Beach Club at Whalehead is a gated community in the middle of it all! Just steps from the ocean, this beautiful resort-style community has a heated pool with private poolside cabanas, fitness center, clubhouse, pickleball, and restaurant, "Salty Rim", making it the perfect beach-side escape. The Currituck Lighthouse and historic Whalehead Club are also just a short walk away. We're situated at the last beach access before 4x4 so let down those tires, take in the salt air, and experience the beauty of the wild mustangs as they run along the beach.

"The 1903 Beach Club” is a luxury condo that will feel like your home away from home. Named after the Wright Brothers and the year of their first flight in Kitty Hawk, you'll find little pieces of aviation history throughout the condo. You can expect light and airy beach living with tall ceilings and plenty of natural sunlight as you step through the door. You'll enjoy comfortable beds and furniture, large flat screens, a fully equipped open kitchen with an extra long kitchen island and an outdoor grill. Our front porch faces the pool with seating to relax and unwind after a fun day or while you sip your morning coffee. Welcome to our hangar!

Our community offers two EV charging stations with 250-amp outlets for your convenience.

Pool Cabanas
Available for rent May–October
Poolside cabanas include a TV, mini fridge, towels, and bottled water. You can also order food from The Salty Rim for poolside delivery.

Security
A security camera is located at the front door to monitor and protect the property. It is a requirement that it remain on and functional. It records video and audio, with footage stored for 30 days. Any attempt to block, move, or tamper with the device or connection in any way will result in immediate cancellation without refund. If damaged, guest will be charged replacement fee of not less than $250.

No Animals or Smoking
This home is strictly animal-free and smoke-free due to severe allergies.

Wi-Fi, Appliances & Home Amenities
The condo includes Wi-Fi, standard appliances, and modern amenities for your comfort. While we do our best to keep everything in great working order, occasional issues (e.g., service outages or appliance failure) can happen and are outside our control. We are not on-site 24/7, but we’re always just a message away and will assist as promptly as possible.
Temporary service interruptions or equipment malfunctions, while rare, do not qualify for refunds.

Trip Cancellation Insurance
Guests are strongly encouraged to purchase trip cancellation/interruption insurance to protect against unforeseen events such as family emergencies, illness, injury, funerals, travel delays, flight or rental car cancellations, job loss, snow/ice, hurricanes, wildfires, pandemics, government bans/restrictions, or similar circumstances.

The Owner does not provide refunds or credits for any of the above situations or for early departures. The sole exception is a mandatory evacuation order specifically for Corolla, NC (the paved section where this property is located). In that event, a prorated refund may be issued for unused nights during the evacuation period. Mandatory evacuations issued for the 4x4/Carova area or other Outer Banks communities do not qualify.

Rental Agreement
Per the North Carolina Vacation Rental Act, a signed rental agreement is required. After booking, we’ll send the agreement to the email address listed on your account for digital signature. A government-issued ID is also required to complete this step.
*Your reservation is not finalized until the agreement is completed.
