Looking to get away near the lake with a Gatlinburg look & feel? This cozy cabin is a perfect place whether it is a hunting/fishing trip with buddies, gathering for the holidays or relaxing with the whole family. Its very spacious with a barlike gameroom area perfect to watch the game, play pool, hook to the loud speaker and listen to your tunes. Big sectional couch very comfortable with built-in electric double recliners in living room with pretty fireplace. Big dining area. TV, fan, end table in every room. Jetted tub to relax in Master bath. Plenty of board games for the family. Outside has a big deck with gas grill, cookers, fryers, fridge, deep freezer, fans, tv, 3 tables large sitting arrangements also a fire pit. Wide parking lot for all parking needed for your vehicles, and boat trailers. Easy access to charge your boat. It has a basketball goal with a wide range of pavement to play basketball or throw a football. less than mile to the boat ramp. We try to give our guests the best experience and provide everything needed during their stay. We also provide free bags of ice for your cooler upon request prior to booking, that way it's in the deep freeze when checked in and ready for you. There's also a king size air mattress stored if needed for an extra sleeping arrangement.

The property only had a 1/2 roll of toilet paper in both bathrooms 1/2 roll of paper towels and no extra garbage bags for a family of 5 for the weekend. Talked with the host and she said she would take of it on Friday, when i left on Sunday no one showed up had to purchase toilet paper, paper towels and garbage bags. The home was nice the owner needs a better person looking after the property. The washing machine was full of laundry that smelled like its been there for a minute.

Family Gathering

The property was on point as described. We enjoyed the location and it was well appointed. The pool table was a big hit! There are several nice restaurants nearby. The owners were great to work with and we plan to make another visit in the future. Awesome property!

Well there isn’t a jacuzzi and the 2 minute walk to the the water turned out to be trespassing. Other than that it’s a nice place. But we were expecting a jacuzzi and we were trying to fish.

The property just fit what we needed it for. We were able to relax and enjoy family. We like to bird watch. The property is not on the water but across the road. We were able to see parts of the water. Bald eagles, osprey, geese, herons, and a white pelican that hadn’t gotten up to the northern states for summer. I would rent the property again!

A very relaxing weekend!

My boyfriend and I took our little dog for a little getaway before our busy season. We thoroughly enjoyed everything about our stay! We loved sitting on the porch just watching the scenery and talking. Spent a good amount of time between the pool table and jacuzzi tub! My boyfriend enjoyed relaxing on the steps, strumming one of the guitars in suite while I and our pup enjoyed exploring the area! The surrounding area is absolutely covered with tiny flowers and some good rock hunting! We were so comfortable here during our stay and had every single comfort of home! Thank you so much for hosting us! My boyfriend plays in a pool league back home and we are planning a boys' trip for them to come back as a group 😊

DO NOT RENT HERE! BAIT & SWITCH!It is NOT “Lakeview” and NO LAKE ACCESS and the neighbors have posted NO TRESPASSING signs to keep the owner’s guests from THEIR lakeview and access. The TVs didn’t work on arrival and I was told guests are expected to use their own TV login account. The porch and grill were FILTHY so we didn’t use them, and the owner’s helper knew it but didn’t clean it for our stay. The owner has THREATENING “NO TRESPASS, NO TURNAROUND, WILL PROSECUTE” SIGNS OUTSIDE WITH CAMERAS EVERYWHERE, though this house at way down a single lane road with NO PLACE TO TURNAROUND unless pulling in a driveway, and bring your own coffee, paper towels, and any essentials because there was little or none, as well as a cluttered kitchen…all put in previous GUEST COMPLAINTS IGNORED BY THE OWNER. We had planned to stay four nights but on arrival, we found another TRUE LAKEVIEW CABIN the last two nights so we only stayed two nights…the owner would NOT REFUND and was RUDE BY EMAIL, as he knows he’s running a BAIT & SWITCH with NO PHOTOS OF THE “LAKEVIEW” BECAUSE ITS ACTUALLY A VIEW ON A NEIGHBOR’s HOUSE THAT HAS A LAKEVIEW. He has signs on the door saying “people confuse lakeview and lakefront”…ITS NEITHER. I don’t believe the good reviews…likely self posted. There are many good options at PickWick…DO NOT STAY HERE unless you expect the above.

Nice Stay, Minor Adjustments Needed

The environment was great. However, we had to troubleshoot the tv remotes. There were absolutely too many remotes and for the sake of organization, they should remove the extras. We also had to use our own subscriptions because only so many TVs could use it. It would have been nice to have paper towels and a decent supply of dishwashing detergent. We did run out of tissue as well. Luckily, we brought extra. I would have loved to sign the guestbook, but it was not available to sign. In spite of these minor setbacks, the overall accomodations, as far as space and aesthetics, it made for a great time with friends.

Pictures are spot on

My parents, adult son, husband and I stayed two nights at the property. It was raining the whole time, but we went there to spend time together and to attend a car show. The show was rained out, so we spent a lot more time than we'd anticipated at the house. We played a lot of pool, the guys watched a football game, and a couple of people from the car club came out to spend time with us. The only reason this listing didn't get five stars is that there was only one roll of toilet paper, no paper towels, and no garbage bags. It was clean, the bedding didn't smell like laundry soap. That's an important point, I am VERY sensitive to smells and have had reactions to sleeping on sheets washed in harsh chemicals. That was not the case here, for which I am very appreciative. There could have been better organization in the kitchen. That's just me being picky though. We had a very enjoyable time! You really feel like you're off in the middle of nowhere, when there's a grocery store about a half (?) a mile away. It was very easy to get the keys, and the owner provided his cell number (on a table inside) for us to call if we needed anything. From the little interaction I had with him he was very pleasant and friendly.
