The property was better than the pictures: clean, nice layout and good location. We enjoyed the outside area with the Pergola, lights and barbecue. We arrived early and I wanted to see if we could use beach passes - the person at the property allowed us early access to use the rental which was a big win for us!The owner offered great recommendations for food and fun.
We walked two houses away to enjoy beautiful sunsets at the bay.

Peaceful, convenient and comfortable

We were very pleased with the comfort of the accommodations. We were 5 adults and one small child. The space was well equipped and also surprisingly quiet even with other tenants on the second floor.

Wonderful vacation!

We highly recommend this delightfully comfortable and charming house by the bay! It was super clean, roomy, well appointed, and perfect for a family beach vacation. We’ve stayed in many areas of LBI over the years, but this was our first time in Ship Bottom. We loved it! There were shops, fishing, mini-golf, good food, and of course the beach. We also loved relaxing by the bay, just steps away, to take in the sunsets. A perfect place to make great memories!

Our Spot

This quaint little beach home has become our late summer spot. Lori is very easy to talk to and we have been very pleased with each of the last three years spent here…so we keep coming back. The unit is always clean and comfy. Nice street close to the bay- so much in walking distance. We love it here.

Great location

My family just stayed at this lovely beach house. The location was ideal.... steps to the bay for beautiful sunsets and a couple of blocks to the beach, shops, mini golf and ice cream. The house was fully stocked, and the owners couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. We look forward to coming back! Thanks, Lori!

Very comfortable

The first floor of the house is very comfortable, clean, quiet, and fairly well stocked; although there was only one beach chair and the umbrella needs to be replaced. The location is excellent with access to a bay beach and an easy walk to the ocean beach. I find the lock box a challenge to use.

A great time had by all

We had a lovely few days in Ship Bottom. The house was clean, comfortable, and in a great location - walking distance to the beach, ice-cream shop, liquor store, and a fishing pier. Our family of four had plenty of room and enjoyed eating our meals on the deck with our extended family who stayed in the upstairs apartment. The kids especially loved the fire for making smores. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and the outside shower was great for rinsing off sandy children.

Great week at a great house!

This house was in a perfect location. Short walking distance to the beach and everything else (seafood market, liquor store, ice cream, etc). We enjoyed watching the sunset at the bay every night. We also enjoyed grilling and hanging out in the backyard. This house was wonderful. Would totally book again!

Great first experience

This was the first time our families traveled for a beach trip, and this house was perfect! It came with everything we needed for the beach, perfect walking distance to everything, and Lori was a pleasure to work with as well! If we ever make it back to Jersey, this will be the only house we stay at!

Two Thumbs Up!

This house was perfect. It had everything we needed and more. Even though we brought our own beach stuff it was nice to see the house had a lot of stuff you could use as well, like chairs, an umbrella and even a bike. We enjoyed using the area in the back of the house too to hang outside at the picnic table. It was another great week in LBI, I would definitely recommend!

Clean and Comfortable Beach House

We had a fantastic time staying at this property! The property was clean and ready for us to settle in upon check-in. We were steps away from the bay and no more than three blocks from a gorgeous beach. I was a little apprehensive being a party of six (prior to arrival). However, this was the perfect space to spend the week with your family. I would recommend this property to anyone with a family who wants to spend a week at the beach! Looking forward to staying at this place again in the future!

Very nice

Very nice house. I liked that it was only one floor great for people with knee and hip problems. The decor was great and all appliances worked fine. Close to beach and shops.

Quiet and Relaxing Stay

The rooms are very clean, kitchen is spacious and outdoor patio area is perfect for cooking breakfast and grilling burgers outside. The beach is only about two blocks away and we loved how beach chairs and boogie boards were available for use. The area is very peaceful and just a short walk from restaurants, cafes, and ice cream shops. This was our first stay and we hope to come back next summer!

Classic and comfortable LBI property in a great location

I used to visit LBI as a child, we took advantage of a visit to New Jersey to return and were delighted with Lori's home. We booked the first floor and found it more than adequate for our party of four, with a well equipped kitchen enabling leisurely breakfasts at home. There are plenty of worthwhile destinations (like the ocean) in easy walking distance, and we visited many... thanks for a great weekend!

Beautiful home, perfect location!

We rented Lori's home for two summers, for the full season. We love this home. It was perfect for our family of 4, and was even plenty of room when my parents would join us. It is bright and airy, and spotlessly clean. It has a great laundry room with access to the back yard. If you have young kids, this is the perfect house. No stairs to climb, and a great outdoor shower. After the beach, it was so easy to rinse off the kids in the outside shower, and throw our towels right into the washing machine in the laundry room, no need to worry about tracking sand into the house. The location is the best on the island. It's a quiet street, again perfect for families. It's an easy walk to the beach, and also very close to a great bay beach and playground. There is pizza, ice cream, and mini golf right at the end of the street. I highly recommend this home!
