It's worth it

We stayed one month (from mid march to mid april) and enjoyed our time. Condo was great and the resort well mainained. This is a modern condo very well kept and very clean. The condo is exactly as you see in the pictures. The owners, Denay and Jorge, and their manager on site, Victor, will do everything they can to make you enjoy your stay. The pools and the beach are very nice with warm water temparature. It's worth it. Pierre

More than we could have hoped for!

We had an extended stay, 6 weeks, and we loved every moment of it. The condo is exactly as you see in pictures, well, even better. When you open the front door the view that greets you is amazing. And once all the windows are open, the outside becomes part of the inside. The condo has everything you need to have a wonderful stay. The beds are so comfortable, and the kitchen is so well stocked. We cooked most meals, using the barbeque many nights, and even the crock pot came in handy. Groceries are no problem either, as it is about a 20 minute walk, and the Mega is a wonderful store. The owners have everything you might need. They even have booklets with so much information, about the condo, as well as restaurants and interesting sights to see. Once a week we would go out to one of the many restaurants in the area, and always had a wonderful meals. We also went whale watching, and we were able to take part in releasing baby turtles, which is just up the beach. Relaxing was also so easy at the huge infinity pools, or even the lap pool by the beach, which was where we usually spent our time. As nice as the pools were, we loved the ocean and the water was so warm, and the rolling waves were so fun. You could even use the boogie boards that were in the condo, and we always brought the small cooler from the condo for cold drinks. We cannot think of anything bad to say about this condo, or the location. And even better are the owners, who are so thorough, and helpful, not to mention, very quick to reply to any questions or concerns.

McIlvenna's in Mexico

So we arrive In Nuevo Vallarta and enter the condo. Pictures don't do it justice. The place is kept clean, orderly, and uncluttered. There were 4 of us, and with the 2 bedroom, 3 bed set, 2 bathroom set up, it was perfect. Everything you need, including laundry, is included. The grounds, particularly the pool are stunning. We loved the 3, large opening sliding doors, which opens practically one whole side of the condo up, bringing the breeze and the salt air into the atmosphere. One night my daughter slet out on the veranda. There are no large crowds, probably the most people we saw at the pool was 20 folks- that's allot of room and privacy. There is a gate that leads directly to the ocean and the hardest decision to make is whether to go left or right. The ocean is hard pack sand with absolutely nothing on the bottom, and you can walk out approximately 80 or so yards into the very warm water. I would highly recommend a car (use Gecko in Bucerias), as downtown Puerto Vallarta is approximately 25 minutes and Nuevo Vallarta is about 10 minutes. We had a VW Jetta for 8 days that cost us $325 US and filled up only once, which was prior to returning it (about $18 US). We were definetely on the go. The surrounding hotels are all-inclusive so you will have to leave the condo site to dine at the endless list of restaurants. We love Mexico, it's climate, it's people, it's warmth and have chosen it over Hawaii for our tropical getaway. The US dollar has very strong value, we love the haggling at the flea markets, love, love, love the food, especially the little 'holes in the wall'. The Mexican people are so accomodating and helpful that we as Americans can forget what genuine humanity really is. Most of our friends won't visit Mexico because of what they hear in the media concerning the dangers. We were there with our 20 and 16 year old daughters and never once did we feel threatened or in danger (we live in Antioch, CA so we ar in a much more dangerous area than Puerto). We only saw Americans a few times, and that was in downtown Vallarta and some of the tours. We were expecting more of a confluence of Americans and Canadians as our previous visits to Mexico have been to Cancun. I highly recommend the stay here, you will not be disappointed and staying at such a comforting condo to use as a home base only makes the vacation so much more relaxing.

Gorgeous with Great Vibes!

