Sugar Beach Resort #PH-29 is a penthouse suite towered on the sixth floor and located on the front row, inner-end location of the complex. From the balcony, you are just a stones-throw away from the water. This direct ocean view is perfect for outdoor dinning, watching sunsets, or observing the whales in season! Sugar Beach Resort #PH-29 is a 1 bedroom 1 bath condo that can sleep up to 2 guests. The unit has a full kitchen, washer-dryer, central AC, and an oceanfront balcony. There is a cal king bed in the Primary bedroom. Unit has cable TV, stereo system, and complimentary Wi-Fi. Long distance calling to the US Mainland and Canada is included. The unit also comes equipped with basic beach equipment you will need to explore any of Maui's pristine beaches.
This condo fronts a long white sand beach called Sugar Beach which is perfect for long walks, sunsets and fun in the sun.
Same day bookings (meaning arrival is within 48 hours of making the reservation) requires a phone call to Rentals Maui for confirmation.
Bookings made within 7 days of arrival will require an ID check and screening prior to confirmation.
Longer stays require additional terms and conditions. Please contact Rentals Maui for inquiries longer than 60 nights.

We enjoyed the ocean front view, particularly the sunsets in the evening. The condo was clean and had all the amenities that we needed. Timely communications from the host/manager were excellent. We would like to stay here again.

Amazing view. Directions to locate building ans room at the resort needs improvement. I arived late ans power was out. Walked around in the dark and rain for some time. Neighbors frequently blocked doorway with shopping cart. Room very clean and comfortable. Mattress could be better.

My husband and I celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary. This condo was clean, comfortable well stocked and the king bed was perfect and comfortable we enjoyed looking at the beautiful views from the lanai and taking long walks on the beautiful clean beach every day! Perfect Maui Location

The property is in the perfect location to visit all parts of the island and explore trails and beaches. It is centrally located for amazing restaurants. It is quiet and on THE best beach for walking and relaxing!

Another great stay at Sugar Beach

This was our 6th time staying at Sugar Beach Resort, and we thoroughly enjoy ourselves once again. PH29 was very comfortable and well equipped, though a bit outdated. We would definitely stay here again.

Bedroom and space

The place is perfect for two people. If you have smaller kids, I would say under teens, I would say two would work probably no more than one if there teens. Everything was clean the patio and view was amazing. Everything was well prepared for our arrival. We would definitely stay there again.

Everything was good except the tv access and direction. We had someone come up towards end of our stay and instructed how to use it.A major complaint would be the toilet paper was terrible- you could wipe you butt without making it a 8-10 ply

Very clean and well equipped property. The view could not be beat!!! The only negative is that the power went out for 8 hours on Friday and we have been without air conditioning since. No fault of the owner, the whole building is out!!!

Very clean with amazing view

We stayed in PH29 from September 5th through September 10th, 2024. This was our fourth stay at Sugar Beach Resort since 2002, and the unit was by far the cleanest and most well furnished unit we have stayed in. The owners recently replaced the washer/dryer unit, the couch, the recliner, the refrigerator, and the carpets in the living room and bedroom. There was one issue with the air conditioner sensor on the sliding glass door but a maintenance technician was able to replace the batteries. We hope to stay in this unit again when we visit Maui!

Perfect view of a perfect beach

This place was perfect for my wife and I. It is right on Sugar Beach with a full view of the ocean. There is a full kitchen with all the gear we needed, which made breakfast on the balcony overlooking the beach a great way to save money on our trip. The hotel has a very nice hot tub and swimming pool, but we preferred the ocean. The property itself is definititly a little dated, and while they have a sandwich shop there, we mostly made our own food or drove in to Kihei for food. The room did come with 2 Tommy Bahama chairs, which was great but didn't come with shampoo and conditioner. The bed was comfortable and bed room was quiet. The bathroom was small and only has a shower, but that was fine for us. Overall a great value for a beach side room in Maui.
