Striking the perfect balance between cozy comfort and stylish living, this well-appointed farmhouse awaits you in the village of Ellicottville. Whether you are taking in the slope views from the front porch or indulging in a restful night sleep you will feel right at home in the warm and inviting atmosphere.

Bring your fur baby along for the fun! Our dog approved space ensures that mans best friend will enjoy the getaway, too. (Fee applies, please register your furry friend on your reservation.)

The place was relaxing and quiet. The perfect getaway for a week and a half. It was a beautiful drive to buffalo which I had to make the trip for. The house had everything you need. If you bring your pet, Kristie ensures you have everything you need to help them feel welcome. The bed was very comfortable. Kristie was super responsive and helpful on anything we needed. There was the occassional train but the house did mute the sound. The house is close to town. The town has many restaurants to visit and a few music spots. The town comes alive on the weekends for certain!

The home was just a short distance from town, which made everything super convenient! The host was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. The kitchen was beautiful, and we absolutely loved the fire pit — it made for some great evenings. We had an amazing weekend! Thank you so much!

Great Ski Home

This house is in a great location to the ski areas and downtown. It was a short walk to the Main Street and less than 2 miles from the ski mountains. The shops downtown are amazing and have something for everyone. The host was exceptional and inviting. She quickly responded to any questions I had. The home was comfortable and cozy for our family. The attention to detail in the decor and amenities was like no other. I thoroughly enjoyed the coffee bar which provided quality coffee and a variety of flavored creamers. Another favorite was the kids bedroom! The kids were entertained on our downtime with the foosball table! A great experience had by all for the long weekend.

Comfortable and Charming Ski house

Powder Mill did not disappoint! We had a blast over President’s weekend. The home had everything and more! We really appreciated the extra large Brita water filter in the fridge! Powder Mill was exceptionally clean and comfortable. It’s a short walk, on sidewalks, down town! Would definitely stay here again:)

Wonderful!

We had a wonderful weekend at the house. I was a perfect winter getaway, The house was very clean and comfy. We loved the proximity to all that Ellicottville offers. Our son enjoyed the video games. It as also great the we were able to bring our dog with us. We will be back.

Perfect Hallmark Getaway

Coming from Toronto, Canada every time we visit Ellicotville / Holiday Valley it’s a peaceful reminder of the beautiful community and this stay is the perfect match to it. Awesome communication, excellent location, and “homey” house

Perfect for a family ski trip

This was the perfect house for a quick ski trip with the family. It was close enough to town to walk to the shops. The house was clean and had everything we could need for our trip. The kids loved the back bedroom and our dog like watching for deer in the backyard. We can’t wait to come back.

Clean & Cozy!

The property is on a corner lot which provides privacy. Very quiet with an expansive back yard. Just a short walk to all the shops & eateries. Overall very inviting with tons of space. Beds were so comfortable with televisions in each of the rooms. Felt safe & secure. Hope to be back soon!

A gem on the edge of Ellicotville

What a fabulous stay! Great directions. The house is both charming (you can tell there a numerous thoughtful upgrades) and cozy. We had such good nights’ sleep. So much attention to detail - great do’s and don’ts, welcome signage, wifi notes in the BRs, thoughtful snacks for us and the doglegs, amazing coffe bar, great local highlights. Our first visit to Ellicotville. We were in awe. Thank you.

Great house, great weekend!

This was a great house! It was nicely decorated, very clean and comfortable, and had everything that we needed. It also had many special touches like phone chargers on the nightstands, coffee and tea bar, personalized welcome sign and snacks, and dog bowls and treats. Kristie was very quick to respond to any questions that we had. We couldn't have ask for a better stay!

Ellicotville Rock n Roll Weekend getaway

The Powder Mill was exactly as described in the listing, clean, comfortable and welcoming. We loved the close proximity to town and how the owners provided everything we could possibly need, plus lots of extras. Ellicottville is such a fun place and has a lot to offer. We can’t wait to come back.

Perfect getaway weekend!

Nice to meet you! I am from Rochester NY and I love to travel for both business and pleasure. Having been a guest at several VRBO's, I thought I would try my hand at hosting. I enjoy meeting people and hearing about their travel adventures. It is fun for my family and I to learn where people are traveling from. We have a map and mark new states with a pin with each reservation. We are always thrilled when we get visitors from far away.

The beautiful ski resorts and the quaint town with unique shops and restaurants drew us in; it is a destination I have been visiting since high school. However, after spending more than a weekend in town I have fallen in love with everything Ellicottville has to offer. The great outdoors is right in the backyard and I love all the wild life that comes to visit often. We like to golf, hike, bike and of course, ski! Ellicottville has been the perfect place to explore all of our hobbies. Having said that, the biggest impression has been made by the local residents. We have met wonderful people who are kind and generous, and always willing to lend a helping hand.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Our property is the perfect mix of privacy and outdoor space, while also being a quick walk to town. (Ellicottville Brewing Company is one of our favs and it is a 9 min walk!) You get the feel that you are on your own, no foot traffic or noisy cars, but you can still take in gorgeous views of the slopes and even hear the philharmonic during the Fourth of July festivities!

We aim to provide a nostalgic farmhouse feel with all the conveniences expected in lodging today. Each bedroom has a premium mattress and smart TV and the bunk room has a gaming station. A coffee bar; shampoo, conditioner & body wash are all provided along with a boot and glove warming rack. A full kitchen stocked with essentials is available for your use as well.

A deck and fire pit are coming in summer 2024!