My husband and I stayed at this amazing condo for 10 days, and I can honestly say of all the many places I've stayed at in many parts of Mexico over the years, this is by far the sweetest space. There is such a fresh, happy feeling in this condo, with the amazingly tasteful furnishings, and decorative touches throughout. I am really sensitive to energy, and all I can say is this place felt GREAT! It's obvious a lot of care went into creating something really beautiful, and special for guests. And beyond how gorgeous the place is, it is so practical for people who don't want to have to eat out for all their meals. With a kitchen much better equipped than my own at home, we cooked breakfast every morning, and usually lunch as well. The view of the ocean from both rooms is truly breathtaking, and magical, and permeates the whole space. And the washing machine and dryer turned out to be really handy, since we ended up needing to do a load of laundry during our stay. And.... the movie box was SO fun! We watched movies almost every night, since the selection was so great, and the screen is so nice and big! Believe it or not, we actually did leave the condo occasionally (!), and I really appreciated all the owner's tips on great places to go and things to do. And the infinity pools are seriously the nicest I've ever experienced, and are HUGE, which is great when you're wanting to do laps. We also appreciated the nice street and area the condo is located, especially for long walks around the area, which we did every morning. As far as where to eat, we highly recommend the new Argentinean restaurant in old town, Puerto Vallarta. And as far as coffee houses go, we really loved the Starbucks nearby in Nuevo Vallarta, in the Paradise Plaza mall. And the nicest beach: San Pancho. Funnest tour: Ritmos de la Noche! I definitely recommend renting a car, and appreciate the owner's guiding us to do this, and where to rent from.

Tropical Paradise Quiet Retreat

Recipe for a great tropical vacation: 3 gorgeous,Infinity pools that are immaculately kept up; miles and miles of pristine, sandy beaches right outside your door; and a "Martha Stewart" 2 bedroom; 2 bath condo suppled with EVERYTHING you can think of (truly)! View the pix which will give you some hint of this beautiful quiet vacation spot. We were glad we rented a car (as recommended). We used it to explore nearby Puerto Vallarta (beaches at condo were far prettier) and other nearby beautiful spots. Wonderful vacation.

Über fun!

When we embarked upon our journey to stay at this property, we could never have envisioned how beautiful it truly is and how helpful everyone on site is, including the property management (can't find the fan switch, someone will come up and help you locate it) security, beachfront workers etc. We came to love them all during our week. The unit is beautiful, brand-new furniture, stocked with every amenity you could possibly need to dine in, if you so desire. And yes you can drink the water! Their water filtration system is spectacular. The pictures absolutely do not do this place justice. Beds so comfortable, that you don't want to get out of them… luxury linens and towels. However the ocean breezes and the lure of fun takes you away. You do not even need to bring your own beach bag or beach towel, or boogie board, everything is right in the unit at this beautiful property. If we need to do a load of laundry, we had that option available to us as well. Infinity pools, lap pools, ocean front couch/bed seating and hammocks to rest in, this property has it all. As I passed some of the other units, I could tell that the unit we were in, was put together by someone with extremely good taste and the love of beautiful luxury items, it is gorgeous! Working with the owner in setting up this trip, it was absolutely amazing, as the owners provided us with a handful of tips and money-saving ideas and local places that we should check out. They certainly steered us the right direction, and we found so many wonderful gems of restaurants and activities that the normal visitor would not have found. SAFETY: DO NOT EVEN WORRY ABOUT IT! I don't know where all the rumors started about how Mexico is supposed to be so unsafe. Every place that I and my best friend, female traveling companion visited was super safe. We traveled up and down Banderas Bay, downtown Puerto Vallarta, sleepy villages, etc at all hours of the day and night. Most impressive is the beautiful mile long, Malecon, Puerto Vallarta's beachfront boardwalk, which is lined with beautiful shops and clubs and eateries. Hello one dollar margaritas and coronas. We found malls, that put the ones in California to shame. Hello food court and three dollar American movies, that just recently came out! NEVER ONCE DID I FEEL UNSAFE. We will definitely be back, this is a beautiful unit to spend a fun girls or guys week or two or have a romantic getaway or some good old family fun. Pack light, this unit has it all!

Fantastic!!

Our stay here was nothing short of amazing. It was clean, comfortable and a paradise away from home. Very quick walk to the beach and easy access to surrounding events. It felt safe and we never had any issues. We had a great time and would recommend anyone to vacation and stay here! It was a trip we will never forget and somewhere I would want to stay at everytime we visit.

Our condo is furnished with everything you may possibly need. We set it up as a fully-functional second home with many of the same comforts and amenities of our home in California, NOT as a typical rental condo with cheap furniture and throw-away basics. Financially we do not need to rent out our condo for extra income, but as a family we have decided that we want to share this gem and the beauty of Mexico with others, to include our family, close friends, and new friends like you! We hope and fully expect that those who rent out our condo will treat it, as well as all of its furnishings and contents, with the same love and gentle care as you would your own home. If we find that the first few renters who enjoy our condo are gentle on it and leave it in good, clean condition, then we will make the choice of continuing to offer it here on VRBO for rent so that more vacationers can enjoy its beauty and amenities and come back year after year for relaxation and fun.
