Disfrute de su estancia y jugar en esta hermosa 3 dormitorios, 3 baño piscina casa ubicada en el fabuloso subdivisión Avena del mar a pocos pasos de la West Gulf Drive acceso a la playa # 1. La propiedad ha sido completamente renovado de arriba a abajo incluyendo una hermosa nueva cocina, baños, suelos y pintura en todas partes junto con el interior de una casa que incluye todos los electrodomésticos nuevos. Los diseñadores profesionales de Robb y Stucky® han completado la transformación, proporcionando un ambiente confortable y clásico isla para permitir una estancia tranquila y relajante en Sanibel Island.

The home has everything that you could possibly need while on vacation. Fully equipped Kitchen, washers and dryers on both floors. Wonderfully comfortable beds. Pelican's Perch provided enough space for everyone to have a place to rest and relax. We could watch the sunset from just about any room of the house or we could enjoy the sunset directly on the beach which was a very short walk from the house. The beach itself seemed almost private, the shelling was wonderful, and the water was beautiful. The owner of the home and Sanibel Vacations were wonderful, helpful, and responsive when we had any questions! Thank you so much to Sanibel Vacations and the owners of the property for all that you do to ensure that your guests have a lovely stay!

Located on a quiet street, it is a short walk to the beach and a short bike ride to Tarpon Bay Road. Plenty of room for the three of us. I loved sitting on the lanai with the sliders open or the front porch to enjoy the fresh air. Nice fenced in pool area. The house had two beach umbrellas, multiple chairs and a great little cart to pull it all to the beach. The TV was a bit of a challenge at first to turn on but once we figured out which remote to use, it was fine. Overall, a great stay. We didn’t want to leave and would definitely stay again. As for SBL Vacations, they earned a six star rating in my book and for multiple reasons. They will undoubtedly get my business again. Their booking and check in processes are very easy. The were great about providing info in their app both for standard info and also details about what to do during Hurricane Eta. I felt like they were “with us” from the beginning of the trip to the end. Their customer service felt very much like a personal travel concierge service instead of a rental company. I worked with Ann and she was so pleasant and easy to talk to. She answered so many questions for me and never made me feel like I was asking too much. Then, before Hurricane ETA came through, she eased my mind about the storm as I was ready to evacuate. Her kindness and patience with me were so appreciated and added to the great customer experience we had with SBL.

Wonderful home near the beach

We had an amazing stay at Pelican's Perch and are so glad we picked this home for our first trip to Sanibel. We loved the pool, the screened in porch, the landscaping, the privacy, and the quiet sounds of nature! The house is a very short walk to the beach access and well supplied with beach chairs, cart, umbrellas, and sand toys, which made things super easy. This is a quiet stretch of beach, and we were often the only ones there. The house itself was very comfortable for our family and stocked with everything we needed. Questions we had during our stay were promptly answered by the SBL staff. We saw so much wildlife on Sanibel and near the house - dolphins, manatee, alligator, cownose rays, armadillo, gopher tortoise, and dozens of bird species, plus sea turtle tracks and nests on the beach. Would love to visit again!

Close to the beach and bike paths

( more bedrooms for the kids on the 3rd floor). Due to building codes in recent years, all, starts on the 2nd floor.So, getting into and out the back down to the pool we’re daily treks up and down stairs.The unit itself was beautiful. Fully equipped. AC was hard to adjust and the master could be 15 degrees cooler. We think it was coming from the first floor accommodations of the owners. What was annoying over time was the smell from the renters side of the garage on the main floor. A moldy, damp, nauseating smell that sometimes was noticed upstairs. Exhaust?Pool was great! 85 degrees all the time. Wish more was said about the “ no see um” bugs. We were eaten alive over the first week which extended into the second week recouping. The remedy can be found in a oily spray found on sale island wide. Pool is not screened but these bugs are so small they would go thru the screens. Suggest spraying the yard and rather than a tote bag supply spray.Beach very close to walk to and get the best shelling on the island!!We noted exterior windows on the back side really needed exterior cleaning BUT could not be done ( tracks had mud in them) when new floors added which meant windows were permanent.Suggested to management,who were quite attentive when we needed help with older version of tv cable needed changing, that master bathroom shower drain and sinks needed cleaning. He said it was sand, we’re thinking hair.Love Sanibel

Far More Than a Vacation

Now, at the age of 37, I can honestly say our most recent stay at Pelican's Perch was the best we have ever enjoyed.The house is stunning on multiple levels. Decor, cleanliness, and proximity to the beach are all five-star. The lanai overlooking the pool and beautifully landscaped yard was an especial treat, and my family and I spent many hours on it as we took in sunsets and watched fleeting storms roll in. The pool itself was also a delight to my children, and guests are provided with everything from beach towels to swim toys.The only thing that matches the impressiveness of the house itself is the professionalism of SBL staff. We have worked with other rental agencies in the past, but SBL is truly state of the art. They are quick to respond to any questions and are clearly eager to accommodate guests and help them experience the best of the island. As we travel with six young kids and two dogs, driving from Illinois to Florida is no small matter. Our time on Sanibel is always a luxury that we look forward to and save up for all year long. Thanks to Rob, Carly, and the other folks at SBL, every minute we were at Pelican's Perch was well worth whatever leg work went into preparing for our trip. We are already planning on booking with them next year. Far More Than a Vacation

My family and I have been vacationing on Sanibel since I was five years old. Now, at the age of 37, I can honestly say our most recent stay at Pelican's Perch was the best we have ever enjoyed. The house is stunning on multiple levels. Decor, cleanliness, and proximity to the beach are all five-star. The lanai overlooking the pool and beautifully landscaped yard was an especial treat, and my family and I spent many hours on it as we took in sunsets and watched fleeting storms roll in. The pool itself was also a delight to my children, and guests are provided with everything from beach towels to swim toys. The only thing that matches the impressiveness of the house itself is the professionalism of SBL staff. We have worked with other rental agencies in the past, but SBL is truly state of the art. They are quick to respond to any questions and are clearly eager to accommodate guests and help them experience the best of the island. As we travel with six young kids and two dogs, driving from Illinois to Florida is no small matter. Our time on Sanibel is always a luxury that we look forward to and save up for all year long. Thanks to Rob, Carly, and the other folks at SBL, every minute we were at Pelican's Perch was well worth whatever leg work went into preparing for our trip. We are already planning on booking with them next year. Wonderful time on Sanibel

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful time again this year at Pelican's Perch on Sanibel. The property is perfect for us ( a little large for the two of us maybe!)and it is an excellent location just off West Gulf Drive with the beach just 4 minutes away.We are planning to return next year.The team at Sanibel Vacations are very friendly & helpful.

Great for large family.

The owners have done an incredible job on the update. SBL is a great management company. I will be using them for my future stays.
