Nice place in Sarasota

This house was in a nice area of Sarasota, convenient to many things. There was shopping nearby, and it wasn't far to Ed Smith Stadium.

Centrally located

we chose this house because it was right by the legacy trail and the Pickleball courts. Great location. The house was very clean. Brendan was very responsive to any questions.

March trip to Sarasota

The property was clean and very spacious. It had all the amenities needed is is in a good location. Brendan was great to work with and all communications were smooth and easy. Thanks for being a great host!

Perfect for what we needed.

We enjoyed our stay. The location was close to the grocery store and an easy drive to Siesta which is where we went multiple times a day. We had everything we needed in the house (extra towels including beach towels and even had a cooler bag we could use for the beach which was an added bonus) which was convenient. The only thing I would say is that we couldn’t get all the tvs to work especially the living room and the one in the queen bedroom. Thankfully I didn’t mind not having a tv in my room and the kids had tvs that worked in their rooms. Also, some of the overhead lights would flicker in the master and the room with the bunk beds so they barely used their lights. I wish the light in the queen was a little brighter but the sunlight helped during the day. Other then those small things, it was great and I would definitely stay again.

Could Have Been Better

First the positives: Although this is an older home, it is spacious with a good floor plan thanks to recent renovations. There is a large TV in the main living area, also in a secondary sitting room plus in each bedroom. The kitchen is reasonably well outfitted, the kids loved the bunk beds and games, and the location is central to everything Sarasota has to offer. However, we had several issues from the moment we arrived which negatively affected our stay. I won’t detail them, but I think the primary problem is that the host is new to vacation rentals and is in the process of learning what goes into a successful rental. Communication was spotty, although they did eventually offer a discount due to the numerous problems we had experienced to that point.To be fair, we arrived early evening on Thanksgiving Eve, and I am sure they also had holiday plans. But this left us solving issues on our own after a very long and exhausting drive. Hopefully this served as a learning experience for the host, and the next guest will benefit from the feedback.

This was one of the best homes we have stayed in since we started using VRBO 20 years ago. The TV offerings were outstanding and unexpected. There was nothing lacking in the kitchen and bathroom supplies. It was super clean too. No complaints at all. We will definitely stay here again if the need arises.
