Booked this house for a family Thanksgiving getaway and it didn’t disappoint. Location was perfect. We brought a boat with us and it gave us easy access to the Atlantic or gulf. And Key Colony was nice and quiet. The only bad part was having to leave.

Amazing property and stay!

This was the most beautiful house ever and had so much space and privacy! Everyone was very happy about the stay and we had to best week ever. Lots to do in the area and the location was perfect. Would definitely recommend and book this property over and over again!

Absolutely incredible stay! Our week in Marathon, FL was nothing short of perfect. The house was spotless, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing vacation. The location was ideal—close to stunning beaches, great restaurants, and local attractions. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. We especially loved the gorgeous outdoor space and the private dock, which made for some unforgettable sunsets. Middle Keys Family Vacation

We stayed for a week in Kim’s house. The house is really beautiful, the pool has a chiller on it which was a great bonus, the dock space was super ample and deep. The beds were actually very comfortable. We had a few issues with cleanliness like dog hair and cockroaches but it is Florida and they turned the house around the same day of our check in. Kim was super helpful with issues we had and promptly tried to resolve anything. Overall, we loved the house, the location and had such a fantastic time.

Great house in a great neighborhood

We rented this house for our wedding, we had a total of 9 people with us and we had more than enough space. Everything about the house and neighborhood was perfect, nice pool, on the water, great little beach down the street to watch the sunset with the neighbors and a great local bar restaurant.

Great location

We had a great stay at this house. Accurately described. Wonderful waterfront location. The pool was nice and warm. The kitchen was well stocked. The home was clean. Plenty of towels. Our group of 12 enjoyed our stay and would gladly return. Communication with the owner was quick and easy.

Magnificent property

We could not have been happier with our stay. The neighborhood is charming. The view is spectacular. Very comfortable house. Plenty of room for everyone to have some space and not be on top of each other all week.

Very nice. Kitchen could use knives and griddle. Out side was the best. The pool and the fishing was awesome. Wouldn’t change a thing.

Good

Driveway will fit two boats ours was 22ft and 27ft trailers can fit to the right of the house and still fit three vehicles in the driveway. You can dock the boats but beware the walkway is about 3-4 feet from your boat when it’s low tide. Also be aware that it is a main channel running with the dock.All in all this is a great spot if you want close to a landing, gas and ocean.

Enjoyed our stay

We had a great week at Key Colony Beach. The house is very spacious and a lot of seating in the common area where you could put your feet up to relax. We extensively used the kitchen and grill to make meals at home and it is well stocked for that. The pool is large and was heated so the 8 year old could swim every day even though temps were a little cooler since it was January. The location is great - sunset beach park very close and sunset was beautiful there. We were only 15 minutes or so from grocery stores, ice cream and Marathon attractions. The outdoor space is nice - also with ample seating - some fished out there and others just enjoyed the nice weather. We stay at a home every January moving around from state to state - all said this was their favorite house so far!

We didn’t want to leave! The house and location were amazing. The marine life and wildlife were so beautiful. Well stocked. However: TV’s in the bedrooms didn’t work, couldn’t turn on channels. Internet reception was spotty. Propane tanks were empty. Air&intake vents were dirty (allergens). The outside flood ring camera light was on all night being triggered by palm trees. A kayak would have made visiting family across the canal. Small things in the Big picture. Also, I reorganized some of the kitchen wate. Everything was everywhere.

Keys Christmas @ Key Colony

Overall, the property, is beautiful, and well located. The only issues we absolutely have with the house is that there was food left over —probably the last three or four people who would stay there in the cabinets. I think the house was cleaner than what it was when we anrrived. Everything else, including the bedrooms were nice but the beds are not comfortable. The owners and the daughter of the owners are fantastic to work with their communication as well as they were considerate of our privacy. The house is located on a very large waterway lot, however fishing was hard because it’s also a boat channel at the same time so I got a few. It had everything you needed didn’t work didn’t work.
