Las grandes ventanas y una preciosa terraza ofrecen oportunidades ilimitadas para la vida silvestre y la observación meteorológica. La cubierta incluye muebles de patio y una parrilla de gas. La cocina, comedor y sala de estar cuenta con una chimenea de madera y ofrece una gran oportunidad para hacer la preparación de comida un evento social. La gran sala de familia de nivel inferior presenta una chimenea de gas, cómodos asientos y un gran televisor de pantalla perfecta para ver el gran juego o hipnotizar a los niños con una película favorita. It is getting a little tired though and needs a good house cleaning like cleaning the blinds. They have a lot of dust as well as the fans. For the price they charge for cleaning after your stay.

We were set up for a great time by the thoughtful owners and friendly mgmt company. House was comfortably furnished, well cared for, and in a beautiful spot in the forest.

Great layout

Perfect for our family vacation. The kitchen was well stocked with anything you would need. The layout of the house was perfect for our five adults and 5 kids ages 7 to 2. Will be visiting again. Go Irish!

Secluded retreat

Pros: House was very nice and well set up. There are 3.5 bathrooms with the master bath having a separate toilet from the sink/shower/bathtub. The downstairs bathroom had the sink separate from the shower/toilet which made getting ready in the morning convenient. There was good lighting throughout the house. The deck was large and had covered and uncovered sections. The house was surface clean, but not spotless. Property managers were nice.

Beautiful Home, Excellent Location

This property was immaculately clean upon arrival and was perfect for our group. Could easily accommodate 10+ people. The community is wonderfully private and close to the slopes. Davis and Thomas are an easy drive for dinner as are the Falls, hiking, and Canaan. The added bonus was access to the wilderness at the top of the development. 10/10 would stay again.

It was very clean and well-maintained. We did have problems with the oven, but I let management know it needed repairs. We used it, but found we couldn’t depend on it. But the grill worked, and I used a huge crock pot that was there, so we did fine. We will definitely stay again!

Relaxing in the mountains!

My sisters and brother and spouses have been staying in a fall cabin in Canaan Valley every year since 2010. Even though the virus kept us in most of the week, this cabin made that very enjoyable. The location of the cabin was great, really liked the drive and parking, and the layout of the cabin was about perfect. In all the years we've stayed, this cabin receives our top rating for cleanliness and being kept up. The new section of the deck was perfect and even the grill worked perfectly. Even though we are 6 seniors over 70, we hope to go back to Mile' Fa'ilte.

They were fantastic through the whole process, from changing the dates of our reservation without any problems to helping us out when we got unexpectedly snowed in for two days longer than we intended to stay. We've rented Mile' Fa'ilte from several rental companies over the years, and the Best of Canaan was definitely the best we've experienced.

A Sanctuary in the Woods

It is very evident that the owners poured their heart into this place - the house is decorated with unique objects from distant lands, collected by someone with a great artistic sense. The house is just the right size for two families to have a great time and there are bedrooms in three levels, giving enough privacy.Our Family of four stayed for 4 days during the first week of October - the fall colors were spectacular. Access to Dolly Sods from the community is a super plus for Hikers and Nature lovers. The location is perfect to go to Blackwater Falls State Park, Canaan Valley Wild Life Refuge/State Park , Seneca Rocks, Spruce Knob etc.We will definitely be back soon.

This was our 2nd trip to Canaan Valley and we love the area. Everyone is so pleasant. For a nature lover it is perfect. The small towns nearby have shops and restaurants, some of of which are "quirky" but fun and good food. Highly recommend it.

However we were disappointed this year some of the light bulbs were burnt out and the remote had no batteries we did find batteries and some light bulbs in a downstairs closet. However there was upper light bulbs that couldn't be reached! Over all would go back we alway have a great time there!

It is spacious, comfortable, clean, and full of conscientious little touches that greatly enhance the experience. I was a bit worried when I arrived to see a lot of lots very close together. However, when you arrive to the location, you get the feeling of being isolated and surrounded by the woods. The house has everything you will ever need from cooking implements, board games, to additional linens. The two fireplaces are a nice touch as well. This was an amazing experience and we would DEFINITELY return!
