Waves of the Sea es un verdadero hallazgo precioso en Marathon. Esta casa de 3 dormitorios y 2 baños se encuentra justo al lado del Océano Atlántico y el agua se puede ver desde casi todas las habitaciones. Recién actualizado por dentro con todos los muebles nuevos y electrodomésticos de acero inoxidable. Esta hermosa propiedad se ha proyectado en balcones para disfrutar del clima y el paisaje de Keys Tropical. Una vez que ingrese a la casa, llegará a la espaciosa sala de estar con un cómodo sofá y televisión de alta definición. Al final del pasillo tenemos dos dormitorios, el primer dormitorio a la derecha tiene una cama King size y el otro tiene una cama Queen size, ambos tienen un televisor de pantalla plana, balcón compartido. Las habitaciones están justo después del baño completo del pasillo que cuenta con una ducha de lluvia. El Master está en el segundo piso con su baño en suite que incluye una bañera de hidromasaje, una ducha separada y un balcón privado con vista al muelle de 50 pies. Tendrá estacionamiento cubierto debajo de la casa para un remolque de barco y dos autos. Hemos incluido en el alquiler 1 Paddle Board, 1 asiento doble Kayak con tres remos y chalecos salvavidas. También puede disfrutar del Cabana Club que ofrece una piscina privada y playa durante su estadía.

Place was clean and organized. Really liked the layout. Great views and the pool refreshing. Road to the house a little tight if towing a boat and no place to turn around but manageable. Great communication with the property management team.

Amazing Stay!

First time visiting the Keys. This location was awesome! Close to everything in Marathon. The pool was heated and the kids loved it. We enjoyed the entire vacation! Also, communication with the manager was prompt and helpful. She even reached out during the stay to ensure we had everything we needed. Would recommend and would definitely stay here again!

Everything we needed in a vacation rental. Plenty of room, pool was enjoyable for all of us, my husband enjoyed the use of the paddle board. Was a great location for our needs. The rental was clean and very comfortable. Loved having my morning coffee on the balcony.

Great place!

Great place to stay. House was perfect for two families, a family of 4 and a family of 3. Nice boat dock with easy access to fishing. Nice outdoor area for evening enjoyment. Pool was nice for the kids after a long day on the water. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Fabulous Family Vacation

We had an incredible stay; the location had beautiful ocean views with sunrises and sunsets beyond expectations. Everything was close by and it was easy getting around. Marathon is a great town! Wish we could have stayed longer.

Our first time to the Keys

Great location for being able to visit all the Keys. House was just as nice as the pictures- we loved having a private pool and screened in balconies. Great views from both sides of the house and our group of 5 adults had plenty of room. Would definitely book this property again.

We came and stayed in January. Perfect location to all of the keys and the house was beautiful. Heated pool was an added bonus. We had trouble checking in because the key wasn’t left but they responded right away at 9:30 at night and was there to help within 10 min. Will absolutely be back.

Great house, excellent location

Great house, excellent location, less than 2 minutes to get to open water by boat from house dock. The pool is 50% in the shade by 3 PM which is great relief from the hot sun. The only complaint is that the road going to the house is a narrow private roadway so if you're trailering a boat, be prepared to make a few attempts to park the trailer at the house.

A little bit of everything

Our property manager, Jessy made everything so easy and if we ever needed her, she was a quick text away! The property itself was perfect for my family and my sister’s family. We had a boat that was easy to get in and out of the canal with. The pool was such a nice plus. It’s small but given the size of the lots, it’s perfect. We enjoyed the kayak and paddle board too. Such a little piece of paradise! Thanks Jessy!

Marathon

Central location to varying activities, especially if you are fishermen. The kayak and paddle board was nice extra. If you like nature trials and beaches you will need to drive 2 miles down to get there. The house is beautiful and was perfict fit for our adult group of five . The views off every balcony were awesome. The yard with dock and fire pit was the best way to spend days and nights. The kitchen is Well equipped with everything you need and we had great communication with management.

Enjoyed Our stay!

Overall this place is nice! The positives: Amazing heated pool with a very shallow section that would be great for toddlers. Amazing porches… there are porches on 3 sides of this home and the views are breathtaking. The Master bedroom is relaxing and very large with the best views of the ocean! Property manager was very communicative and helpful when small issues arose. Small things to note: The home could have been a little cleaner with a little more attention to small details. The kitchen was stocked ok. The canal is not flow through so little to no fish in the canal. Overall we enjoyed our stay!! The pool and master suite are the best features of this property !!

Great location and pool

Overall the property is nice. The location right next to the ocean is great. The pool was also great. The parking for a boat trailer is difficult as the street is very narrow, the property is fenced and the mailbox blocks the angle of approach. We contacted the property manager as the BBQ was in disrepair (grill broken and burner bent in half). The property manager acknowledged the problem and wanted the model and measurements or the grill. No other communication since. The BBQ was not repaired or replaced. The flooring throughout the home was coming up and a tripping hazard. Don’t walk around barefoot as we will get injured. We notified the property manager and the acknowledged knowing about the issue. How do you not repair this issue knowing little children will be at the property?

