Advent Cottage Great outdoor space. Close to everything by land and water!

Lakefront living! Located in the back of the cove. This cozy home has everything you need for a great gathering! Big comfortable bedrooms for optimal sleeping. The outdoor twinkle lit covered patio has a grill and patio set for a peaceful night. The firepit by the water can be used to roast marshmallows or just provide a "woodsy" ambience. Outside you can find 2 kayaks to launch right off the dock and experience the lake. This property has a large fenced in backyard for your furry family members to stay safe and have plenty of space. The downstairs has several games, including air hockey and connect four.
This property is centrally located by land and by water. You will be close to lots of bars/restaurants as well as shopping.
We would love to host your family and/or friends for a Lake of the Ozarks getaway.

No wash clothes or dish cloths. The driveway was gravel and then very steep! Terrible for motorcycle and walking to house! It was not mentioned in the description of the property!

Great place

The host was extremely nice. The house is spacious and nice. There was anything you would need in the kitchen. It’s super close to bars and things to do. The stairs to the loft were a little scary and there was no ladder into the lake. The driveway was also very steep but there is parking at the top of the hill. Highly recommend staying here.

First I’d like to say I stayed here last year, and we loved it. That’s why we came back. Rates had increased about 100 a night, but everyone is price gouging these days, so we dealt with it due to the enjoyment our last trip brought us. Upon arriving, I had not heard from anyone on how to check in. Took an hour to get ahold of anyone. Finally I was told they “Left the door unlocked” and I was just supposed to magically know that. It was the back door up the stairs on the deck, not even the front door. The ad says the same as last year and that the house came with 4 kayaks and a paddle boat. It does not. The house was sold, and so were two of the kayaks as well as the paddle boat. The neighbors bought them and were nice enough to let us use the paddle boat, but it was awkward and I should not have had to ask for something I paid for. When walking into my room downstairs, the carpet was soaked. Come to find out, the washer and dryer don’t work, and the washer was just leaking onto the floor. Mold going up the walls. The entire basement smelled of mildew. There were still old clothes in the washer and dryer. I have pictures of the mold I’ll be posting. We were told there was a bbq grill. There was, it was disgusting. So disgusting in fact that it nearly caught fire, and never would cook our food, once again, I’ve got pictures. The yard hadn’t been mowed. Two friend of my rented later in year. I’ll encourage them to cancel. Terrible 1500 spent. Do not recommend.

The house was beautiful! It was really nice having the kayaks and paddle boat. Those kept everyone busy the entire weekend! Thank you so much. It was perfect!

Bring your own propane

If you are planning on grilling out, be sure to bring your own propane. We had 3 empty tanks, called the host and left a message. They didn’t respond so we took a tank to exchange which cost me around $23 bucks. The host called the next day and said they don’t provide full tanks of propane. How do you get a half bottle of propane?? They did not repay me back. They also did not have any mixing bowls and lacking other kitchen items. The loft is really a kids sleeping zone, the spiral staircase was not adult friendly. We will not book this place again. On a positive note, the place was beautiful.

Had a great time. Beautiful and quiet on a dead end road. A lot bigger and nicer than the pictures show. Michaella was very cool! Couldn't have asked for a better host

Nice quiet stay!

We had 8 people. 4 adults, 4 kids.. nice quiet cove, VERY shallow. The house was very clean upon arrival. Very nice neighbors! Only complaint would be a ladder for the dock. Makes getting in and out kind of difficult if you are agile.

Weekend Family Trip - Awesome!

Great place to stay with the family on the water. Quiet cove, the cutest porch, and dock access to the lake. Bedrooms were very accommodating for two families with kids.

Great Location in Quiet Cove

We were in town for my daughters softball tournament at Ballpark Nationals. We were about 20 minutes from thr Ballpark but an easy drive down 54. We greatly enjoyed this little oasis to come back to after a long day at thr Ballpark. The house was clean and well stocked with what we needed to make our meals and it was nice to have access to the out door grill. Our kids (10 and 13) enjoyed playing in the water and using the kayaks. It was nice to be at the end of a quiet cove where there was very little boat traffic and they could swim safely, even making friends with the kids next door. We had great weather and were able to eat meals and play cards in the covered patio. There was plenty of room for 4 adults and 2 kids. The only caution I would give is that the driveway is steep, probably typical for a lakefront property. Also, there are spiral stairs to get to the upper bedroom and narrow stairs to get doen to the king bedrooms which we managed without difficulty but if traveling with small children or adults with joint issues might pose a challenge. There was no twin bed on the main floor which did not affect our stay. Overall, really enjoyed our stay and the location and our host was super responsive!

Loved it

It was spacious for the 5 of us. We did utilize the kayaks which was pretty fun. It was close to everything. Beds were super comfortable.

Wonderful lakeside stay

Wonderful property right on the water! We enjoyed using the kayaks and life jackets provided. We also enjoyed the air hockey table and jacuzzi tub. Host was very helpful with check-in and questions we had. The fenced area for our dog and kennel provided was such a nice bonus. It was close to lots of great restaurants and a marina where we rented a boat for tubing. One thing to note is the 4th bedroom listed as having a twin bed was an office without a bed. This didn’t impact our stay at all but might be an issue for others. Overall, we would highly recommend this property and wished we could have stayed longer.
