Welcome to our Happy Place! 🙂 Kick back and relax in this stylish 2 bedroom 1 bathroom stylish a-frame cabin on a very private lot with views of Norris Lake. Cabin is 1.5 miles from Flat Hollow Marina and renters can use owners boat slip during their stay! 1 loft bedroom with queen bed and downstairs bedroom has two sets of twin bunk beds. Note there is a small spiral staircase leading to the bunk room downstairs. Large outdoor deck overlooking the lake with chairs and an outdoor fire pit and gas grill. Only 13 miles from Tackett Creek ATV Trails.

This cabin is the perfect little getaway! Its convenient location is just close enough to the marina but also far enough that you get a relaxing, quiet place. Not to mention it’s a beautiful property. We had so much fun - thanks for everything!

We absolutely loved Norris Lake, and this cabin was perfect for the 2 of us on our little getaway. I just wish the “lake view” was a little more open. Still gorgeous though!

This little a frame house was so cute !! It was great to have a full kitchen available and having a boat slip was a GREAT add on! Only down fall I would say if the parking but it’s on a mountain so there isn’t much you can truly do about it !! We loved it !

We were very happy with this place. I'd imagine during the summer, this area would be quite active, but it was perfect during the fall as we wanted some peace and quite. Attentive owner who responded quickly to messages. Overall, a great spot.

Weekend get away!

The host sent information a head of time so we had everything we needed. Very nice place to stay and peaceful. It has everything you need. The roads are windy and narrow but we knew that a head of time. Would definitely stay again! The beautiful front deck is amazing!

Very nice place

The unit was well set up with almost everything you need.. I made a few easy suggestions to the owners and it will be perfect! The only caution I will give is the path to the house is rough and uneven.. if you have difficulty walking, this place may be challenging…. But we loved it! Highly recommend!!!

Cute and quiet place

We spend labor weekend in this cute house, had everything we could possibly need, we have a 2 year old and they even had a highchair and a gate! clean and cozy beautiful house Wi-fi is not the best we barely had any, but we brought movies for the kiddos, because the same reason I recommend to take a screenshot of the instructions and code ahead of time. Besides that we loved the place! Be ready to deal with

The stairs to the house had a concrete section with no railing, and the stairs to the basement are unsafe - my 65yr old mother came with us to help babysit our 8month old and couldn’t take him to the basement sleep because it was too steep and the steps were 1/3 of the tread size. It tools us a hour to find the place with no cell service. The house was 75 degrees when we got in and the AC was not easily adjustable to accommodate my mother or infant . The parking was not suitable for two vehicles. Tree branches scratched my truck as I tried to get off the side of the road. The boat slip didn’t have any dock cleats to tie to which was annoying.

Sorry to hear you didn’t enjoy your stay. As mentioned in the check-in instructions, we have two parking lots, one next to the house where we are able to fit a full sized SUV and truck, and another lot in front of the house. We just had new concrete steps poured out front and are in the process of getting a railing added. The steps to get from the main floor down to the bunk room are steep, due to limited space in an a-frame, but there is also a second entrance to access the lower level from the outside. Unfortunately there isn’t much we can do about cell service in the area. You are the first guests to have an issue adjusting the A/C. Based on our communication it sounded like you were able to get it adjusted. The slip is rented from the marina so we cannot add cleats. We have no issues tying off our boat on the posts in the slip and no other guests have had issues. We’ve rented several homes in the area with docks that do not have cleats.

Exactly what we were looking for, Jillian was excellent at communicating and responding to questions and helpful with ideas. The house was accommodating for our group of 4 men on a fishing trip to Lake Norris it was well equipped and very clean and comfortable. Wit all lake properties in the area stairs are always an obstacle but the path from the parking area to the porch was a blessing as I’m a disabled Vet but was able to manage without any problems. The stairs to the lower level are a bit steep, so I recommend using the stairs from the porch and you won’t have any problems . Jillian is a great host and very helpful in answering every question you will have, I would not hesitate to rent again The boat slip was a “Big Plus “ and the Marina staff were outstanding in accommodating our needs, I’m talking above and beyond. Hats off to everyone for making our getaway trip another memorable one for the history books.
