Very quiet and secluded house with a great view of the river from the big screen in porch. The 3 bedroom house was perfect for our small group. Everyone had their own bedroom. Right after checking in we walked down to the river just in time to see a group of otters playing in the water. The fishing was also great, my son caught several bass from the bulkhead. All in all we had a great time and enjoyed our stay.

Overall everything went great. Make sure to bring your own condiments and tinfoil/clingwrap. Home and neighbors were extremely nice. We always saw a double rainbow

Rainbow River is one of my favorite areas to paddle on. The water is crystal clear and clean from trash due to the strict plastic and alcohol rules. The house did not disappoint! Located halfway between KP Hole and Swampys you get the best of both! It was clean, spacious, and offered many "toys" so you can pack light. The management company was fanstastic to deal with. Very responsive to any pf our requests. I couldnt have asked for a better weekend!

Awesome cottage on river

What an amazing older cottage right on the river with a lot of homey feel to it. Can sit out at night by the fire and listen to all the animals or paddle on the river to see otters, turtles, and toms of birds or snorkel if you’d like as well. Highly recommend!

Great Location

This cabin is in a great location right on the water. Amenities are awesome! The house is a little older and could probably use a few minor updates but overall I would rent it again.

On the River

The view from this home is amazing. It has everything you would want in a River house. The amenities were great, and we spent all of our time on the River or around a fire. The neighbors were incredible and friendly. We are positive we will rent here again. I will say, it was tricky finding the location and I would recommend a more detailed explanation (and photos) on how to find the house. Other than that aspect, this place is a 10/10.

Best location! 65 feet of river frontage!

The screened in porch was great when it rained - we could still enjoy the river. Being right on the rainbow river was priceless. There were enough kayaks for all of us, life jackets -- everything. Comfy couches and chairs for the entire family in the large living room. Quiet secluded neighborhood. All of this offset the older home. We actually felt like we were at grandma's house -- even had vintage dishes!

Rainbow river annual family reunion

This was our third year coming for a 4 night family gathering from different parts of the country. The house suits are needs because you can’t beat the location right on a beautiful clear part of the river with lots of grass for games in the backyard. There are 10 of us with only 2,bathrooms and 3 bedrooms so it’s a bit tight for sleeping and one couple usually ends up sleeping on porch or living room with mattresses but no one complains because we’re on the river 80% of the time. The screened in porch with large picnic table is perfect for meal gatherings and game playing. There have been a couple welcome upgrades but the bath towels aside from master bedroom were very small for adults to use. The dishwasher broke on day 2, it’s old and needs replacement. Kelsey, our contact was delightful, accommodating and sweet. We will return until more grandbabies come and we outgrow it!! Winner!
