It's worth noting that, for bookings in mid-October, the piers will be temporarily removed for the winter, adding a seasonal touch to the lakeside experience.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Cozy Fitz is a great little cabin on an excellent lake. The view is extraordinary! We have stayed on several other properties throughout the Minocqua-St. Germain-Manitowish Waters area and this was - by far - the most convenient spot for going to restaurants, shops, etc. But it still felt "up north" quiet. I loved that a gallon of milk was a quick drive to Kwik Trip rather than a production to go to town!It was also very cool that two eagles decided to spend their time in the trees right above the cabin. That was really fun to watch.Our only concern is that the lakeside bedroom's bed is tilted a bit toward the lake. It's subtle, but throughout the night, you really start to feel it.

We had a wonderful stay and really enjoyed the property and the dock/water. The eagles are amazing! The city is wonderful. We had a great time. To be able to sit at the kitchen island and look out into the water was bliss.

Cozy Cabin Week

The cozy cabin is perched atop the hillside of Big Arbor Vitae Lake with beautiful views focused towards the lake in a multi-unit condo community. The quarters are quaint with the space wisely utilized and all updated. Our small family of four enjoyed the cabin as a jump point to everything within a 15-20 minute drive. Dips in the lake off the pier and sitting around the gas fire pit made each night complete. We enjoyed our stay in what we called the boat on the water.

Great stay!

We had an amazing time at this property. The water view is amazing from the cabin. If you don’t like algae in the water it may not be for you but we spent every day in the water regardless. Hoping we will be able to make this a tradition coming every summer. Truly the only downfall of this property is not having an actual fire pit for nightly bonfires. Everything else is top notch and a wonderful stay! We will be back!

BEAUTIFUL LOCATION, LAKE NOT SWIMABLE

Very clean, very cozy, very new cabin right on the lake with it's own dock! Unfortunately, while we were there, there was a very significant algae bloom on the lake (looked exactly like pea soup), and we were told not to swim in it. HUGE disappointment as that's specifically why we spent the extra $ to rent on the lake! Not the owner's fault, but just make sure you call ahead to see about the water quality before you make a commitment! It's a lot of $ to spend to not be able to use the lake. Location is crowded with other cabins and yet still private and very quiet. There was no one there during the week so that was great! We just had a few other issues in addition to the water quality. Neither fireplace worked. We were specifically looking forward to enjoying the fire pit on the patio but it would not stay lit. The indoor fireplace would light but not give a full flame. The covers on the wicker chairs around the outdoor fireplace have holes in them so after a couple of big rains the cushions were soaked and not usable. The bathroom exhaust fan does not work. The cottage has been recently remodeled and is so cute. Well stocked and very clean. We will probably not rent here again as now we will be afraid of another algae bloom to ruin our trip. But if you don't care about that, this is a beautiful, peaceful little cabin in the woods with great views of the lake right out your door.

Great cozy cottage

We enjoyed the cottage. However the lakes algae was disappointing. Also one of the beds seemed to be only full sized not 2 queen. Cottage was well stocked. The check out time is ridiculous and expecting us to depart that early is highly disappointing

This property and stay exceeded all expectations. Cleanliness and amenities were top notch. The location and view were great. Having stayed at many cabins in northern Wisconsin, this one certainly stands out and I cannot recommend it enough.

Cozy Holiday Getaway

We truly enjoyed our stay at the "She Shed". It was exactly as described and more. The cabin was updated and clean and had everything we needed. The view from the living room was truly magical and the pier overlooking the lake was peaceful and private. Location was perfect--there was even a delicious supper club within easy walking distance from the cabin too! We would absolutely stay here again in the future.

Absolutely loved the She Shed!

Perfectly clean, well stocked, even had K cups for the KEURIG machine. Stunning views of the lake. We absolutely loved it and can’t wait to come back!!!

Kayaking Tournament

This little cabin was cozy and perfect! Great location overlooking lake. It was very clean, perfect view of the lake and very relaxing. We were greeted by the loons when we arrived and when we left the last evening sitting on the dock watching the sunset. We will be staying again!

Great Long Weekend

This cottage was a great escape from the summer heat. This was a great place to watch the water and enjoy the outdoors. Close to two great biking trails and a lot of good shops within a 30 minute drive in any direction.

July 4th Week Visit

Katie, We enjoyed staying at your place this past week. Sitting on the back deck area was very peaceful. The close proximity to Minocqua was a huge plus. Renting the pontoon was also a very nice experience for our family, especially having it docked on the same property. You probably know there are a pair of eagles that like your property, as well.
