Este condominio de dos dormitorios y dos baños no solo tiene una excelente ubicación, en un tranquilo edificio de 16 unidades, sino que está a una corta distancia a pie o en un corto viaje en taxi a los mejores restaurantes, playas y locales nocturnos que Puerto Vallarta tiene para ofrecer. Puede comenzar su día despertando con una vista de la bahía desde el dormitorio principal. Luego, enciende la cafetera espresso la Pavoni y disfruta de una taza de café en el balcón. Después de disfrutar de la vista, debe decidir si nadar en la piscina climatizada, bajar los escalones a la playa, explorar el viejo Vallarta o no hacer nada y simplemente quedarse en el balcón y leer un libro. Olvidé mencionar que hay una hamaca en el balcón para la siesta requerida por la tarde.

Prepare una comida en la cocina totalmente equipada o la parrilla en el patio o simplemente coma en algunos de los mejores restaurantes de Puerto Vallarta. Después de la cena, vaya a los clubes, camine por el Malecón o relájese en la sala de estar y simplemente mire la televisión por cable en DVD o escuche música en su iPod o CD. Si no tiene ganas de cocinar, podemos organizar un cocinero. Internet inalámbrico está disponible para los huéspedes que desafortunadamente pueden tener que trabajar un poco, responder correos electrónicos para decirles a los amigos lo divertido que se están divirtiendo o simplemente quieren navegar por la web. La mejor parte es que puedes hacer todo esto desde el balcón o en cualquier otro lugar del condominio.

Este condominio / hogar ha sido decorado con un toque mexicano. Si está buscando una experiencia de cadena hotelera, no se moleste en hacer de esta su experiencia de vacaciones. Simplemente sienta pena por aquellos que reservaron su lugar de vacaciones lejos del viejo Puerto Vallarta. A / C en todo el condominio y hay una sala de lavandería si no trajo suficiente ropa. Olvidó su cargador, hay un IGo que carga la mayoría de las computadoras portátiles o cámaras. Preocupado por su pasaporte y dinero, hay una caja fuerte para guardar sus objetos de valor.

El servicio de limpieza dos veces por semana está incluido para una estadía de 2 semanas o más. Podemos organizar un servicio de limpieza más frecuente bajo petición. Podemos organizar un chef local si no tiene ganas de cocinar o salir.

La superficie habitable es de aproximadamente 1,500 pies cuadrados. Hay un rey de California en el dormitorio principal y dos camas dobles en la habitación de invitados.

Tenemos excelentes recomendaciones de restaurantes, aventuras de manejo, pesca / observación de ballenas u otras actividades recreativas. Amamos a Puerto Vallarta y queremos que experimentes lo que conocemos como paraíso.

The condo is beautiful, with an amazing view. It's quiet, comfortable and well-equipped. Kim from PVRPV was efficient , friendly and responsive. We enjoyed eating a few meals next door at the Marcela Resort.

We loved this place! Would definitely stay again. The views are unreal, and the apartment itself is really spacious and beautiful. Clean, comfy and had everything we needed. Everyone we met in the other units were really nice and welcoming. Do note that there are a ton of stairs to get to the beach & back - this wasn’t an issue for us though, if we were feeling lazy we just hopped in a quick uber!

Fantastic escape

We loved our six nights here! Rex had a perfect set up for 2 kids, 2 adults with the main bedroom providing veranda views/access, and the 2nd bedroom with two separate beds and its own bathroom. The pool was lovely, warm, quiet, tended daily, and bigger than pictured. The condo building is quiet, friendly, and clearly upscale. The views are truly stunning, and we loved spotting whales daily. We felt very safe in the neighborhood, walked everywhere, and climbed up and down the stairs at least twice daily (kids counted 280 from our unit to the beachfront). We hired Chef Benjamin for my husband’s birthday dinner, and his food and demeanor were totally worth the splurge! Thanks Rex!

Property is very well maintained. Pool is never busy. Close to lots of restaurants in a fun area. Unit has all you need for a comfortable stay.

