Unfortunately we were notified day of travel in that the pool would be unusable. They greatly disappointed us and we had no time or resources to move to another rental with a pool. We were offered a discount back but this was so unfortunate and felt like the timing was manipulative, whether by the owner or property management company, so they wouldn't miss out on rental income. The view was wonderful and the messaging back and forth was prompt for any questions or needs.

Aloha — thank you for your review of Hale Mahina B402 and for staying with Stay Aloha Properties. I’m sorry the pool was unusable and that you were notified on the day of travel — that timing was understandably disappointing. We did offer a discount, but I know that didn’t make up for the inconvenience. The closure was due to an unexpected issue; we’ve reported this to the owner/building management/HOA and is completely out of out control as we do not manage the resort. We did also offer you to move elsewhere for a full refund as VRBO would have assisted and you declined. Most of the guests were understanding since they understood its outside of the hosts control. Mahalo!

This unit is in a superb location, with beautiful oceanfront views, restaurants, and stores all within walking distance. There are also bus stops right in front of the unit, and the beach is just steps away everything is so convenient!The condo itself is super comfortable and cozy. Don’t let the fact that there’s no AC fool you the condo stayed cool with the two large ceiling fans and the fresh ocean breeze. At night, we only needed a light cover, which was perfect.The unit was also stocked with everything we needed for the beach, including beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, a cooler, and more. It made enjoying the beach so easy! If you want to explore other beaches, Napili Beach is only about a 5-minute drive, and Kaanapali is about 7 minutes in the other direction.The property manager was incredibly nice, helpful, and accommodating. The host was just as wonderful and always quick to respond to any questions or concerns. We truly appreciated how easy and stress free they made everything.We had a wonderful stay and absolutely loved our time here. When we come back with the kids, we will definitely stay here again! Highly recommend this condo for a relaxing and convenient Maui getaway!

A lovely well equipped condo: great to watch the whales from the balcony. We had stayed at Hale Mahina a few times before and this was by far the best condo we stayed in. Tried to book for next year but sadly not available.

We last stayed at Hale Mahina 10 years ago, in a different unit. This unit is exactly as described/pictured. The beach area is a little smaller than we remember it, but that can’t be helped by the condo. The pool area is kept very clean and it’s very comfortable to relax in after a long day of activities.

The view from the balcony was amazing. It is whale season and we had a great vantage point to watch them every morning and evening! The condo was well equipped with everything we needed. The road traffic was a little noisy at times from the downstairs room but we still enjoyed our stay.

Everything was as advertised! Great view and really enjoyed listening to the ocean from the loft bedroom. We love Hale Mahina, stayed in several units but this was our first time in the 2 bedroom condos. Had a great experience and miss it already!

This condo was perfect for our stay and had amazing features! It was very clean, organized, and overall a beautiful place with a gorgeous balcony overlooking the ocean, access to a pool, hot tub, and the beach, and was very peaceful. It perfectly accommodated my family and the host was extremely gracious and welcoming.

We had a great stay. The condo was nice. Loved the view from our balcony and on the beach. There were ants in the kitchen and bathrooms when we arrived. The elevator was broken for the first couple days of our stay and there isn’t a door or curtain to the bathroom upstairs so there isn’t a lot of privacy. Not a big issue for us but could be for others. Loved the bath products just wish they had a name on them so I could bring some home! 100% would stay again.

Paradise! Most beautiful place we have ever stayed.
