes down to shops enjoying som independence.

Great location

Property is a little dated but location to beach is great! Fit our 4 adults and 4 preteens perfectly. Back patio perfect for dinner and drinks. Kitchen can use some upgrades. Needs a cutting board, can opener, wine glasses. Overall we enjoyed it!

My family and I have been coming the the area for 10yrs and this house is by far my favorite! The beautiful, bright, clean, fresh look of the house is very welcoming. There is even ocean views from the bedroom and decks. Having a yard was great for the kids. The walk to the beach is very short. If you are new to the area they even have a book with local beaches, places to go and so on. I can't say enough good things about our stay! We will be back!

Clean and Ocean Views

This was my first time renting a house at the beach. I normally rent condos but needed room for family for my son’s wedding, therefore I have no other beach houses to compare to other than the one close by that my son rented through a different company. Over all my stay was pleasant enough. The house was clean, close enough to the beach to have limited ocean views and I could faintly hear the ocean when it was too cool for air conditioners to run. It also came with free beach chair and umbrella set up which I did not realize until half way through my trip. The biggest negative of the house is the bed in the master bedroom. It was so miserably uncomfortable that I did not sleep an entire night the whole trip. One side of the bed has a deep indention/well in it where someone heavy has slept in the same spot for years. Even sleeping on the other side, every time you move or roll over the bed squeaks and makes noise. In my opinion, it was one step above sleeping straight up on an old box springs. The patio door in the master will not slide open either so if you want to sit in bed and enjoy the sounds of the ocean that is very difficult. Additionally, the toaster did not work at all and the coffee pot would only brew 2 cups at a time then shut down...for days. Then it suddenly started working properly. Lastly, the deck is a safety hazard. Some of the rails have come loose and a toddler could easily fall through. The rails on the upper deck wobble. Many of the nails and screw have worked themselves up and someone could easily cut a foot on them. These are liabilities that the owner could repair in an hour with a box of screws. Whoever owns it may wish they had if someone seriously injures themself and sues. It was fine for me, and my grandchildren were only there a day, but I can see it being a problem for someone else. Despite these issues the house isn’t bad though I personally feel it was over priced. I likely would not rent it again mostly due to the uncomfortable bed and the price.

Pick a different house.

We enjoyed Florida but this house fell short in just about everything. We booked it because of its location yes, but also we wanted to cook ourselves with the grill provided. Upon arrival the outside trash can was overflowing, just unappealing. The main door to access the backyard from the kitchen was broken. The grill was broken and the master shower was broken. On the 5th day our electricity was turned off for about 5 hours. We called the property manager on every issue and they did their best to resolve, but I will never book this house again!