Amazing Stay

This place is beautiful. The decor has such a special thought. The host has done an amazing job decorating. The amenities are way too many to list; lots of kitchen essentials, tons of towels, clean and spacious, quiet, outdoor area cleaned daily to include the pool. The pool was never crowded. Just amazing. The walk to the beach was steep with lots of stairs. But if you like to walk like us it's not a problem. Otherwise Taxi and Uber are an option.

We have stayed here before and we are just as satisfied and happy as the first time. The property is excellent - very well appointed, clean, comfort in style, view of ocean and beautiful sunsets from terrace, can walk to town, and quiet (a plus). Kitchen, bedrooms and living space lovely - just as described. Stay in or eat out. We were at poolside every day - residents/guests very nice. Our host is amazing and property manager very available. I highly recommend this property!!

Perfection

This is a beautiful, spotless and spacious condo in a perfect location. An easy 5 -10 minute walk to the bars, restaurants and beach and a good workout if you choose to walk back (last 1/4 mile or so is a hill with a steeper finish or a long flight of stairs.) Uber is an option. (Quick and approx. $5 USD from the beach.) The condo is immaculate, tastefully furnished and has absolutely anything you would need. The pool is beautiful, clean and larger than what it looked like in the photos IMHO. The terrace is huge and is a great place to have coffee before it gets too hot or look at the stars. An OXXO (like a 7-11) is a short walk away for the 3 B's (bread, beer & bottled water.) I could go on but I selfishly want it to be available when we try to book our return! We'll be back. Thank you.

A Fantastic 25th Wedding Anniversary!!

First I want to start by saying the pictures shown can only give you a fraction of the experience you get from actually being there. Simply Fantastic view. Shout out to the property owner Rex who was hands on in preparing us with emails and constant updates with details and management team communication. For a transportation fee, we were greeted at the airport and taken directly to the condo. As an additional option we utilized management services for maid, and rental car delivery. They also administered the activities and tours. The condo Mexican theme of the condo is Fabulous. Get your cameras ready! We had the time of our lives celebrating our 25Th Wedding Anniversary. So glad I ran into this opportunity. Thanks again Rex. You are the best. 👍

Glorious view, charming condo

Views are just as shown in the photos. Charmingly decorated, well-appointed with comfy beds. Kitchen had everything we needed. Great pool and lovely big private balcony. A short walk down lots of steps into town. We did taxi or Uber back up the hill every time but rides were easy to find. Property manager was great to work with.

Wonderful Experience : comfortable + vacation vibes

The place is everything the listing and reviews state. We had no trouble with property management. Very nice and on time. The view from the balcony is spectacular. Very nice cultural decor with modern touches. Clean, quiet and comfortable. You might just be reminded of the fact it's on a hill so it's a climb, easily avoided by using Uber 😁. Loved the pool and shower as well as the balcony view. Stairs access although steep, are new and safe. We had everything we needed. Well stocked with pool towels, soaps, etc. Thank you! We may be back!

Wonderful Condo

We had such a good time! The condo was great with lots of quirky Mexican decor. Very comfortable bed and couches. The terrace was where we spent a lot of time. The view is great, the pool is great. Walking distance to the Romantic Zone. The condo association put in steps to the road (hwy 200) which made it way easier to get there. We walked into town and back most days which helped to walk off all the tacos we ate. I definately recommend this condo. If you have mobility issues you can take taxis.

Excellent family vacation

We had a wonderful stay at Rex's condo. We were feeling just like home. Very well furnished and confortable. Extremely well decorated with mexican art and good taste. Everything you need is in the condo. Very calm and nice surrounding. Heated pool. 262 stairs to go up and down. 10 min straight to the beach. Or take a taxi when you don't want to do cardio (for around 60 pesos). I strongly recommand the appartment. Very good coordination and service with local PVRPV agency to help us and for transportation. Thankyou!

Comfortable and Convenient

Appreciated the prompt communication and flexibility shown by host. Also had reliable communication with Property Management representative. A convenient location - slightly removed from the congestion and crowds but minutes to beach and romantic zone ammenities by foot. Description and layout was accurate. Hike back to apartment by foot takes some effort in the heat but is doable. Would book again on a future visit to PV.

