The very large wrap around deck is outdoor living at its best! It’s the perfect place to watch the sun rise over the lake and sip on some freshly brewed coffee from the homes’ coffee bar where you can choose freshly ground or Keurig. There is plenty of seating to read a great book, sunbathe, play cards or board games. Don’t miss the colors of the evening sky reflecting off the water. Beautiful shades of orange, pink, blue and purple, making it a perfect time to “wine” down!
Wilkinson Lake is a sandy bottom lake, perfect for swimming or floating around. It is also known for some great fishing! Don’t forget to cast a line and maybe catch a largemouth bass or northern pike.
The home offers 2-paddle boards and 4-kayaks (2 adult and 2 children). Plenty of floats to have a lazy day soaking in the water and life jackets of different sizes, including youth. The yard provides a fire pit with chairs, perfect for roasting s’mores, relaxing or star gazing!
Inside you will find a comfortable and updated 3-bedroom, 1-bathroom cottage. Master bedroom has a king size bed with memory foam pillow topper, all new linens, nightstands with power/USB outlets and blackout curtains. 1st floor spare bedroom has a full size bed, all new linens, nightstands with power/USB outlets and TV with high-def antenna. The upstairs bedroom has two twins (trundle bed), a closet and dresser, large window overlooking the lake, fresh linens and window treatments.
The kitchen offers everything and extras like air-fryer, popcorn maker, coffee grinder, wine decanter and more! The living room has all new furniture, including couch, recliner, beanbag chairs and Wi-Fi TV with plenty of stations and apps to find something to watch. Looking for a good book? The book case offers something for everyone, along with DVD movies and board games. The bathroom is freshly updated with all new towels and tank-less water heater. The majority of the home has been freshly painted and nicely decorated with your comfort in mind. Keep in mind that the home is built into a hill and there are stairs that lead down to the house. The stairs are newly built with railings on both sides, wide steps, short risers and landings.
Downtown Delton, MI is a short 6 minute drive with plenty of restaurants, coffee shop and grocery store all within a short distance of each other. The Gilmore Car Museum is within 15min, Gun Lake Casino within 30min, 3-golf courses all within 30min or less and several wine tasting rooms and breweries all within 40min or less from the house.
