lagoon pools the moment you walk in! This beautifully remodeled second floor unit has a tranquil
coastal theme and has been designed with luxury and comfort in mind. Updated bathrooms, kitchen,
countertops, stainless steel appliances, new furnishings, new mattresses, and beautiful décor. Ideal for
families and couples, this unit features 2 large bedrooms with a King bed in the primary bedroom and 2
full size beds in the second bedroom. Other features include a large walk-in closet, two vanity areas,
two dining areas, large fully stocked kitchen with Keurig coffee maker and washer/dryer. Convenient
desk area provides an easy workspace if needed. Recliners in both the living area and master bedroom

The upgrades to the unit from our last visit were very nice (i.e. paint, new dishes, cleanliness, etc. Our only complaint regarding the unit is the Master Bedroom bed which is so old and soft it is very uncomfortable.

My four children and their families stayed here as well and all of them loved this location! I t is perfect and away from all the traffic but convenient to everything including grocery stores and restaurants, as well as pontoon rentals for trips out to shell island or just cruising around.

Another great trip to Coral Reef 202!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our 9th year at Coral Reef for spring break. 202 is a well maintained unit! It is always clean, beds are comfortable and view is great.It seems like every year there is something that becomes "owners only". Last year it was the common room bathrooms, which I can understand. There are exterior bathrooms that are available near the pool. This is another reason 202 is great, easy to run up and down the stairs for bathroom. This year, we were really frustrated to find the ice machine was available to owners only. May seem silly to be annoyed by this but when bags of ice were 2 for $7 across the street at the gas station you can understand the frustration. Coral Reef is a really nice and quiet property, I would imagine sometimes renters can be bothersome, but continuing to raise weekly rents and taking away amenities may deter renters in the future. We will likely continue to come to Coral Reef. Compared to so many other places on the beach this just can be beat! Just hoping next year there isn't something else that is "owners only".

Whoever did the decorating did a top notch job. Beds were comfortable—sheets weren’t that great so if you’re sensitive about that kind of thing keep that in mind. Balcony was spacious with enough comfortable seating. Kitchen had what we needed. Check in was simple—I arrived after 5 so I called for the code ahead of time and checked in the next morning. We’ve been coming to PCB every year since 2012–this is the first time we said we would definitely book the same condo again.

The Love's Review of Coral Reef in General Unit #202 in Specific

Reviewer Comments: We have been staying at the Coral Reef twice a year for the past 10-years after staying next door at the Summerhouse for ~20-years, and we really enjoy this condo. However, we believe the pool area needs some upgrades on the far end of each pool to add pergola structures to provide at least partially shaded areas with chairs & lounges away from the pools to sit, read and watch the ocean. The pool areas provide very little shade and the covered area at the beach entrance is just too small, with too much traffic, and not really adequate for a quiet relaxing place to enjoy the views.

Disappointing!

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed @ the “Coral Reef” for many years, always had a pleasant experience. This year was a disappointment for sure. The facility was under an exterior makeover. We were not informed of this by the staff. We were unable to use the lobby or fitness room. Chipped paint, cords running everywhere, carpet at the elevator’s dirty. The pool heater was off so the children couldn’t swim. Our room also didn’t have a working passcode, could only use the deadbolt at night. Also in all the years of staying here we have never seen a bug, there was a cockroach in the bathroom.Due to the fact that our 2 year old grandson was sleeping in the master closet we left earlier than planned. The facility was not up to our expectations. We feel the price for the week was excessive. I’m hopeful that the “CoralReef” will be restored to the beautiful place we spent so many vacations in the past.