Awesome Stay

Wow! When I first looked at the listing, it looked like the pictures had been enhanced a little. Definitely not the case. This place and view is stunningly beautiful. The view from the enormous deck is totally beautiful. My wife and I both loved the Mexican décor throughout the condo. A lot of thought must have went into that. The hot water for showering was the best. The condo also comes with a very nice washer and dryer, which really came in handy. The pool is a constant comfortable temperature and it is kept clean. I was very impressed with the work the grounds keeper put into it. Location. We walked down into the Romantic Zone a couple times every day. There’s a difference in elevation of 220 feet to the beach about 3 city blocks away. If you do walk, there is a pedestrian crossing right down in front of the condo to get across the busy street. We only walked back to the condo a few times. Taxi is only $3.50 or 70 pesos to get back. This rise in elevation is well worth it every time we were on the deck with that picturesque view. Another plus with the location is how quiet it is. We’ve been to Mexico probably 20 times and this was definitely in the top three stays.

Wonderful Condo in the Romantic Zone

We really enjoyed our stay in this amazing condo. The view is wonderful and it has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Lots of hot water and good water pressure. All of our communications with the owner and the property manager ( PVRPV ) were fantastic. They let us check in early and even let us check out a couple of hours late, we really appreciated this. We met a wonderful group of people who were in other units at the pool and made some great new friends. The walk down to the beach or to the restaurants/bars was quite easy but it could be a bit of a challenge to get back up to the condo. For the first 2 days we took a taxi back up for about $5 CDN but after that we would walk. A few days in the romantic zone hills and your endurance builds. We hope to be back soon.

Incredible!

We cannot say enough good things about this property. It is exactly as it looks in the photographs, the pool area is inviting, the beds are extremely comfortable, the air conditioning works beautifully, and there’s more than enough space for a small group. As other of you stated, the hill can be a little much when you come back, but it is doable. A taxi didn’t cost very much for old town, maybe between three and five US dollars. It is such an incredible location, and the view is everything we would stay here again over and over. highly recommend this property.

Perfect

Stayed a week at this wonderful condo. Place was spotless when we arrived, beds were comfortable, and huge balcony and sunsets were incredible. Was just far enough away from the bustling old town to sleep with windows open and very peaceful. Pool is great and everyone we met was very nice. It is indeed a steep climb to it, but an uber is cheap (3.50cdn) from the pier, and never waited more than 5 minutes for one to pick us up. Would definitely go back again!

Awesome condo

Rex's condo is perfect. Small, quiet property without the busyness of a big complex. We had to pool to ourselves everyday (we were there in Sept). Yes it's a walk down to the restaurants and bars and beach, but you gotta burn off the calories anyway. The hike back up is no joke but it's cool using those stairs. Condo has everything you need and master bed is very comfortable. We didn't use the guest room. The kitchen is loaded and we hired a private chef one night (highly recommend this). The views are amazing. Sunsets that will blow you away. And the tstorms at night. I like going during the off season bec I like the daily rain. It never lasts all day and most of the time it's at night or the evening. We had a great time and we will be back this Sept or next.

Check in rough

After an expensive ride from the airport, it was wonderful. Rex was very accommodating when we called him about lack of toilet paper, etc. I finally found the stash of tp on the second day and everything was great after that. The only thing was the maid service. Why was it there the day before we left? What about after? All in all, it was very nice.

Wonderful home away from home

This little sixteen unit condo building was so unique and quaint! The condo we were in was a perfect size for my husband and son and I. It had everything you would need to cook or if you prefer to eat out simple stairs down to wherever you want to go! If you have enough energy to hike them back up then it’s a great workout but if not plenty of taxis or Uber! We met a lot of lovely people that own there and renters! I even met a cousin so random…….. contrary to the last reviewer I disagree with her write up on Rex’s condo everyone responded fast if we had a question. The fellow that came to water the plants was very polite and the maid Louisa was also very friendly and polite and wow did she ever leave the place spotless I thought we were doing well keeping it tidy lol! By the way outside the condo unit door is a doorbell and they do ring that if you don’t answer they will come in but you are told when to expect them. There is plenty of light in both bathrooms for makeup so not sure about that comment! Anyway I wanted to make sure people understand that Estrella del mar is a beautiful place to stay super comfy lots of spices in pantry, lots of pool towels I could go on. You wont be disappointed if you book here 😊 thank you Rex and the team!

