The Space:
Welcome to Onyx A Frame, a captivating modern escape in the heart of the Northern Catskills, where the breathtaking backdrop of towering evergreens and tranquil woodland vistas sets the stage for this secluded upstate retreat.

As you wind your way through picturesque country roads, passing by breathtaking mountain vistas, anticipation builds until you reach your destination—the sleek and stylish Onyx A Frame.

This newly built cabin is tucked into a woodland clearing, providing privacy and peaceful forest views from every window. The cabin's captivating design features soaring ceilings that reach 29 feet at the apex, and a wall of windows facing northwest that washes the open concept living areas in soft natural light.

The main level boasts polished concrete floors and seamlessly connects the living area, dining space, and kitchen into an inviting and well-designed space. The bright living area offers plenty of space for friends and family to lounge for games or movie nights with large plush couches and flat screen TV. The kitchen is adorned with sleek black finishes, metal cabinetry, tiled backsplash, and a floating island with additional seating.

Retreat to one of two beautiful guest bedrooms on this level, each offering queen-sized beds and glass sliders leading to a side yard with enchanting wooded views. The shared guests bathroom is elegantly finished with a floating sink and glass shower enclosures.

Venture upstairs to discover the lofty primary suite, a tranquil oasis featuring a king-sized bed, vaulted ceiling, double-closet, and a private bathroom. With scandi-inspired blonde maple plywood flooring and railings, the modern aesthetics are complemented by panoramic views of the surrounding forest.

Outside the front sliding door entry, a deck offers the perfect vantage point to soak in the serene forest setting or stargaze beneath the night sky.

When you’re visiting Round Top, you’ll find a wonderful selection of local restaurants and breweries to explore. For a cozy breakfast or brunch experience, the Log Cabin Cafe in nearby Purling offers a charming, nostalgic atmosphere perfect for families, serving fluffy pancakes and Green Mountain Coffee alongside classic breakfast fare. For a taste of classic American cuisine with a Scandinavian twist, Julia’s Local is a must-try, offering a menu sourced from their own garden and local purveyors. If you’re in the mood for German food and a festive atmosphere, Mountain Brauhaus at Crystal Brook Resort and Nussy’s Bier Garten at Riedlbauer’s Resort are both excellent choices, especially during Oktoberfest. Getting Around:
Onyx A Frame is just 2.5 hours to New York City and guests can travel around by car as it is a rural area with limited public transportation.

In the winter, we recommend a car with four-wheel drive that can handle the snow and gravel roads.
