LOCATION: Beach Walk, Shipyard, Island Areas, Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, USA (40 minutes from Savannah, GA. 90 minutes from Charleston, SC) Airport of choice Savannah, GA.

ACCOMMODATIONS: 2000 square foot Villa, 3 Bedrooms + sleeper sofa, 3.5 Baths, sleeps 6-9.

DESCRIPTION: Our Beachwalk villa is a perfect vacation spot for families, golfers, tennis players and swimmers. Located across from the Sonesta hotel in Shipyard Plantation. Out our back door walk 10' to the private pool and or 10' to the path leading to the beach. Our villa is just a short walk to Van der Meer Tennis Resort and the many bike trails.

Recent updates include new "hardwood tile" floors, new tile backsplash, new stainless steel appliances, new mattresses, new couches, new dinning room table and chairs, new light fixtures and other small appliances. Our villa is meant to feel like your second home! It's equipped with an open kitchen, relaxing back living room, great for gathering with a large flat screen TV, washer and dryer, and deck for lots of sun soaking. This Villa is uniquely designed with a breakfast solarium looking out onto the treed pool area.

All bedrooms are on the second floor. Of the three bedrooms, two have private full bathrooms and the third bedroom has access to the full bathroom in the hall, also on the second floor. For convenience, there is a half bath on the main floor.

Our Beachwalk Villa also provides a private swimming pool for the guests of Beachwalk. From our deck walk 10 steps to the right and you are at the pool gate and go 10 steps to the left and you are at the path to the Beach which is a 5 minute walk away. Our Villa is at the entrance of the Beachwalk complex and provides a very comforting vacation spot for its guests.

If you know Hilton Head, it's a beautiful setting amongst towering oaks, Spanish moss trees, palmetto palms, close to the famous Harbour Town, great dining, over 30 golf courses and the best tennis facilities in the East. Also 45 minutes to Savannah, Georgia and 90 minutes to Charleston.

What a great long weekend getaway! It rained the ENTIRE time we were there, but we enjoyed the condo and its great location!Lots of room to spread out, close to beach access, and private! This would be a fabulous place to stay with kids and teens, as you can sit on the porch and watch them at the pool!Would definitely stay here again!!

We could not have been more happy with this property! The convenience of the pool and the wonderful shaded path to the beach really made out stay the best it could possibly be. The home was incredibly clean and all of the rooms felt like just the right size with all of the necessary amenities. We've already talked about reserving again next year!

perfect location

Beautiful home in awesome location!

The house is great, overlooking the pool and a short walk from the beach. We’ve been coming to Hilton Head for years and this was one of our favorite spots.

Wonderful family vacation. Easy check in, kitchen had everything we needed to cook several meals. Publix nearby. Enjoyed being close to the pool just steps away. A very nice paved path and a 5 minute walk to the beach was easy and convenient. Restrooms and showers at the beach. Lifeguards present. Big beautiful beach, found many shells. Condo was nicely decorated and comfortable for all of us. Washer and dryer was super helpful. We would love to stay here again.

Spacious and near everything

We enjoyed our stay and found navigating around the island easy. The unit was very spacious with plenty of room to enjoy the company of your traveling companions but also to find a bit of privacy when desired. We enjoyed its proximity to Coligny Beach, shops and restaurants.

October Fall Vacation

Our stay in Hilton Head, SC was very nice for the month of October. The weather was perfect every day, between 75 and 80 degrees. We both had a much needed relaxing vacation.

Great Vacation

My family and I had a wonderful stay. We have stayed in HHI serval times. This was the best location. I don't think you can get much closer to the beach and the pool. Steps away from the pool and one of the shortest walks to the beach path. Easy check in, great communication with the owner. Would definitely recommend.

It was a pleasure. Quiet and relaxing but close to all activities and restaurants. The home we stayed in was very comfortable. Communications with the owners was excellent and very helpful.

Will definitely come back!

The place honestly exceeded our expectations. Great walk distance to the beach. The community pool was well kept and clean. Most places we went to were within 10min drive. The place also had a pack and play for our toddler to sleep in! Besides some issues during our check-in, this place and the host were excellent! 100% recommend for families with young and old!

Great stay

Had everything our family of 5 (plus 3 yr old and infant) needed. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable air conditioning (rooms upstairs nice and cool), washer/dryer, brand new pack and play, several games and plenty of room for our group to spread out. The beach was about a 5 min walk and the pool was literally out the back door. Hoping to come back next year!

Great location

We had a great stay here; the location is great for walking to the beach. The house was clean and the kitchen/living room area has been nicely updated. Only minor complaint was that the outdoor deck space was a bit dirty/full of leaves when we arrived - would be nice to have that swept out before a new guest arrives. Otherwise, great to experience and Kathleen communicated well before and during our visit.

Everything you could ask for

The property is situated close to the pool, bike path and ocean. It was very nice to go for an evening stroll down to the beach. Under a 5 minute walk to get there. The close proximity of the pool made it so convenient when my family, which included two children under 5, came for their holidays. It was also beneficial having two living areas and being able to designate one as the children's play area.I can't say enough good things about this property. I would highly recommend it for a truly fabulous family vacation.I also want to thank Kathleen for being a wonderful host and for replying to my email enquiries within minutes.

Christmas in Hilton Head

This was our 33rd Christmas in Hilton Head. The first 30 were as time-share owners. We are very familiar with Hilton Head in general, many of the golf courses, and Shipyard Plantation in particular having played Galeon/Brigatine/Clipper around 200 times over the years as we come from a golfing family and usually stay 2 weeks. We enjoyed this property and will book it again in the future. The layout works with 3 bedrooms and full bathrooms upstairs away from the hustle and bustle in the living room and kitchen so people can sleep in or have quiet time away from each other. The property has been recently updated, has beautiful flooring on the lower level, and is very clean. Full size washer and dryer on first floor utility room off of half bath works much better than other rentals with combo stacked washer/dryer. Although we were here for 2 weeks over Christmas and didn't get to use it due to the winter temperatures, the community pool is just a few steps off the back porch. Has propane grill off of deck. Just a very short walk to the beach. No bikes with unit but rentals are always cheap. Easy bike ride to Coligny Plaza. Owner has front door on electronic keypad so you don't need to keep track of keys just the code in you head/phone. They do change the code right at checkout time so be prudent on your departure (we had a dead car battery and while waiting on AAA for 2 hours, got locked out but a quick phone call to the owner got us back in).