Disappointed

The house pics online are obviously older pictures. The house and things inside the house need some fixing and or replacing. The exterior of the house could use a cleaning and painting. The carpet on the stairs is stained and some pieces of the flooring in the bedrooms are broken. We spent most of our time outside and the AC was very loud and rattled so sitting on the balcony trying to enjoy the views was a bit aggravating due to the noise. If you plan on taking a boat as we did beware that the canal is not a deep water canal and when the tides are out it is extremely shallow as well as narrow. We fill that this information should have been shared in the listing for people bringing boats. The other thing to consider if you are bringing a boat is that the house is difficult To get in and out of with a larger truck and boat trailer without encroaching on the neighbors driveway. Our boat is 22’ and we had to detach the trailer and manually roll it under the house. The pictures show empty lot next to the house and there are 2 newer houses there now which does block your overall view and in the pictures online the lot is empty. Marathon is beautiful but there were much nicer listings in the area for the same money. .

Beautiful Views

The communication with the property manager could have been better. The reservation itself started off with problems. I asked a couple of questions two different times before we left by email that were never answered. We didn’t get any check in information until almost 10pm the night before check in and were already half way to the Keys, so that was a little unnerving. The Wifi was turned off for nonpayment while we were there and we were notified that the bill needed to be paid when we tried to log in. The house has beautiful views and great outdoor areas with wonderful outdoor furniture, although all of them are not screened as stated. The description also stated this house was 2800 sq feet and it seems much smaller inside. The living area and kitchen and dining are very small. The large dining table makes it very difficult to even open the refrigerator when someone is sitting there. There are not new stainless steel appliances as stated. Our biggest problem was the upstairs older master shower which has not been updated, the water pressure was terrible and I could barely get the shampoo out of my hair. The linens were great, the house was spotless and the welcome basket was very thoughtful!

Excellent property. Location was great. Neighbors were friendly and helpful.

Great Place

Great home! East check in/out. Views are beautiful. Fishing right of the dock is a breeze. Pool is fun. Beds all slept great. Only complaint would be the lack of cooking utensils and accessories. Like only one spatula, and no wet measuring cup. Just missing the every day essentials. We would stay here again.

Great Atlantic and Bay views. Comfortable Beds!

We have stayed in Marathon a few times. Learned that the houses closer to the mouth of the canal get snapper and grunt fish (great eating). This one was no exception. Chum bag off dock and plenty of fish to be had. Sink, cutting board, bait freezer all right there. We sleep on a sleep number bed at home and always have trouble with beds during travel. These were just the right combination of support and softness for both my wife and me. Very comfortable beds! Wife likes sleep number of 35 and I am a 50 so these beds (non-sleep number) should work for you. House layout is very open with decks on three sides. Great view of ocean and of Bay. Loved having coffee out there in morning and drinks in evening. Neighbors very friendly and helpful. Had one small incident where we got locked out on the back deck off the kitchen. Neighbors heard us and came over to let us out. Using the lock box key. You need to make sure the bottom door handle is unlocked because it will allow you to go out but will lock behind you if you do not unlock it. Jessie the property Manager is aware of this and is working with the owner to fix it. Jessie was very responsive and always available. Checking in / out was all contactless and emails were informative. Nothing out of the ordinary and just standard stuff. TV’s are Samsung Smart TVs and we were able to setup out Direct TV stream and ESPN+ for Hockey. Internet was fast and worked well too. Verizon cell signal was strong in the area also. Book and have a great time. We will be again in the future.

Property was amazing, clean, comfortable, and had superb views. Everything was perfect except we had a bum coffee maker -- BUT they rushed a new one to us within hours! Don't get that type of response from hotels. Plus, the guy who came gave us great info on area snorkeling. If you'd like to snorkel, make sure you hit Horseshoe beach and do not miss Sombrero Reef!! We've been to the Dominican, Eleuthera, Mexico among others, and this was by far our best experience! Sea turtles, sting rays, barracudas, and beautiful crystal clear blue waters. Don't forget your GoPro! I wish they would update the photos on their listings to show the two houses build between the Waves of the Sea and the ocean. It was mentioned in the text but I think it would only make sense to update the photos as well. However, this DID NOT in any way ruin our view of the ocean. I would recommend staying in this house and on Marathon.

Awesome experience!

The house was very clean and appeared to be either recently remodeled or just recently built. All new appliances, nothing old or inoperative. Boat dock was very convenient with water for wash down and power to charge boat batteries. There was an outside bait freezer and a convenient fish cleaning station outside. We plan on returning again.
