Enjoy a private getaway in a luxury home on the Clam River! Sleep in and enjoy sunbathing on the huge deck or grab a kayak and enjoy the 2 hour cruise down the river with the kayaks and inner tubes provided! This home accommodates 10 people comfortably with 5 bedrooms, 4 full bathrooms, and 2 kitchens. Linens, towels, sheets, toiletries are included. Don't forget to have a bom fire every night (firewood included).

Private, Large, and Interesting.

Overall our stay was good. The house is as shown in the pictures. The layout is a little unconventional and the interior décor leads to some great conversations. The river water was cool and clear. The house was clean, the beds were comfortable, and there was lots of space for everyone. The property wasn't very well maintained. The front lawn was mowed down to dirt, and it severely needed some weed waking. The long grass in the flower beds were brushing your knees on your way in... We swept the back deck of spider webs and leaves....The property just really needed about an hour with a leaf blower and a weed Wacker. the owner/manager was very attentive to our needs and worked with us whenever possible. Everyone had a good time at the house.

Beautiful location, spacious home!

Had a great long weekend with friends. The house is very clean and spacious with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway! Location is remote and quiet, but not too far for a run to town. The large porch and balcony made for perfect cookouts with the large fire pits and we had lots of fun playing in the stream. The dam/lake next door is great for swimming and a little kayak ride.

Pictures do not do it justice!

I stayed at Rushing Waters for a fall weekend. The pictures absolutely do not do it justice - the property is very interesting & immaculately clean. The rear of the house has large windows that overlook the river & trees. The patio has a huge pit for bonfire, a swing, & a dock that leads right to the water. The house could have not been more idyllic, especially with the intense fall colors.

Sunny weekend right by the River

We had a wonderful visit to Rushing Waters and appreciated all of the amenities and the “hop right in” location for the refreshing river. We tuned and paddle boarded on Clam Lake and visited TC. The hosts were very accommodating!!

Family weekend

This house is much bigger and more interesting than the listing shows. We loved the unusual, creative, and artsy decorating. There are several great areas to hang out. Well stocked kitchen and easy to work in. All very relaxed and cozy. The owner does not post a lot of rules, which is very welcoming. Overall fantastic.

Lovely home

We spent 3 lovely weeks enjoying the beautiful backyard view of the Clam River. It was quiet, peaceful and relaxing - a welcome change for city folks. The owner is super responsive and easy to deal with. The house is equipped with everything you need. It is clean, welcoming and very comfortable. Highly recommend.

beautiful quiet spot

The home is located right next to a park with dam and swimming hole! The river runs in front of it and we kayaked almost daily. The inner tube down the river takes a lot longer. The space is quiet . The home is lovely . It fit all 10 of us with no problem.It has a kitchen upstairs for breakfasts and downstairs for dinners. Cadillac is 20 mins away . We spent two days on lLake Missaukee and its beaches. The area is quiet. We really enjoyed our stay. Our host was quick to answer questions and not intrusive at all. I would recommend a north woods large family gathering here any time.

The house layout is truly unique and allowed each family unit to have there own space.

The house is located on a private road which is wonderful because it cuts down on traffic. The view of the river is very relaxing.

Great place for a group!

We took our parents as a surprise trip for their 50th wedding anniversary. We had plenty of room and a great time. We unfortunately had a super hot week and the home does not have air. So it did get a bit hot. We did all have a great time. Thanks so much for allowing us to spend this time all together in a beautiful home in a wonderful area.
