Family Mountain Trip
We loved our stay at this property and overall were happy and comfortable! We had three adult couples, one single adult and four children 12-3 years old.
Pros:The location is PERFECT to get to Gatlinburg and easy access to the National Park.
Gorgeous view with wonderful outdoor space/deck!
Plenty of parking.
Plenty of indoor space for everyone to spread out when you are done being around each other for the day, haha!
Game room/movie room were fun additions. Many beautiful details that really make you feel the mountain vacation vibe!
Cons: The week we arrived was VERY hot and upon arrival to the property the air conditioning was broken. Communication with the owner was fast but we were frustrated to know that this is a problem they have had before but hadn’t completely solved. They could not get a technician out until 9am the next morning; understandable, but was very hard to sleep and no offering was made to compensate for this.
The basement shower by the movie room drains so slowly that you are standing in water above your ankle while you shower. (I have not mentioned this to the owner so in fairness they haven’t had an opportunity to address). It would also be nice to have extra bath towels.
Using the tvs was difficult as we couldn’t get the volume to work on the living room tv until we signed in to our own accounts (which they tell you they don’t want you to do). We also had a hard time locating remotes. Only found three total for 6 tvs.
Overall, great stay!!!
