A bonus coffee and cocktail bar adds charm, while the second kitchen near the bunk rooms makes this home a favorite for larger groups, long stays, or multigenerational getaways.

We enjoyed the stay. The place has a good size pool and a fantastic back deck. Also, the kitchen(s) were well stocked and very useful. The location is great, walkable to shops and restaurants. Confident we will be back!!

Family Vacation for parents 50th Anniversary

Overall the experience at this house was good. The description and pictures were quite accurate and the house was just the right size for multiple adults and kids. Things that were needed were in stock. If we had to give one negative it would be the cleanliness. There was an insect problem inside the house that we had to take care of quickly.

We really enjoyed our stay and cannot wait to go back. The house was clean and comfortable and extremely spacious! The pool was amazing and we spent most of our days in it. The outdoor shower was a huge plus for the kids - and the master suite was beautiful. We felt like it was our own home and hated to leave!

We had a great stay here and loved the location—about a 15-minute walk to downtown even with kids. The pool was fantastic, and the owners have an incredible stash of kids’ toys (truly the best we’ve seen in a rental). Just a heads-up on the layout: there are really only three bedrooms suited for adult couples; two additional rooms are bunk rooms for kids, and there’s a small room off the dining area with a single pullout loveseat that works for one person. The kitchen was fairly stocked for basic cooking, though the oven knob is broken to the right and the bottom-left burner seems to be only high or off. Also note that only the master has a TV, and the sliding glass door to the pool is quite hard to open and close. Overall, we were very pleased—this is a great setup for three couples with lots of kids!

Nice older home.

Overall experience was really good. The entry door definitely needs a threshold replaced,but once you go further into home it is really nice and feels really homely and comfortable. The covered back deck with seating was really nice with enclosed outdoor shower over looking the really nice and large inground pool. Would definitely stay again.

Wonderful experience!

Our stay was absolutely perfect. From the beautiful house and furnishings to the pool and outdoor shower everything was perfect. We are a family of 9 and there was room to spare. The small details of this house were so appreciated. We loved the beautiful plate settings and small decorations that made this feel like a home away from home. The beds and bedding were very comfortable and the amazing tub was a blessing at the end of a long day. The house was pristine and clean when we arrrived. We have been coming to the island for 6 years now and the moment we crossed the threshold we knew we had found our new favorite vacation house.

My family and I had a great time at the cottage. Lots of room in the rental and close to all the hot spots. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. However, needs more towels for big families. It would be nice if the kitchen had a hand mixer for baking up a brownie or two. The mattress in one of the room is sinking in the middle so you might want to see about replacing it. The pool was great to have especially with the kids they really loved it. We loved Saint Simons and will return in the future

Wonderful house in beautiful SSI

We just got back from a fantastic memorial weekend at this lovely house! We were two families and 10 persons, and there was enough room for all of us and more than that! The pool is absolutely awesome! We had a wonderful time and the neighborhood is super cute. It’s just a few min bike ride down to the pier and all the stores/restaurants/beach. The kitchen is well equipped, there are 3 adults bikes and 1 bigger kid Bike (the bikes needed air in the tires, but there was a pump there), there is a lovely porch, gas grill (would check the propane right when you get there though....we didn’t and our dinner got pretty spoiled bc we prepared everything and started cooking, but couldn’t finish the bbq)......all in all we really enjoyed the stay and would love to come back another time! Thank you so much!!

Enjoyable stay

We spent a lovely week here. The house has been recently renovated. The layout is a little quirky, but it has everything you could want in a vacation home. Furniture and fixtures are nice. The pool is huge and has a deep end for diving, etc. Our kids loved it. The location is excellent - a quiet street and very close to everything. Added bonus: little things like liquid hand soap, bath mats, extra toilet paper, make this home nice. If you have an infant or toddlers this would be especially nice as they have a crib, high chair, and lots of toys for small children. You don’t usually see those in rentals. We did have a couple of maintenance issues and some serious communication issues with the management company, but in the end they resolved everything to our satisfaction. We would stay here again.

Don’t Be Fooled By Front View!

There is nothing wrong with the front view of the house. But one cannot imagine the space of the interior from the outside view. My family gathers once a year at Thanksgiving. This was Home away from Home. We enjoyed everything about this rental. There are 4 toilets, 2 showers and a free standing tub. There was enough room to sleep 7 adults and 7 children - all in beds. We loved the details like a crib, toys and games, 2 refrigerators, fireplace and the pool. The pool was a lifesaver! Worth every penny to heat it too! Coming in from 14 degrees? Perfect! Sun is on the pool in the morning and the afternoons were open for the beach and Frozen II. Although there are many wonderful restaurants, we cooked all our meals. I took 10 beach towels and we used them all. (There are towels there). Because I live fairly close to the island, we took a turkey roasting rack&pan, two large pots and 2 roasting pans. Those were needed for our large gatherings. At home now and missing that fire place! It’s so family friendly and all the children said they like it so much they’d like to come back next year. So that’s our plan! Lord willing, see you again in 2020! EDIT HERE IF YOU WANT - We could not use the grill because the insides need replacing and there’s no propane tank.

The rental was exception and the pool was great with the exception of having to shock the pool and the light not in place. The kids were disappointed that they could not swim for a couple of hours during the wait time. For the most part the beds were comfortable except for one of the queen beds.