As pictured, Amazing view, but Poor communication from PVRPV.

1 of 2 TV can stream. On a hill, be prepared (walking/stairs). Poor lighting in both bathrooms-makeup difficult, etc. Missing items: hammock and toilet plunger. No cell service in back half of condo. Wifi works throughout. Some minor construction noise on/off. Tap water is safe to drink. Plenty of ice trays. Bad Poor communication was a pattern with property management. Started with incorrect address (unit #, not street # provided) so taxi couldn't find it (Make sure you have PVRPV #). No one was there on arrival, no reply to text, but Tania arrived after short wait. She was professional and brought some of our groceries (partially filled list, cost 3x normal, + shopping service fee $25 US; do not recommend). We cancelled maid during stay, but was never told a man was coming! 2nd issue: Day 2: Man on balcony, watering plants. He did knock, but we didn't hear, then he was just inside. He was nice, but this is unacceptable for two women traveling alone. We cancelled his 2nd visit during our stay. 3rd issue: Lack of updates related to power/water outage. Day 4: 5 hrs (seemed normal, truck hit a transformer). Day 5: scheduled 2.5 hrs, but out for 6 hrs (replacing pole). We weren't informed before the scheduled outage and no updates during. This didn't seem normal. 4th issue: Day 6: Broken microwave, was told inspector would come same day. No updates received, even after texting 2 different staff that he didn't show. Day 7 emailed PVRPV, no reply. Inspector arrived, can't fix/unsure on replacement. After no reply from 3 texts to 2 staff and email to 3 staff. We were done, didn't attempt to contact them anymore on anything. We wish, they would've just said, "Sorry, microwave will not be replaced before you depart." Anything is better than silence. Owner-Rex did respond, but stated nothing he can do it. Locomotion About 8 stairs going down for elevator to unit. Over 70 stairs to the main road, by the pool. Or steep hill. Easy=down, challenge=up. Taxis are everywhere, 50-70 pesos each way. Working phone in unit, can call taxi. Sidewalk, 10-15m walk to romantic zone. There are stairs leading down to the romantic zone/beach (Tania pointed it out + Google maps walking directions use it), across the main road, but we don't recommend. They aren't well maintained (uneven, no rails, etc). TL;DR We had a bad experience w PVRPV (property mgmt) and will avoid them in future. So we can't recommend this listing. However, we hope you have a better stay. :)

September stay at Estrellita del Mar

The property is lovely - authentic Mexican decor made it extra special. We stayed off season so it was peaceful and quiet. The pool for the building felt like our very own - perfect for an afternoon swim. It is a steep climb back with multiple steps if you decide to walk back from town - alternatively you can always get a taxi. It's inexpensive and very convenient. We enjoyed the peace and quiet of not being in the middle of the Romantic Zone but it was close enough to walk into town every day. We only used the Master bedroom which was comfortable and had a fantastic view. We didn't cook because we had only a 5 day stay but the kitchen had all the amenities that you would need if you wanted to have a meal or two at the apartment. The unit had a washer and dryer too! I would definitely stay here again.

Great Place

Amazing views. Super friendly management. Spacious and clean. Great pool. Easy walk into town. It’s a little steep walking back but taxis are cheap.

My wife and I love Mexico and especially Puerto Vallarta. We both enjoy the fine dinning and the charm of old Vallarta. We chose Estrella del Mar because of the large patio and view of the bay. We searched all over PV for a vacation home and once we saw the building and condo we fell in love. You couldn't ask for a better location. We like the tranquil, small building atmosphere and close walk to the beach and old town.

Before we even unpack, we take a short walk to Los Muertos Beach and have a couple of Margaritas at La Palapa. This wonderful restaurant is right on the beach and a wonderful spot to see the first sunset of our vacation. I've made a good friend with a local fishing boat captain and I always make sure I go fishing or whale watching when I visit.
