Salty Dawgs is best known for its comfort and functionality by its many repeat guests from previous years. This spacious 2500 heated square foot home has an open floor plan that provides its guest with a spacious and inviting feel which allows for great family time together. Then as you step outside on one of the many decks (2 ocean facing & 2 Intracoastal facing =1300 additional sq ft) you will be greeted by the beautiful Atlantic Ocean on one side and the Intracoastal views/salt marshes on the other. There are many vantage points to relax and enjoy the spectacular views of water that surrounds this lovely home. What more could you ask from a vacation destination? One visit to Salty Dawgs and you will be determined to return for another visit as many others have done so.
The first floor of this home has four lovely bedrooms; each one has a flat screen TV and its own private full bathroom. Also on the first floor is a laundry/mud room (full-size washer/dryer) with direct access out to one of the oceanfront decks where you will find a large bubbling Hot Tub just waiting to provide you with that ultimate relaxation. The two oceanfront bedrooms on this level feature sliding glass doors that provide access out to this deck as well. On the opposite side of this deck from the Hot Tub you will find a Hammock installed and ready for your enjoyment. This deck is outfitted to provide for your total relaxation while on your much needed vacation.
Bedroom 2 is located on the first level (south facing) street side of the home. It is equipped with a pyramid bunk (twin over double- sleeps 3) and a standard bunk (two twins- sleeps 2). This room will sleep 5 comfortably and will be a great spot for the kids to hang out. This room is equipped with a flat screen TV, ceiling fan and a private full bath with tub and shower combination.
Bedroom 3 is located on the first level (north facing) street side of the home. It is equipped with a queen bed, nightstands and lamp, dresser, ceiling fan, flat screen TV and a private full bath with tub and shower combination.
Bedroom 4 is located on the first level (north facing) oceanside of the home. It is equipped with a queen bed, nightstands and lamp, dresser, ceiling fan, flat screen TV and a private full bath with tub and shower combination.
Bedroom 5 is located on the first level (south facing) oceanside of the home. It is equipped with a King bed, nightstands and lamp, dresser, ceiling fan, flat screen TV and a private full bath with tub and shower combination.
The second floor (top level) consists of the living,dining and kitchen and is an open concept, bright and airy with fantastic unobstructed views of the ocean on one side and the sound/salt marshes on the other.
The kitchen is very well equipped with everything needed for basic meal preparations as well as all required major and small countertop appliances. The major appliances are all stainless and include a refrigerator, dishwasher, range/oven combination and a built-in microwave. The small countertop appliances include a coffee pot (Keurig), toaster and blender.The kitchen has custom cabinetry with abundant storage space, solid surface countertops, tile back-splash and a large center island capable of seating 4 additional for dining.
The dining area is surrounded by a wall of windows that will certainly enhance everyone’s dining experience. The views are simply incredible. The large table will seat 10 comfortably with 4 others at the adjacent kitchen bar area. Just outside on the adjacent oceanfront deck is a large table that can be utilized for extra dining for those that prefer to have their meals outside on a beautiful sunny day.
The living room has two sofas (one is a sleeper) as well as comfortable chairs, coffee table, end tables, lamps and a wall mounted 65” flat screen TV. Also included is a house-wide sound system (blue-tooth capable) with recessed speakers in the master bedroom, living area, kitchen, down-stairs hallway, and on the upper deck off living area. WiFi is available throughout the home as well. For your convenience there is a half bath adjacent to this living area. The living room provides direct access out to the oceanfront deck where you will find comfortable seating. This home is designed for your much needed relaxation and entertainment.
Adjacent to the living area is a wonderful master bedroom (Bedroom 1) with a large private bath, glass walk-in shower, free-standing soaking tub and double vanities. This is a wonderful spot to relax as it provides all the necessary conveniences. This bedroom is equipped with a king bed, flat screen TV, night stands and lamps, dresser and ceiling fan. This room also provides direct access out to the oceanfront deck where you will find comfortable seating for enjoying those morning sunrises as it peeks over the horizon.
Salty Dawgs (460 New River Inlet Rd) is the closest rental property to the North Topsail Beach Town Park. The Park includes sand volleyball courts, basketball court, tennis courts, picnic tables, and an expansive children’s play area. There is also a children’s only fishing pier out on the Bay side as well as an area to launch your kayak or paddle board (see aerial view of proximity- only 2-minute walk across street).
