We only stayed 1 night in this property then we requested Expedia to help us to find another property to stay. We could not sleep in this property because the cheap and old air condition was noisy and we could not turn it off. We pushed the power off button, then it turned itself on every half hour or so. The sofa bed made loud squeaky noises when my son twisted and turned because he could not sleep. The floor was dusty in some area and the air had some smell. My wife had allergy and it caused her to sneeze and had running nose. The host of this property had terrible customer service. It is impossible to talk to anyone when I called. I was forwarded to voice box to leave a message each time I called, and no one called me back. Then they texted me several times saying they were able to contact me even though I did not receive any call from them. I could only talked to Expedia customer service trying to get this resolve. Expedia customer service is helping us to get a refund for this property. Hopefully we will receive a refund in about a week or so. They also helped us to find another property near by to stay. We are very happy with the new property they found for us.

5 stars all the way!! Loved this rental unit! My friend Lee recommended Tropical Escapes to me when i was looking for a rental for my family coming to the island from Oregon. I’m so grateful! We really enjoyed our stay here! The room was clean with an amazing view. The AC worked well. There are cooking utensils & plates, cups, etc. so we were able to eat in a few times. Just know that finding parking is challenging, but the area is walkable & near several bus stops. Thank you for the great stay!

Nice place great location

This unit is very nice and met all of our needs. Clean and has great views. The pool was also so nice. There are definitely some deferred maintenance issues such as toilet paper holder and towel racks are loose and the laini needs to have tiles repaired.

The unit was super clean and modern. Loved the appliances in kitchen. Great communication with host. A small hiccup with no hot water in unit for 36 hours but was handled professionally and in a timely matter. The property was close to beaches restaurant and shopping areas. Felt very secure with functioning elevators. Overall a fabulous experience!

Perfect spot for Waikiki beach stay

11 mins walk to Waikiki Beach by Ft. DeRussy is right where we wanted to be. Lots of restaurants nearby, as well as a grocery store. This apt has a perfect view of Diamond Head.

Nice little space

Located in a great spot. Older building and condo, looks newer/fresher in the pics than it is, but that’s ok. tight/small space but we also didn’t need anything big since we just rested and slept there and were out and about all day. Saved us a ton from staying at the resort but still had access to all of the resort and more. Nice quiet pool and deck as well. Check in and out was easy! Would stay again.

Great Location! A tad dirty...

I will start by saying that the communication and check-in/out process was great. The air conditioner, be it a bit loud, was also wonderful. It's in a great place with nearby restaurants and a quick walk to the beach. The floors were not clean (my wife dropped her bag on the ground and the reaction was a small dust cloud)and the baseboards look like they haven't been cleaned in a while. The sheets had a musky smell to them but we found non-smelly sheets in the dresser. The little kitchenette was great and it was nice to have a stocked kitchen with frequently needed items. If the condo was cleaner I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Great Time

The listing on the map was a little different than actual location, but i actually preferred that. Very close to buses and walkable to ala moana center. The lanai and kitchen were a really nice addition to my stay. The floors could’ve been a little cleaner upon arrival.

部屋の床に砂が結構落ちていました。シャワーヘッドは黒カビがひどく、バスタブはありますが、栓が無いため、お湯が張れませんし、バスタブの排水溝に網がなく少し残念でしたが、それ以外は最高でした。 部屋の備品も足りないものがないほど充実してましたし、包丁の切れ味もよく、キッチンでの調理も問題なくできました。 トロリーやバス乗り場に近く、付近に飲食店やお店があり、一階にはATMもありました。ビーチには10分かからない程度で、ラナイからはダイヤモンドヘッドや海も見え、眺めが最高でした。 困った事があれば、すぐ対応していただけましたので、お部屋や、お風呂の掃除がきちんとしていれば、また泊まりたいです。 おすすめです。

Great location

The location was perfect and the price was very reasonable. We had everything we needed. The air conditioner was loud. It cooled down the room very fast, but it did not stay cool so we had to keep it running while we slept and that made it a little difficult to sleep. Otherwise, everything was comfortable and I appreciated the beach chairs and umbrellas provided.

Great location

The location is close to many places and makes for easy walking to various spots in and around Waikiki. The unit is located on the 17th floor and faces Ala Moana so there is a fair amount of noise from the street level but very little noise from within the building. The ventilation in the building isn't great so there are many food smells in the hallway.The unit does need some maintenance as there are some floor tiles are loose and without grout along with uneven surfaces, mismatched colored grout where attempts at repair were made. The bath area where the toilet and tub are located is very cramped, so much that one can't stand in front of the toilet and close the door to the area. The shower head was great and had good water pressure. The sink area located next to the tub and toilet had a nice update to the backsplash (matching the kitchen area) along with updated cabinets as was the case in the kitchen.
