Very cute, perfect people watching location. right above a bakery so we went to sleep smelling fresh baked goods and waking up to the same smell. Very comfortable beds as well.

This place was amazing! Was even nicer than the pictures! Great balcony, amazing pastries & cookies from the bakery downstairs, and perfect access to everything within a short walk. Very clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back! Huge thanks to the host that made this such an enjoyable and memorable stay!

Great Location

This property was as described and the location was perfect. It was within walking distance to all the shops and restaurants downtown. We had a great time. I would definitely recommend it.

Perfect location!!!!

We celebrated our daughter’s college graduation with a total of 6 . Plenty of room and the balcony was nice to sit out on and visit . We also booked with Wine-Heimer wine tours Duane aka JD and had a blast! We will definitely book here again!!!!!

Great Time in Fredricksburg

We really loved the property. It was clean, well decorated, spacious, and really comfortable. The best amenity however, was the bakery downstairs!

Girls annual get away

This is a hidden gem on Main Street. It is like being in a Hallmark movie. Everything was perfect. The smells from the bakery below were the so intoxicating. The bakery below has the best German desserts.

Amazing place for a girls weekend

Spent two nights with a bunch of girlfriends and we had an amazing time. The process was sooo easy. The location was perfect for walking everywhere. The place itself was beautiful and so comfortable. We had a great time having out in the many relaxing spaces including the balcony. Will definitely be back. Also you can smell the bakery each night and morning and it was amazing.

Girls trip

We loved this place. Balcony was our favorite to watch people, have cocktails and girl talk. There is a bakery downstairs, which was amazing. The whole rental smelled amazing 😊. We had an amazing time in this amazing place! Thank you!

Perfect spot

There were only 4 of us so plenty of space. We spend mornings and nights on the balcony over looking the Main Street. It was perfect. Even better is that you are in the middle of everything so walking to each place we wanted to go was easy! The bakery below was delicious! Already planning our trip for next year! Space was clean and adorable.

Amazing Mother's Day Weekend Stay

We are blessed to travel frequently and this might have been the first VRBO that approached perfection. The location is amazing for anyone visiting downtown Fredericksburg. Our group of five ranged from 16 to 77, everyone was incredibly pleased. A couple of small things to note for further guests. First, the front bathroom (closest to the street) was either haunted or it's plumbed backwards - hot is cold and cold is hot. Second, the front bedroom (overlooking the street) is great but, it's not quiet. If someone in your party is a light sleeper they should sleep in the other bedroom.

Great location

Two couples and our teenage daughter met in Fredericksburg for Thanksgiving weekend and we had a lovely time staying here! We parked our car for the weekend and never needed it as we walked to all the shops and restaurants! It’s a beautiful place and very comfortable and cozy! Each bedroom had very comfortable beds and each bedroom had own bathroom. There were two separate living areas. The balcony was huge and had plenty of seating! The only warning is that if you are staying in the bedroom that faces the street, you might want to bring some noise canceling devices as the cars driving down Main Street can distract you if you are a light sleeper. Still, it’s a perfect location and we would definitely stay here again!

Location, Location, Location

Five of my girlfriends & I stayed at this fabulous property this past weekend for a girls getaway and what a getaway it was! Not only was this Main Street property in the HEART of downtown Fredericksburg, but it was located directly above the most fantastic family-owned bakery. The property was exactly as described in the listing - both bathrooms had been recently updated with each having walk-in showers and yet the \property still had the "charm" that a historic/older property has. While we had several items on our weekend agenda, we found ourselves enjoying the property so much that we actually stayed inside (or out on the balcony) more than we normally do in a rental! The smells from the bakery making their way upstairs to the residence was devine and the couple who owned the bakery could not have been any sweeter! I will definitely be back to this charming property sooner rather than later!

Clean & Convenient

We were interested in this property because of its view of Main Street and its proximity to the many activities in the area. Prior to booking, I asked about parking and was told there were designated spots in the rear but that we could unload in the front. Upon arriving, we were greeted by a 10-foot inflatable Halloween cat taking up the entire left side of the balcony (not shown in the listing photos). As far as parking in the rear, the designated spot that we were told to park in was occupied and most other spots near the building were reserved for employees of nearby shops. Overall, the property was clean and very convenient to Main Street. However, the listing photos and parking situation did not match with what we found when arriving.
