Extremely spacious, great deck up top to hang out. Very large kitchen to cook. Clean carpet in the upstairs area with comfortable beds. It was also so close to downtown Bemus point. It was the perfect spot for our group. No AC though so it did get a little warm on some evenings.

We had a wonderful weekend staying in the large barn with our family! The barn is absolutely beautiful, spacious, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was exceptionally well stocked with all the cookware, dishes, and utensils we needed to prepare our meals, which made it feel just like home.The property itself is gorgeous and was a perfect place to relax and spend time together. While there isn’t air conditioning, the owner provides plenty of fans throughout the barn, and they kept everything comfortable—we hardly noticed the lack of A/C.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely come back again. Highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a unique, comfortable, and beautiful place to gather with family or friends!

What a beautiful and roomy home. We truly enjoyed our stay. This home is so well cared for inside and out. It is stocked with everything you could need and so CLEAN!! The location is great-only 1 mile from the lake. Many thanks to our host for such a great find!!

Nice and pleasant Stay

We had a good stay and we all enjoyed the stay. We had one feedback which was communicated before but still would like to have a dishwasher. We would definitely come back next time.

Barn House in Bemus Bay

We had a fantastic stay at this barn house. We had 2 families that stayed. It was very spacious where we had our own sleeping space and space to have some privacy but when we did things together it felt cozy. The owner of the property made everything very easy and was very responsive to messages it was a short drive to town. We loved every minute of our stay and would love to go back!

Cousin Fun at "The Barn"

The cousins enjoyed a two night stay at "the barn". The first floor was utilized mostly with the big kitchen, plenty of places to eat, kid friendly area and seating areas for intimate conversations. The outside area was cozy with rockers to watch the little ones run around and try to catch the butterflies. Many memories were made. Thanks Emily for letting us enjoy our family.

Really nice large home!

Emily was super helpful and responsive! I had a couple questions and she answered immediately! I loved having one open floor for all of us to hang out but there were other levels that allowed you to get space if you wanted it.

Amazing weekend at The Barn in Bemis Point

Words can explain how amazing this place is. Everything about it is top notch - I could write a book on how awesome it is 😊😎😊😎 we weee able to fit 13 people so comfortably and never felt like we were under each others feet . Weather allowed us to be outside for cornhole and ladder ball during the afternoon and beautiful campfires at night ! None of our group had anything negative to say about any of our stay . LOVED it and will be returning at some point ! Thank you Emily and Greg !

Chautauqua Lake area-renovated barn

Overall- great place! A little further from the lake that we had originally thought but that was our problem, not the listing.It is not air conditioned and while our host provided us with a ton of fans, we happened to be there on the hottest weekend of the summer so we were still hot. It is a beautiful setting with neighbors a little close by. Great places in and on the property for large groups to be together, chatting and eating! We loved that part of the property! Beds were comfortable as well.Great host who was very communicative!

Perfect family retreat

We had a wonderful time in The Barn; quirky in the best way! There were 11 of us - 3 daugers, 2 husbands and 4 cousins along with us grandparents. Lots of beds and privacy when needed and open space for activity both inside and outside. We used the fire pit twice and the kids played extensively in the large yard. The porch downstairs was used constantly and the deck upstairs became the kid hangout. The kitchen was very well appointed with open cupboards for all our supplies. Long, large islands for prep and buffet eating. The location was perfect for visiting Chatauqua Institute, Panama Rocks, Cassadaga Lake, Niagra Falls NY, boating on the lake and exploring charming Bumus Point. Emily responded to our minor requests quickly and cheerfully. If the cousins have their way, we'll be back next summer!

This was a most amazing place! There were eight of us who stayed here and had two large family get togethers at The Barn. Everyone commented how great this place is, and it's true! There is so much living space, upstairs and downstairs, two porches, two very well stocked kitchens, plenty of sleeping space, and lovely grounds. The bathrooms are updated and there is plenty of hot water and good water pressure. For us, the location was perfect with family in nearby Jamestown and surrounding communities, and its proximity to Chautauqua Institution and Wegmans! The communication with Emily was very good.Some of my cousins have lived in the area their entire lives, and one (90 yo) remembered driving a horse and buggy down to The Barn when it was a feed mill!Many memories were brought alive and many new ones were created.

Just got back from a 4 day stay with my family. 7 adults and 7 children-house was so spacious and it had everything you need.We loved everything about this rental and owners were very prompt about answering questions
