Quiet Retreat

Hot Springs Village provided a quiet, peaceful "stay in and relax" days, but it also was close to Hot Springs and Lake Oachata. We enjoyed something for every member of our family: movies, cooking, sitting outside, games, and plenty of space. Great stay.

So Impressed

Chris did an amazing job keeping in contact with me and even letting me extend my stay. I liked it so much, I stayed for a month. Such a beautiful place and lots of private room, plus a beautiful backyard. I could not have asked for more.

It was a little out dated. Also couldn't get the downstairs tvs to work. The icemaker also had a hard time making ice. The view was nice. Saw many deer.

Very nice vacation

Our family of 4 (mother, grandmother and 2 teens) stayed in this property during spring break. We had a wonderful time. The house is big enough with outside spaces in a very peaceful place. We were happy to see all extras inside: coffee, dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent, paper towels, trash bags, a lot of towels, bedding sets, pillows and more. The owner is super kind and responsive, he gave us a lot of useful information and was ready to help any time. We enjoyed nature and wildlife around, short drive to different lakes, parks and Hot springs. It was our first visit in Arkansas and we absolutely loved it. We hope to come back again.

Was a great place to stay. Suited our needs perfectly.

While we didn’t cook, kitchen adequate equipment. Decks are a little messy, but it’s fall and can’t help the leaves. Decent beds and linens. Beautiful area and great golf courses. We played 5 of the days we were there. There is an “instructions book” But, the information and phone numbers in it were outdated. But we did get ahold of the host and got our problems promptly taken care of. Love this area and am planning on returning. If the property is available, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Not ready for company

The home was shabby. the front door area, stained carpet, minimum kitchen supplies, and wash clothes in the bathroom that were heavily stained- should have been cleaning rags.Never found a way to operate the TV. There were no instructions.The location is difficult to find at night in the dark.

Home base.

Although we were out running the roads to find every swing spot and rock hounding spot within a 200 mile radius the home was very accommodating for us to call home base. Clean and furnished with everything that we would need. Thank you for providing us that. The only thing that I can suggest is to change out the front door lock. The key is hard to turn. You have to wiggle it around a bunch to get it to turn.

Overall stay was great. Family was impressed.

There were a few issues which if corrected would have made my stay perfect..1. The painting on the wall kept falling off the wall for no reason. 2. The ceiling fan lights could not be turned off with fan running. They had to be un screwed. 3. An ironing board and iron would have been nice .4. Had to kill a big warter byg in the shower.
