Sugar Beach Resort #PH-29 is a penthouse suite towered on the sixth floor and located on the front row, inner-end location of the complex. From the balcony, you are just a stones-throw away from the water. This direct ocean view is perfect for outdoor dinning, watching sunsets, or observing the whales in season! Sugar Beach Resort #PH-29 is a 1 bedroom 1 bath condo that can sleep up to 2 guests. The unit has a full kitchen, washer-dryer, central AC, and an oceanfront balcony. There is a cal king bed in the Primary bedroom. Unit has cable TV, stereo system, and complimentary Wi-Fi. Long distance calling to the US Mainland and Canada is included. The unit also comes equipped with basic beach equipment you will need to explore any of Maui's pristine beaches.
This condo fronts a long white sand beach called Sugar Beach which is perfect for long walks, sunsets and fun in the sun.
Same day bookings (meaning arrival is within 24 hours of making the reservation) requires a phone call to Rentals Maui for confirmation.
Bookings made within 7 days of arrival will require an ID check and screening prior to confirmation.
Longer stays require additional terms and conditions. Please contact Rentals Maui for inquiries longer than 60 nights.
We work to maintain a very accurate website. At times furniture, decor or flooring may be upgraded and pictures are not updated yet. This would not change the seating, sleeping, function or views of the condo. Amenities are accurately and clearly listed for your convenience.

This oceanfront complex is just a few steps away from Maui's longest continual white sand beach, perfect for long strolls on the beach or enjoying postcard sunsets! The complex itself has tasteful Hawaiiana decor and all the amenities you will need to enjoy a relaxing vacation. Some of the amenities include a large oceanfront pool and spa, onsite restaurant and lounge, shared gas grills, a putting green and so much more. Located in South Maui, you are just a quick drive away from premier golf courses, tennis clubs, restaurants, shopping, and world-class beaches.

Perfect Maui Location

The property is in the perfect location to visit all parts of the island and explore trails and beaches. It is centrally located for amazing restaurants. It is quiet and on THE best beach for walking and relaxing!

I give low scores for value and listing description all due to VRBO!!! Carful that you dont take their description of "all fees included" When you rent the space there ends up being two charges one from VRBO that is NOT in the all fees included number and then one from the host for the number advertised.Unit was in a quiet location and usable but needs to be updated for the price that they are charging. for a couple hundred more I saw fully updated units with modern kitchens and bathrooms.

Another great stay at Sugar Beach

This was our 6th time staying at Sugar Beach Resort, and we thoroughly enjoy ourselves once again. PH29 was very comfortable and well equipped, though a bit outdated. We would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary. This condo was clean, comfortable well stocked and the king bed was perfect and comfortable we enjoyed looking at the beautiful views from the lanai and taking long walks on the beautiful clean beach every day! Bedroom and space

The place is perfect for two people. If you have smaller kids, I would say under teens, I would say two would work probably no more than one if there teens. Everything was clean the patio and view was amazing. Everything was well prepared for our arrival. We would definitely stay there again.

Amazing view. Directions to locate building ans room at the resort needs improvement. I arived late ans power was out. Walked around in the dark and rain for some time. Neighbors frequently blocked doorway with shopping cart. Room very clean and comfortable. Mattress could be better.

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Bugs, bugs everywhere! Could not use our beautiful Lanai. Screens did not help. Complaining to the manager on property gave the advice, Keep windows and doors closed and turn off TV and lights. In other words, sit locked in your room in the dark. Unbelievable! They also suggested I buy bug killer. Also, they closed the Hot tub for no apparent reason the whole weekend. Since we left Monday morning, I don't know if they opened it after that.

Everything was good except the tv access and direction. We had someone come up towards end of our stay and instructed how to use it.A major complaint would be the toilet paper was terrible- you could wipe you butt without making it a 8-10 ply
