We had a great stay at the end of August!! The weather was colder than usual but we lounged on the dock and always love to go to Bridgewater Marina. This house had plenty of room! There was also a nice supply of towels and blankets. The screened patio was lovely! Communication was great as well as easy, though we didn’t have any concerns. We loved every day of our stay. We enjoyed the chair swings, cornhole, a little pool, used the big tables for a puzzle, and more. We would all stay here again!

Nice place to spend a week and relax. Dock was a nice spot to enjoy the lake and we enjoyed kayaking and fishing. House had lots of board games and screened in porch made for an enjoyable start to our day.

Wonderful property! Quiet cove! House was immaculate upon arrival and check in was easy. Location was perfect and only 26 steps from lower level of house to dock! Close to Food Lion, Bridgewater Plaza and Parrot Cove for boat rentals.Drifter's restaurant is located at end of cove. Also, winery and riding stable nearby for added activities.We utilized the pool table, corn hole and games that were provided. The screened in porch was a great feature. Communication with Carol was excellent. There were 6 adults and 2 kids in our group and we had plenty of room. I would highly recommend this property for family gatherings.

This is our second year back. We never need to go anywhere else other than right here and foodlion for things to cook. Endless summer fun, deck jumping, swimming., making memories galore. Cannot wait to be back. The host is great and super responsive

Great experience

On this trip were my husband, my SIL, my 24 year old son, his GF, my 22 year old daughter, her BF, and me of course! So 7 adults! Everyone had a great time using the kayaks, floating in the lake, lounging on the spacious dock. My only sadness comes from the ice cream boat, it came into the cove on Sunday but obviously did not see me jumping up and down on the dock while waving my beach towel. He didn’t come over. I was excited to buy ice cream from a boat! Communication with Carol was very prompt. We will definitely consider returning next year.

Beautiful home. Host asked our plans which was celebrating Christmas. She offered to set up a tree and decor for us! What a blessing. Plenty of space and comfy beds. Would recommend!

Roomy house on the lake. Great for multiple couples.

This house is great because it is literally on the lake in a beautiful, wooded setting. Great in terms of bedroom space and large seating areas. Weather was cold for us during Thanksgiving so we used it more as a gathering place and couldn't take advantage of the lake. Even so it was peaceful and beautiful. The host is quick to respond to any concerns.

Great stay at SML

Had a great time at this property on SML. Our boat rental was at the marina right there in the cove and a great dock for all day play. Plenty of room and beds slept great. Just an amazing trip for the family.

Wonderful stay in a fabulous house!

Our three generation family had a wonderful stay in this house! The house was clean and well appointed. The dock on the lake, complete with boat house, kayaks, and comfortable lounging chairs, was above expectations. We thoroughly enjoyed swimming, kayaking, fishing, relaxing, playing games, and more during our stay. We had one minor issue while staying, but the host resolved it immediately to our complete satisfaction. You will not be disappointed if you choose to vacation in this house!

Great Lake House

Host was great at communicating. House was clean and i felt larger than the impression i had from the photographs. Great layout with plenty of room on both levels. Nice large decks on both levels overlooking the lake. Will definitely be back!

Great memories made

Plenty of fun to be had, swimming fishing relaxing cooking Property had everything we needed, only left to go to food lion which is right down the road for things to cook. Water under dock is 15’. Gets to 70’ the farther out you go. Rent a boat or jet ski, facilities in close proximity. We loved it. Will be back next year

First SML Vacation

This was our first trip to Smith Mountain Lake. We enjoyed our stay. The home is nice with extras like a king size Sleep Number bed and a pool table. Very clean with plenty of necessities like paper towels, TP, soap and dish liquid.

SML 4th of July getaway

We can't say enough good things about our stay @ SML Unsalted! The house was perfect for our family & the kids friends. They literally couldn't have done more to make our stay perfection. The house is beautiful, clean & well decorated. It was newly remodeled and super comfy beds & couches, a fully stocked gorgeous kitchen. The bedrooms were all good sizes w/ plenty of closet space and the Master was HUGE w/ a beautiful bathroom & large walk-in closet. The kids loved the lower level for the pool table and new 65" TV w/ X-box. The main level was spacious, comfortable, had a large dining table w/ a view of the the lake, the kitchen & the living area - Perfect! Love a lake house with an open floor plan. There were two decks that spanned the entire back of the house & the top deck is 1/3 screened in porch...where we sat with morning coffee and in the late afternoon to see the storms rolly by - Perfect! Cozy hammock chairs & swinging benches on the lower covered deck where family could be caught napping during the day or relaxing with a book. The pier & dock are fantastic. Plenty of room, a shade structure anchored to the dock, great view of the quiet cove, a floater for our rental boat (thx Goodhue Boat Company East Lake) and the tiki bar / shed was stocked with life jackets & noodles. Deep water, great for swimming & diving. And we loved having the 4 Kayaks on hand for exploring the Cove! Unsalted literally had it all! Great communication w/ Owner throughout!
