Located on `Little` Lake Wissota, this cozy rental offers four bedrooms, two baths. In addition, it features exercise equipment, full kitchen, living room, patio and upstairs deck for beautiful views. The dock and backyard will also be exclusively yours during your rental! Guests have access to a pack and play and a high chair for children as well.

The Calypso King Suite: Expansive lake views, lighted vanity, closet, dresser

The Mermaid’s Grotto Double Queen Suite: Lighted vanity, luggage racks, dresser

The Nautilus Bunkhouse: Bunk Bed (lower double, upper single), lake view, and exercise equipment

The Crow’s Nest: Upper level private suite with lake view, 1 queen bed, ensuite bathroom

This property is a single family home with three bedrooms in the lower level, and one upper level suite (The Crow’s Nest) which is separated from the others and private. To access the Crow’s Nest, guests will ascend steps to the lakeside upper deck.

Guests have access to kayaks, a paddleboard, paddle boat, aluminum canoe, and 1 large lilypad float. There are several inflatables for kids to use on the water as well. If you choose to bring a boat, let us know so we can provide further instructions! There are also several boat rental options on Lake Wissota. Go swimming by the dock, enjoy the water toys, or head out to Mermaid Island sandbar - a beautiful spot about 50 feet wide, 150 feet long, and 2 feet deep, only 250 yards from the Mermaid Bay Getaway dock!

In addition to our beautiful Wisconsin summers, visit Mermaid Bay Getaway during the Autumn season to view the beautiful colors and visit many apple orchards and wineries nearby. Winter is also a wonderful time to visit for great ice fishing, nearby snowmobile trails, and plenty of skiing and snowshoeing opportunities in the area. Spring brings many nearby sporting and music events. No matter the season, Mermaid Bay Getaway is sure to impress!

An upstairs living room, kitchen, and bedroom is inaccessible to guests. This space is used for owners storage, and is where they stay when they utilize the home. This space will be unoccupied during your stay. Two friendly sister cats, Fifi and Lizzy, live in the owner’s area of the home. Although renters will likely not have interactions with these sociable gals, you may hear the pitter patter of paws upstairs during your stay. It is important to note that there are steps descending into the lower level, and steps ascending into the upper suite.

Guest dogs are welcomed and require an additional $75 fee (per dog - up to two per reservation)
All members of the rental party agree to conduct themselves in a manner that is respectful of the property and the neighbors. Be a good neighbor who is friendly, courteous, and mindful of noise, especially between the hours of 10 p.m. and 8 a.m.
