Open Great Room/Kitchen Floor Plan offering 3 larger bedrooms/ 2 ½ baths situated on the Davis Canal Waterfront with long range views of Marsh. Only 3-minute walk to the beach. Located on a quite street which mainly attracts people who enjoy exercising: walking, running, biking. We look for good people that are looking for value for your vacation. Great Price for a Great House! A couple of things to outline: We do not supply Linens and We Do not allow Pets. If you can live with our small request we assure you will not be disappointed. Come relax and enjoy yourself! We look forward to having you.

The location of the house is great - 2 blocks from the beach! The house is very open and bright. We had everytthing we needed to cook our own meals. We really enjoyed our stay!

The house is beautiful, the location was great, I had the nicest weekend visiting family and even though it was a little chilly I got some time on the beach. Thanks for renting me your home the stay was perfect.

Great Spring Break Stay

Great vacation home

We enjoyed our vacation at Oak Island. The Honey Hole is a lovely and spacious home that is kid friendly. It’s in a great location just a couple blocks from the beach and convenient to everything on Oak Island. The owner was incredibly easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay again!

Great family spot!

When traveling with littles there’s a lot you need to prepare and pack for! Not here! The room with the crib had darkening curtains, the other room had mattresses on the floor for kids and toys and books. The space was perfect for our family of 5 and in laws. So convenient to walk back and forth to the beach! Steve is a great host, we definitely will be back!

Great location/find!

We had a great stay at "The Honey Hole"! The house is just a couple blocks from the beach, which was great. Nice, quiet neighborhood with friendly people. The owner was super friendly and responsive. We were there during 4th of July week, so we were able to see "dueling" displays from the beach 😊 - one in Southport and the other just south of Caswell Beach (maybe Holden or N. Myrtle). Would definitely dtay again.

Perfect respite place

Our family had a wonderful respite from the effects of Hurricane Helene this past week. The Honey Hole had everything we wanted and needed to make precious family memories. It is located on a quiet street two blocks from and an easy walk to the beach. The back porch also has a beautiful view of a waterway. The house was well set up for our needs with a primary suite on the main level and two more bedrooms upstairs-one with a glimpse of the ocean. There is a playroom upstairs that our toddler loved. The kitchen is relatively well equipped. We cooked or grilled all of our meals in house. Mostly we relaxed and enjoyed the time being together and enjoying the beautiful beach and ocean. As with many properties, do bring your own linens and towels. Brett was a very responsive and communicative host. We would definitely like to return to this house again sometime!

Very Spacious House

The week before our trip, the host reached out by phone and gave us info for check-in, allowed us to check in early because the house would be ready and asked if we had any questions, which was a nice added touch. We arrived to a clean and very spacious home. We just had 4 people but it could easily accommodate many more and still feel huge. Because we bring our own toilet paper and paper towels, it didn’t bother us but there wasn’t any in the house when we arrived so wanted to let future visitors know. Otherwise, the host was very quick to respond to any questions or issues if we had any, the neighbors are great, the beach was a short walk and we enjoyed our getaway.

This property is located on Pelican Drive which is quite street, very little traffic mainly people exercising: walking, running, biking. This house is Only 2 small blocks from the beach front access 3 minutes or less walk. Located within the center of the island so you are Close to all your necessities like Middleton Park which host concerts every Friday Night during the summer, grocery stores, restaurants, shopping, ice cream shops and more.
