As a self-proclaimed hotel stay enthusiast, I have to share my fantastic experience at this residence! The location is unbeatable, especially for anyone in town for the Rodeo—it's just minutes away from the stadium! I highly recommend this place. It's not just super clean; it has charming aesthetics that really enhance your stay. Plus, the host's communication was top-notch. Overall, I was thoroughly impressed and can't wait to return!

Overall great

The place is roomy and very clean. The neighborhood is older but the house has been nicely updated. We had trouble with the HVAC while there but the owner attempted to remedy the situation.

Great Home for a visit to MRG Stadium

We chose this home for its proximity to the airport and the NRG Stadium for our football weekend. The home did not disappoint one bit. It’s exactly as shown in the listing. Update home, cozy furnishings, safe and secure.

Excellent all around

This place was perfect for our girls trip to the Cowboy Carter tour. Plenty of space for 4 women to get dressed, great lighting for both makeup and selfies, and a gracious host. Added bonus it’s minutes to NRG Stadium. The iron gate & alarm helped us feel secure. The place was very clean & nicely decorated. Did I mention the host was awesome? Very responsive, even when I was delirious from driving & hadn’t read the directions clearly. Much appreciated!

Emerald home stay

I enjoyed a short stay at this home. The check-in process was smooth. The host was available to answer all of my questions. The home itself is very beautifully decorated. There are mirrors in every room but I especially loved the large triple mirror detail by the entrance. A last-minute outfit check is a must. It is very clean with all of the amenities listed included. I felt very safe. The city center is close and easy to get to. I will absolutely book again in the future.

Houston for the weekend

The property was accurately described. Very difficult understanding the check in instructions prior to arriving. However once we got there it made sense. Had a few challenges once there. However Max was quick to respond to our text messages and phone calls. Overall great experience. I’d recommend this place to a friend.

Houston Livestock Show

Nice apartment within a few minutes of NRG .Negatives : parking would not accommodate a dually pick up because of length. Security gate could not be closed and street parking was not available.We had to leave pick up in secure park at NRG . Neighborhood was questionable?? Roomy apartment, well kept and nice host !

In regards to parking, we made sure we indicated the type/size of cars suitable to occupy the drive way. I worked with other guest attending the Rodeo on ways to park their trucks in the drive way or other alternatives. As you know we have a large open space towards the right of the allocated drive way were guest can pack extra cars. We got zero communication from you throughout your stay neither did you respond to any of our communications even at the time you had issues with check-in. I’ll suggest you try communicating with hosts more as we put a lot of effort making sure our guest are comfortable with timely responses. Also street parking in front and at the corner of the property was available and I also had extra parking available for large trucks on an empty lot located opposite the property. property is located in a peaceful neighborhood with very much family residents and we’ve not had a single incident of theft or break-in. We also provide 24hr security monitoring surveillance on the property with automation which you can confirm. We appreciate your feed back and thanks for staying with Emerald Home.

Worked perfectly

Our daughter was competing in the Houston livestock show in rodeo paint show as well as the youth Horse show this past week we had two different VRBO properties that we were staying at and our first one cancelled on us the day of so we were thrilled that this one worked out and it worked perfectly. We were minutes from NRG stadium. The host responded almost immediately anytime I reached out and the house is just as cute as it can be. In fact, I need to know what the mattress brand is in the master bedroom I slept like a rock. Yes, the house is around for the lack of better words seem a little shady but with the gate and all the locks we never felt unsafe at all if I ever need a home close to NRG again this will be the first one I look for. .

Thanks for the feedback Peggy. These are all lies and we do not appreciate dishonest guests. We came out to the apartment and fixed the low batteries in the smoke alarm. and you were contacted before and after fix 3hrs prior to your report. For the towels, we always have 2 bath towels, 2 hand towels, 2 face towels in each room with spare towels in the laundry room as see. Exactly in the pictures. For future renters, this is a dishonest review by a dishonest guest as we have proofs and conversations that we reached out to guest, fixed alarm issues and got no response back from guest until this review.
