This Cape Cod-style home is just one block from the beach and conveniently located near shops and restaurants. It features four bedrooms and three full bathrooms, making it ideal for families or groups.

Welcome to Beach Break Vacation Rentals! Our homes are ready for easy self-check-in so you can get settled right away. If you need assistance during your stay, our team is just a quick call or text away. We’re here to make sure your time at the coast is smooth and comfortable.

Susan’s Beach Cottage is tucked in the heart of Manzanita, Oregon — a charming coastal town known for its laid-back vibe, walkable main street, and seven miles of pristine sandy beach. Step outside and you’ll find local cafés, boutique shops, art galleries, and restaurants just a short stroll away.

Whether you’re here to relax, recharge, or explore, Susan’s Beach Cottage puts you right in the center of it all.

Guests have full access to the home and all listed amenities, including the kitchen, laundry, WiFi, and parking. Unless noted otherwise, the property is entirely private for your stay.

Great Vacation Stay

Classic beach cottage

This place is great for a large family and is a classic vintage beach home just steps from the shore. We had a wonderful stay and hope to rent it again! 4 instead of 5 stars because a few things needed repair, but it’s a really great place!

Susan's Beach Cottage is a fantastic place for a family gathering on the Oregon Coast. The house is cozy and comfortable, the backyard is wonderful for a dog and s'mores after dinner, the beach is one(!) block away, and Manzanita's main street is a three minute stroll. We had a GREAT time, and would be delighted to return!

Family trip

The property was a great location. Steps to the beach and equally short distance to restaurants and shops in downtown Manzanita. The neighborhood was quiet and the fenced yard a bonus for our dog. We really enjoyed the big wood fireplace and the separate areas to gather. The dining table was lovely for meals and puzzles. The kitchen was missing a few items, enough flatware, coffee grinder and garbage bags. The vacuum didn’t seem to work. Overall a very cozy and enjoyable spot.

Vintage chic cottage

For context, we come to Manzanita twice yearly and have done so for the past 15 years. This house is ideally located a block from Laneda Ave and the beach. If you have pups, they will love the large yard. The property has the potential to be a great rental, but everything is old as you will see in the listing pics. It’s fine that everything is vintage, but the main bedroom mattress is well beyond its useful life and all chairs and loveseats are worn out. The rental agency was very helpful and responsive and will hopefully make necessary repairs to the plumbing and dishwasher.

The online picture of this house must have been taken years ago. Not bright, clean and well arranged. Windows were dirty. The entry keylock was extremely difficult, the house smelled like mold, living room had way too much furniture. Small TV stuffed in the corner. Master room bedspread was stained, chairs had stuffing coming out 2nd room upstairs looked like urine stains in the chairs, windows were dirty. We we left 15 minutes after arriving. Host said she would give us a full refund. I wish I would have taken photos before I ran out of there.
