Sam's Place. UPDATED LISTING! Relax in the hot tub after a day of golf!

Welcome to our quiet community just minutes from Southern Pines and Pinehurst. We have an attached 900 sq foot in-law apartment with a private entrance. 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, living room, dining room, and kitchenette. Sleeps 4 (we can provide bedding for the couch if necessary, but it is NOT a pull out couch. We can also provide air mattresses for additional sleeping). Bedroom 2 has a queen size Murphy Bed. Please let us know if you would like it pulled down for a bed or left up as a couch/sitting room. Easy access to the area's many golf courses, biking and walking trails, parks, shopping, restaurants, grocery stores, and much more. Hot tub, outdoor dinning, and fire pit areas available. This apartment *IS* attached to our main house, but there is a separate, private entrance for you and your guests to come and go. The kitchenette has a two-burner induction cooktop, microwave, refrigerator, countertop convection oven, and a Keurig coffee maker (there is no dishwasher however). There is a washer/dryer unit. And the shower is *amazing*!! Almost like a car wash. Come and be pampered!

Super cute, well-appointed, thoughtful touches throughout, and oh my goodness, the shower!!! We’re likely to rebook just on the strength of that spa-like shower. Great golfing and dining within 20 minutes of the apartment. If you’re visiting the area, this apartment is a great place to stay!

This place is adorable! The house is connected to the owners home as like a mother in law suite. It was cozy and felt like home. They had board games, musical instruments and a piano that my daughter loved. We felt the need to be quiet as it is attached to the owners home however we had no need to be loud either.. I rented this place for a girls trip to see my Mother. My two daughters one 15 and the other 8 found it to be very easy to enjoy. We relaxed in the very nice hot tube each night. Played games and slept well on both the beds. We highly recommend this peaceful retreat and we plan to rent this property again in the near future. Owners communicated well and were very every friendly. The location is wonderful and a grocery store is 3 mins away.. we highly recommend this property.
Also the Shower was AMAZING!!

Thank you for your nice review Megan! I am sorry you felt like you needed to be quiet -- the house was designed with extra sound proofing so we really can't hear what's going on next door (short of someone throwing a rave! lol). Plus when we rent out the apartment, we're the ones trying to be extra quiet to not disturb our guests. You definitely don't have anything to worry about either way!

After leaving the Air Force, we settled in Moore County, NC way back in 2004 in order to be closer to family. We built this beautiful in-law apartment for my mother in 2016 but she passed just a few years later. We're been very frequent renters on VRBO and have had the most amazing experiences all over the country and have learned a lot about what it takes to provide a comfortable, friendly, and inviting space for fellow travelers. We're excited to offer this apartment and being right next door, we are always available to help with anything.

After staying at another VRBO years ago with an amazing shower, we decided to replicate it when we built this in-law apartment. You honestly won't want to get out! And the hot tub is a high end Caldera Spa with incredible jets.
