Nice Condo, but needs some attention

The location and set up a beat and the condominium is beautifully decorated . Unfortunately after six years there has been a lot of wear and tear and the bed in the master bedroom is horrible There are actually giant lumps in it !!!!!!!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Love the location and view from the balcony. The interior bathrooms need some updating. A a couple of days after arriving we found a load of wet towels and bedding in the washer which explained tr mildew smell in the condo. There was also mildew growing in the bathroom. A new cleaning service might be a good idea. This is ou second stay at this condo and our third at the unit.

Vacay room 109 for 2022

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The room itself was wonderful. The concern we had was the bedding which were old and uncomfortable. The sheets were like sleeping on sandpaper. There were no designated bed pillows on the master bed. There were no wash clothes, extra towels or other supplies...sheets, blankets, etc. The beach, pool, and resort amenities are fabulous. We have stayed at this property 4 times before, and never had these concerns.

Absolutely AWESOME!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were "in charge" of planning this year's family vacation for members coming from Ohio, Texas, and Florida. We received major kudos for choosing this condo! The condo itself is huge, very well decorated, newly updated, and has everything you could possibly need. It was extremely comfortable throughout. As far as location, it can't be beat. Beach Palms is right in the middle of great scenery, shopping and eating; no long distances to anywhere you'd want to go. As far as the room's location, we literally felt like we owned the whole building! The 1st Floor balcony overlooks the pool, the beach, and the gate to the beach. The private stairs led directly to the pool as well as the included 2-car private garage. Like I said, absolutely AWESOME!!

Great Location

The location of the condo was perfect! We were traveling with our adult kids and infant grandson, so the private stairs leading directly to the pool and beach were perfect for nap time because we were able to have the monitor with us and be at the pool while he slept. The condo was very spacious and views were amazing. The cleanliness could be improved with a more thorough job and better pillows for the beds. Having a 2 car garage accessed right by the stairs of the condo was a plus. There was plenty of beach supplies, however, it needs to be gone through because well over half the stuff was broken. We ended up buying a beach umbrella to use which we left there because all the others that were there need to go in the garbage. As far as check in and check out process, it would have been nice to have a keypad on the door for access instead of having to drive to the office to retrieve and return keys. We arrived late at night and left very early in the morning, so the extra step was a bit cumbersome. Overall, it was a perfect spot to vacation with our family and we thoroughly enjoyed our time!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unit has a great view, nice 2+ car garage. All the bed mattresses need to be replaced along with the pillows. The toilets set on the floor great if you are 4' tall, they run all the time. Bath faucets are outdated. Unit sleeps 6 people only had 8 bath towels,2 wash clothes,3 hand towels,5 bathmats, I guess you do laundry every day. Living room fan will not run unless the light is on, makes the bedrooms hard to cool. Kitchen lighting is not bright enough. Dishes are a mix of whatever. Tables on the pool deck should have umbrellas because you can't set up a canopy for shade which is BS. One grille should be rebuilt or replaced. Pool deck & chairs are cleaned every morning. Property overall is very clean. Location is OK. Unit just needs some updates badly. If the unit had some updates, I would recommend this unit. I would recommend the property as a whole.

Winter break on the beach

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family of 6 stayed a week at beach palms 109. We were impressed with the size and layout of the condo. The easy access to the pool and beach were a plus for us! The two car garage made for easy parking. The kayak was a fun extra to our adventure!We were disappointed in some of the amenities. The bed sheets were all extremely pilled and one of the beds sheets we're inside out because of the pilling. We had to buy a new set of bed sheets to put on the bed so that we could sleep in comfort. Another bed sheet appeared to be dirty still and had numerous hairs on it. The bed in the master bedroom was extremely lumpy and uncomfortable. The toilets in the master bedroom and the spare bathroom were old and need to be replaced. It took multiple Flushing on many occasions to get simple fluids down the toilet.For the majority of the week the unit above us was doing heavy construction during the day which included using a saw on their porch and rolling something along the floor all day long. Although it is understandable that we can't control another's time of remodeling it was difficult to sleep during those times and an extra irritant to our vacation.Our 2 year old and a friend that was visiting both were stung on their foot while cleaning the sand from their feet. This happened at the dedicated feet cleaning spot upon exiting the beach.We are unsure if we will return to this beach resort because of this experience. We believe that for the price we paid we could find something nicer that at least comes with clean sheets.The staff at the rental company were friendly and polite as always and we appreciate their kindness.

Walk out onto the lanai, down the steps and you are at the pool/beach or your private 2 car garage. Comfortable living quarters and well supplied. Great nearby restaurants and parks for hiking and biking. Already booked unit again for 2025.

Reviewer Comments: Great location but the master bedroom is in desperate need of repair. Mattress sitting in creaking slats and just about broke our back from trying to sleep on it all week. Thank goodness for ibuprofen. Chairs at kitchen table are in need of replacement as well. Most of the beach stuff in the garage is broken and just needs to be thrown away. Make sure you take your beach towels because this unit has none (odd)! We had to purchase fans for the bedrooms because they were so hot. Cold in kitchen and living area but bedrooms are pretty warm. The convince to pool and beach exceptionally well. We won’t be back to this location until they change the bed in the master suite. Need to provide a garage door opener to renters.

Best Unit in Beach Palms!

Reviewer Comments: After a rocky start (missing elevator key, A/C needed repaired), Beach Palms 109 was a true gem of a unit where we spent a wonderful 4 weeks, nearly as great as the weather, minus one breezy (50 mph winds!) day. The pool access from the balcony was great, and the same access to the garage from the pool area meant storage of beach chairs there, for an easy move to the beach. It was very nice to have laundry facilities in-unit and the place was very well appointed, with leather sofa/loveseat/recliner set and TV's in every bedroom. The 2-car garage was convenient and pool/beach chairs/toys were provided inside the garage. We were able to convince Free Beach Ride to take us to John's Pass a couple times and other restaurants in between. The beach was beautiful, the pool was warm and friendly and even used the gas grills a few times! The balcony provided a perfect setting for the daily sunsets over the water. Red Tide issues aside (not anyone's cause), we had a great month of Florida sunshine and the best facility from which to enjoy. Thanks!

The two car garage was so convenient to drop beach gear in before walking up the few outdoor steps to get to the balcony. The inside was very nice, new living room furniture.
